- Chance to Suppress Spell Damage is Lucky
Notes
Pros : - doesn't rely on gear, no particular unique needed to reach 4 voistones, all recommaned uniques are directly farmable - doesn't need a 6L (or a 5L) - no lab farming needed to get gems - smooth gameplay thanks to profane bloom - very safe bosser, great to learn fightn thanks to the crazy regen from Essence drain (1k life/s without any investment) and temp chain/enfeeble - runs every map mod except ES recovery rate Cons : - need to craft items - low dps, caps out at 10M but you got to work for it - defenses fall off a bit when reaching t16s, need Doppelganger guise for late game, but can be very tanky with proper investment. - slow bosser, it's fine if you stick to it and craft good items though The whole build relies on casting several Chaos spells to deal chaos damage over time to enemies. Main clearing spells are Bane and Soulrend, bane applies curses and does moderate damage, and if enemies take time to die, use Soulrend. Essence Drain is here to help damage tough bosses/rare enemies. The build uses Eldritch battery keystone to cast spells using energy shiel instead of mana, so you must always make sure you equip a few items wit energy shield to be able to sustain. A good rule of thumb would be trying to get 150 es in act 3/4 when you unlock EB, and then add around 50 es per act, 500 es at the end of the campaign is plenty. Until you get EB, use a mana flask to sustain mana, afterward, it becomes useless. Once you equip EB, you can use 2 auras, Purity of Elements and Malevolence, but if you feel like you're dying too fast, replace Malevolence by Grace. You can't equip soulrend and Bane until lvl 24/28, before then, use Blight/contagion/essence drain to get you there the gameplay is a bit shit until you get to equip Bane, because you need to get up close and the dps isn't amazing, but once you get it it becomes super fun and smooth. Chaos damage will be enhanced greatly if you inflict wither on your enemies, your second ascendency will o that, but slowly, so use withiering step to apply more withers immediately. Wither stacks up to 15, it basically doubles your damage if you get there. Be wary of curse limit, Bane lets you apply your curses freely, but if you link it with 2+ curses, you need to have either Whispers of doom or unholy authority to be able to apply all curses. If you get a 5L body armour early, either use it to add a curse to bane (enfeeble or punishment depening on if you want more damage or more surivability) or add efficacy to Soulrend for more damage. Chaos dot skills scale with gem levels primarily, so make sure to lvl your gems when possible to get more damage. When completing the labyrinth, you get to add exp/quality or transform a gem at the end. I personnaly like adding quality to bane to make curses stronger. use your offhand to level up 6 soulrend gems as soon as possible, when they reach lvl 20, corrupt them and hope that one hits level 21 for a good amage boost Soulrend quality is QoL, it's not needed early game. Stats to look out for on your items : - Wand : spell damage, cast speed, +1 level to chaos spells, damage over time multiplier, chaos damage over time multiplier - Boots : high movement speed, try to get 25% at least when you're in act 5, in absolute priority. - Everywhere else : Life, elemental resistances in priority. You can use two wands, or a wand an a shield. Remember to use the crating bench regularly to add elemental resistances to your items the most important is to always keep your res capped at 75%, you should be able to acheive that around act 4, but it's especially important as you reach act 5. Early mapping : Once you reach maps, if you want to improve your character, you'll need to craft a specific pair of gloves in priority to socket Soulrend into it. We can discuss this further when you get there. I recommend specing into Essence, Betrayal and expedition early on your atlas tree in particular, look out for weapons you unveil that have chaos damage multiplier, so you can learn to craft it on your wand. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ------===== ATLAS TREE =====------ The Atlas tree is a passive tree that will affect all maps you open with your map device (kirac missions do not count). Essentially, it will let you increase the rate at which you encounter mechanics, and buff their rewards, it's essential for progression. You will gain a point for every time you complete a map for the first time, t1-5 maps need to be magic, t6-10 need to be rare, and t11-16 need to be rare&corrupted to grant a point. When you reach 50 points, you will gain access to a second tree, and a third at 100 points. You can swap freely around those trees. You need unmaking orbs to respec your atlas tree, which are fairly uncommon at first, but can be purchased indefinitely from Kirac for 2 regret orbs. First Tree The first tree should look like that https://poeplanner.com/atlas-tree/BAASAEYAXK2W54kRTPWp766l0NhK0G2IWoHUufxNlIOCsfhzzgB8q8n9jepx9Rqs6PIndefZiDQkpdcroQOe2KykJ8m72ytxTdpw456ryyTEpueu9d7hEH21PQqtlaVz6-FOGxosx11UhxN9GwiQ2Y7Ywa_Dl1cUKraP5XNEM8bCdqlDtWNmH8QYxBbVObnU0CgUAB-LCAAAAAAAAAMDAAAAAAAAAAAA Hunt for answers -> Distinguished Demolistionist -> Buried knowledge -> (back to start) Prolific Essence -> Amplified Energies and the tree rarity nodes beyond it -> 3 nodes leading up to Crystal Resonance (don't pick the noe itself just the ones leading to it -> Effective leadership -> Pillage and plunder&Test of loyalty This can be summed up by : get Expedition nodes, then Essence nodes then Syndicate nodes. Why : Expedition is great because of Rog and Tujen, Rog will let you craft gear with a very random process that is hard to control, but will quite often result in decent items. In priority, try to get boots with movement speed life and resistances/spell suppression from his vendor window. I'll let you discover how it works, I think it's fairly intuitive. Tujen will be great for raw currency. Above all else, get Divine orbs, empower or enlighten gems if they show up. But otherwise grab chaos orbs, gemcutter prism, alteration orbs, fusings, jewellers and regret orbs. The big reason expedition is so important from the start however is that you absolutely need to purchase every fossil from Tujen in order to craft a cluster jewel later on. Fossil type doesn't mater, you can reroll it with harvest later. Expedition vendor windows scale with your level, capping at lvl90, so try to hold off from using your ressources until at least lvl 86 to get better outcomes (at least for rog, for tujen it matters less) Essences can be hard to kill, and not very rewarding until you reach yellow maps, which is why you're going to path toward them second. Your aim here is to get an essence of Delirium to craft gloves. Those gloves will be the first big upgrade to your character dps, but the essence isn't easy to come by. To get it you need to corrupt essences by using a remnant of corruption on the essence monster itself, it has 1/4 to change the essences into something else. Your goal is to use a remnant on a Misery, Envy, Dread or Scorn essence, any of those can be upgraded into one of the special corrupted essence : Delirium, Horror, Hysteria or Insanity. If you get any of those 4, you win, you don't need Delirium specifically because harvest essence reroll will reroll a corrupted essence into an other corrupted essence, and it's very cheap to do so (30 blue juice) Feel free to use essence scarabs and essence scarabs of ascent if you have some to improve your odds, aswell as the kirac map device to add essences to your map, although it costs 6 chaos, which is costly early on. Syndicate can be a bit dangerous an complicated but just play around with the board, you can't really fuck it up no matter what you do, as everything resets anyways after you kill the Mastermind. You have two goals here, one long term and one short term. Short term goal is to unveil weapons to get chaos damage/skill effect duration prefix craft and chaos damage over time multipler craft. Those can be fairly rng and it didn't get either until I reached tier 10 maps. Long term goal is to get a Veiled orb. Veiled orbs will be a substancial upgrade to your character later on your progression, but it's worth trying to get one early if possible, considering you'll need at the very least 2 of them. Veiled orbs are used to garantee a veiled modifier on an item, usually, you'll use it with a metacraft that costs 2 divine, it's not an early game crafting ressource at all, and is fairly hard to come by, so hold onto it if you get one early. We need it specifically to improve our gloves later on, fishing for a +2 aoe or +2 projectile prefix (fairly good odds to get either), which are basically a 30% more damage multiplier to Soulrend The veiled orb drops from The mastermind, the final boss of the Syndicate, with a droprate varying depending on what level the boss was. To sum it up, if the highest level safehouse you completed before fighting the boss was lvl 72 or lower, the droprate will be 15%, if it's 73-77, the droprate is 20%, and above it'll be 30%. Ideally, try to clear a single Syndicate encounter in a T6+ map and then complete a safehouse before killing the boss to improve a bit your odds. If you don't get a veiled orb that's okay really, you can farm it later, the most important is to get the chaos damage veiled crafts, after what you can respect your syndicate passives. If catarina drops her flask, try to unveil the rarity craft in priority, otherwise get 3% life regen craft, the other ones are generally useless. Alternate tree after respeccing syndicate : https://poeplanner.com/atlas-tree/BAASAEYAXK2W54kR1NHKSUz103u35a6l0NhK0G2IWoHUuWWQ1wf8TYKx-HPOAMn9UvaN6mj6GqyIcujyJ3Xn2Yg0nzskpU3X1yuhA6ykK3GhaAF6cOPNP8skRTrEpn21PQpOG8ddE30bCFjnkNnBr_4lVxSP5XNEM8bCdqlDtWNmHwFjxBhvtcQWmbnVObnU0CgUAB-LCAAAAAAAAAMDAAAAAAAAAAAA Removing Syndicate nodes to get delve nodes here, you don't actually need to delve, if you like it, you can though, it's just not very rewarding early on. What you're after is azurite generated by Mining Byproduct node. Azurite can be used to trade resonators with Niko in the Mine encampement. 300 Azurite nets you a primitive resonator, you'll need around 80 of those to craft a cluster later on, so try to get 40k azurite just to be sure. Second tree upon reaching 50 passive points, you unlock a second tree that you can spec differently and switch freely with the first one. On this tree you should focus on Harvest https://poeplanner.com/atlas-tree/BAASAEcA1NHKSdN7t-VsmbTpLJL-xW2IS99lkKtNzgDJ_Y3qqLwqu8y3vdrj82CynztuyE3X1yu_3J7Yl-LVsqFowViOOYdVAXrNP0U6t8_hEJvGwUKlc9ojThui0Mdd5uh-QKdV2ivBryPPj-VB_jPGolMjwsJ2qUNa1rVjZh-0ngFjxBhtVm-1ka-ZuekkudTQKBQAH4sIAAAAAAAAAwMAAAAAAAAAAAA= Harvest has many versatile uses, killing harvest monsters will grant you 3 different ressourves, vivid/wild/primal lifeforce, each enables different crafts on the horticrafting bench. Blue (primal) juice will primarily be used to reroll essences, or to reforge rings with a caster modifier Yellow juice will be primarily used to roll chaos modifiers on jewels Purple juice is the most important here, you need it to reroll fossils into abberant fossils which you need aroun 80 of. Those are one of the most common outcomes when rerolling. I would keep dense fossils too if you want to reroll trickster at some point, those are very good to craft body armors with very high defenses. I'll let you figure the mechanic out yourself, but be aware of the crop rotation keystone. I picked it on the tree and it radically changes the way you need to interact with harvest. I don't think it's necessarily better nor worse than not taking it, but i think it's way more fun to play with than without it's a good way to "save" time, if you enter the grove and see only 3 plots, you can leave because the results will not be good. Third tree Cluster farming If you reached 100 passive points, you reached "endgame" meaning you should be around the point where you fight your first pinacle bosses. This is the time to start making some serious upgrades, in particular getting a timeless jewel and a cluster jewel. Start with the cluster jewel, you're looking for a large cluster with 8 passives that grant increased chaos damage specifically. To get it, you have a few options, first one is Heist, but not everyone like it. Second one is mapping, with this tree: https://poeplanner.com/atlas-tree/BAASAGYAh9RfPniAYw8kl7L677rcO4a0LJKjnWm5eQCEKm2IPFkhYDD6o4j8TSjn8jjHwf91jEG1ZgBl7bZDdcn9fVqN6msxqLwqu9lbvdrk9xKct12L4X2R6PLNNd7-iDTaFLGXl2VoiR2P1I_bU4fbyc9tpoKnyYopjY45WYbPR7PH-7ELrF7fotAE_MsXIUzHXcQfsEiu7w75kNksSBiLwa8LceXsAtprZXELWx6P5RyEXtPCdomjqUNNYLVjoHHEGFgm-ATkM8QWudQj39AoFAAfiwgAAAAAAAADAwAAAAAAAAAAAA== Use this in low tier maps, like t5 or lower, I did it in Atoll personnally, as the map boss is trivial to kill. you need to use a delirium scarab of mania and a scarab of paranoia. it took me 5 maps to get 2 8passive chaos clusters, but i got a little lucky. The goal here is to full clear the map to get the delirium counter up, and when you reach 7 rewards, kill to boss to go to 8. Each time you go up a reward tier, many clusters will drop, kill the boss last because it gives you a free reward tier, and those are increasingly harder to reach. The reason you do this in lower tier map is that you will get low level clusters that are easier to roll with the modifiers you want because there are less possible outcomes. Once you get two large 8 passive chaos clusters, respect your tree. Bonus points if you go a small cluster with chaos resistances and 2 passives, but it's not a priority at this point. Timeless Jewel Farming : After getting your chaos cluster, you're going to respec most of the tree to farm legion. Don't be scared of using unmaking orbs, you can get a ton of them from regret orbs bought from Tujen. https://poeplanner.com/atlas-tree/BAASAG4Ah9RfPg-BZfJ4gAK2TPUklx7XsvrlMe-6bPMIQ0xkhrQskhGEeQCEKv7FbYg8WSFgMPr8TSjneGaUg_I4tWal2l6dzlpDdcn9fVqN6msxk_KovPz6KrvZW30evdrk97ddi-Ho8s01pjSxlwf01ytoiR2PKhJ7YIedLfvQxuwPAsWCpymNjjmKJn4rWYaCUYjo4RBOG6LQBPzLFyFMNTDHXbBIru8TfQ75kNksSMGvwXTl7DjGa2WP5QMwM8aaRF7T1WnCdomj-uWpQ7VjoHFmH8QYxBYc3elnudTQKBQAH4sIAAAAAAAAAwMAAAAAAAAAAAA= The goal here is to farm Timeless emblems, in particular Vaal, Eternal Empire and Karui emblems. Try to get around 8 of each, it should take around 10 maps to do so, use a legion scarab aswell as the map device legion craft for a few chaos to garantee 3+ legion encounters per map. As legion is hardish content, I recommand doing this in T10-12 maps. The mechanic is fairly straight forward, target the big chests in absolute priority, then the sergents that have a legion reward icon (the purple buttplug), you can ignore the generals. Once you got the stones, use one of each 3 : empire vaal karui in the map device to open the domain of timeless conflict. In there ignore everything except the vaal boss, he spawns north/east of the area. Kill it, run around a bit killing enemies, then 25 seconds later, go to the middle crystal the reset the area and respawn the boss, kill it again, rince and repeat, Aim for 4-5 kills, it's around 50% to get the timeless jewel at the end when the loot drops; be carefull, you need a jewel "sacrificed in the name of xibaqua" specifically. the number doesn't matter, but it needs to say xibaqua. If you can't be arsed farming an other jewel you can use divine orbs to reroll both the name and the number, it's 1/3 to get xibaqua, but I think divines are too important to be wasted on that. Endgame changes : After obtaining two voidstones, you should be around 110 passive points. You need to start thinking of farming maven for two reasons. First, she drops the body armor you'll use until the end of times. It's an incredible and very underrated item, but fairly rare (6% droprate), The Doppelganger's Guise. Second, Maven and the invitations you need to complete to get to her will get you awakened gems, which are a very significant upgrade to your damage. Good news, the awakened gems you need in priority (void manipulation, controlled destruction and swift affliction) all are the "common" ones, and are not exclusive to maven, you'll get them eventually, most likely from invitations like the formed or the twisted. To grind maven invitations, you can use this tree squeleton and add any mechanic you need to farm alongside : https://poeplanner.com/atlas-tree/BAASAFUAh9RQhl8-eIAE80z1nXYkl7L61Envuoa0LJJ5AIQq_sVtiDxZIWAw-vxNKOfyOIzktWZenUN1yf19Wo3qazGovCq72Vu92uT3t12L4ejyzTWxl2iJHY-HndDGgqcpjY45WYaCUU4botAE_MsXIUw1MMddsEiu7xN9DvkOMJDZLEjBr-Xsa2WP5QMwM8Ze09VpwnaJo6lDtWOgcWYfxBjEFtLoXKXpZ7nU0CgUAB-LCAAAAAAAAAMDAAAAAAAAAAAA Essentially you clear the whole map, so then maven spawns 3 additonnal bosses when you fight the map boss, and they can all drop elder/shaper/conqueror/synth maps, which in turn, you run to generate a lot of maven splinters and awakened gems ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ------===== KINGSMARCH =====------ Here I detail how i interracted with kingsmarch, it worked quite well for me Farming : ignore early on, just get the levels necessary to grow the ressources needed to upgrade the other hubs. Don't leave workers to farm the plots, it's expensive, and very inneficient use of gold early on. Mining : unlock verisium quickly, once you're well established in yellow maps, try to upgrade it to the max to get gold everytime you secure ore. Smelting : Unlock verisium bar, then only smelt just the amount of bars you need to upgrade other hubs. you can leave smelters on indefinitely once you max mining since the gold from the ore will cover the cost of smelting. Shipping : upgrade until you get access to a second boat quickly, then just spam shipments of 2 verisium bars to ribben fell. Hopefully you get the pirates to attack, the boss gives a decent amount of gold, but might take long to kill early on (veryeasy fight nonetheless). Upgrae it to the max once your mining is maxed. Disenchantment : run it 100% of the time until you get it to max level, disenchant all the rare rings/amulets you find. once max level, disenchant the uniques you find. Recombinator : Ignore until you maxed disenchantment Mapping : ignore until everything else is maxed Spaming 2 verisium bar shipments should amount to a decent scarab pool by the time you reach endgame and need to use them to farm delirium and legion. the recombinator is fairly expensive gold wise early on, but requires very little dust. Once you're into red maps, a map will cover 1.5 uses of the recombinator so it'll be fine. upgrade the rest in priority, you need a ton of alteration orbs to recombinate good item anyways. To get more gold ,equip a gold flask (with catarina rarity craft if you managed to unveil it from her flask), rarity scales the amount of gol enemies drop, i assume because drop is just items that get converted, and more rare = more gold You should also use the rarity from unique and rare monster helmet suffix craft. It is unveiled only from helmets dropped by janus. Once you're well established into endgame, try to make crops shipment of 20K corn and 20K wheat with 500k dust to ribben fell to maximise the amount of divine orbs you get. You can also try big shipments (500K+) of metals to get othe stuff, i recommand to the karguurian ports to get runes, you need them for your wand (life runes, and then very late game power runes) ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ------===== Gem Priority =====------ A quick section on how to use your 6 gems slots in your secondary set of weapon to level up gems, and how to use your gemcutter prisms. GCPs are fairly rare, and most of the ones you'll have will be from vendoring gems that dropped with quality already. Expedition remnants and tujen shop are particularly goo for that if you badly need more gcps. If you're playing in the necro settler event, it should not be an issu because of all the gemling monsters that drop quality gems. Never use your gemcutter prisms on support gems, except awakened gems. once your support gems reach lvl20, you can vendor each with a gcp to get the gem back to lvl1 with 20% quality Your first offhand lvling rotation should be Soulrend. Level up 6 soulrend gems in second weapon set and if you have a few more socket space on your gear consider lvling a few more. Once all your soulrends reach lvl20, ignore quality and vaal them, if you don't get a lvl21 soulrend in the process, start with a new set of uncorrupted soulrend gems. When all your gems reach lvl 20 around the same time, use gcps on Bane, then Essence drain in priority to get both to 20% quality. Secundary priority is to get a 20/20 despair, flame dash and withering step. If you're drowning in gcps, you can put 20% quality on Immortal call aswell, but since the gem should stay at low level to be triggered by a low level cast when damage taken, you can just wait for one with quality already on to drop. After Soulrend is upgraded to 21/0, do the same with essence drain, except you will need to quality them up to 20% before vaaling, this will be very costly in terms of gcps (expect to use 160 gcps for that on average) once that's done, level enfeeble gems to 20 and vaal without quality until you get a 21/0. Same for temporal chains, do it until you get one 21/0. Then level a new set of soulrend gems and quality them before vaaling for a 21/20 soulrend. By that point you should have beaten all the pinacle boses already. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ------===== GEARING =====------ Ideally, use evasion bases for the boots, gloves, helmets, to grab the 15% suppress mastery. keep in mind you still need around 600 ES to sustain mana usage 1. Body armor : A good thing about this build is that you don't really need a 6L, a 5L is enough to go all the way through endgame and kill all pinacle bosses (I just did that). you should have well over 1500 by the time you get your hands on a Doppelganger's Guise, so don't be afraid to use fusings to try to 5L manually a body armor that have decent stats If you get a 6L, that's nice but no need to get out of your way to find or link one, you'll get several of them when you farm legion for your timeless jewel anyways through geomancer incubators I recommand trying to get a int+dex base from rog with life and resistances, you don't really need anything else. Large shipments of crimson bars to ribben fell (200k+ value) have good hance to give you something decent with a nice number of linked sockets. Once you get eldritch embers/ichors, use them to roll physical damage taken as fire/cold/lightning or ideally chaos, and anything else that's usefull like chaos damage or aura effect. Once you get a Doppelganger's Guise (6% droprate from Maven) you just need to 6link it (use the bench recipe for 1500 fusings you'll have enough at this point, no need to risk using more) 2. Boots : Movement speed is the absolute priority here, at least 30%. Early on, try to get something nice from the ground then use Rog to get a nice pair with resistances, spell suppression (ideally), life and movement speed. Once you get eldritch embers, use them in absolute priority on the boots to get action speed implicit, the ichors on't have anything really interesting to roll, so don't focus on it. Later on, try to get boots with fractured life t2+ to make some serious crafting, roll suffixes with essences and then use a veiled orb with "suffixes cannot be changed" to unveil movement speed. But since the veiled orb is more important to craft gloves and helm, this step can wait. 3. Gloves : Most important item slot by far, and your absolute priority early on. Absolutely needs the 30% more dot damage essence suffix. Add +2 aoe and +1 proj (or the other way around) from veiled mods that way you get a pseudo 6L for Soulrend (or ED). I recommand tryng to make gloves with essence mod and +1 gem craft as early as yellow maps, the other mods don't really matter, you're just after the extra dps here. Once you reach T16s, consider trying to make proper gloves, ideally on a base with fractured life, use delirium essences an slam if needed to get resistances or spell suppress. Then lock suffixes + veiled orb, benchcraft a conversion mod an unveil, it's around 60% chance to get either +2 aoe or +2 proj. Eldritch modifiers should be chaos dot multi (can switch to chaos multi when unique nearby later on once you feel very comfotable in t17s), and spell suppression. 4. Helmet : early on, either get helmet with +1 aoe/proj to socket ED and get some dps, or go goblin mode with rarity from rare an unique monsters if you want more gold/more uniques. Late game, try to get a base with fracture life, use loathing essences to get resistances/ spell suppress ( you can lock suf + reforge chaos for a garanteed chaos res roll to finish suffixes), then do the prefixes like for the gloves, lock suf + veiled orb, block +1 zombie and unveil +2 aoe/proj. If you want to keep the rarity mod, you can consider multimodding rarity and +1 gem. It's also possible to make the base with recombination and then 50/50 the veiled orb (which has a chance not to unveil what you needed), but veiled orbs are too ennoying to farm for this to be a good option imo. 5. Belt : ideally you want a str roll somewhere on your gear, and the belt is a good place for that. otherwise try to get life+res. I strongly recommand making such belt with recombinators. Early on, stick with something from rog or from the ground, but one you reach t15+, gaher all ilvl84+ stygian vises you can, those are mas farmable with edifice scarabs. alt spam all the belts to get T2+ life, T1+ elemental or chaos resistance, and T2+ strength. all the magic bases need to have exactly one mod (or 2 if you get life + res/str), if the belt has a second mod you don't want, try again or annul. Then combine belts with life with belts with a suffix to make many belts with both life + res/str. then combine those belts to get life +2 suffixes, then combine life +2 suffixes together to get life+3 suffixes. Expect around 1000 alts, 400k gold and 200k dust with around 80 belts to reach your goal. Once you have the belt, use a hunter exalt for very good odds to get %max life or %chaos damage. use catalyst, prismatic or fertile. The abyss jewel should have life + phasing on kill, if you can get stuff like ot whle weilding a shield or shock avoidance (for stormshroud if you wnt to use it) it's even better 6. Rings : Cast spee really makes the build feel good, try to get a T1 cast speed roll on at least one of your two rings, you can make something decent with resistances with harvest reforge caster Late game you have many options, a curse on hit ring can be great (even if you have bane yes) to trigger profane bloom just with soulrend, it helps with map clear. Preffixes are ot important, you only really care about life, but suffixes have a lot of good options, like chaos damage or dot multi (both essence mods, you need to fracture one if you want to get both), recoup (if you get a progenesis), resistances, cast speed. either use a fractured base, and essences with locksuf + caster reforge if needed, or recombine (same process as the belt) if you're not going to use essence mods. 7. Amulet : a good amulet is quite hard to make. Ideally, you want an agate base to satisfy int and str requirements. Mods you're looking for are life, +1 all, +1 chaos, dot multi and resistances You can also get the essence 10% curse effect mod but it might be hard to craft then. To start off, I recommand getting just +1 chaos with whatever usefull mods you happen to get. You can make these with harvest chaos reforge, ideally on a fractured base, but if you don't have one it doesn't really matter. For very late game,, if you want a near perfect amulet, I don't think the recombinator is gonna cut it, you'd need way too many alts to get the +1 all mods. you need a fractured dot multi amulet, then alt spam +1 all, regal and annul the mod you just regaled unless it's a good life tier. if alts are scarces and you have a lot of ivines, use pref cannot be changed + annul (not scour the item turns back blue) to targte annul a suffix, ofc it doesn't work if you regaled a prefix. once you have the base rare with +1 all and fractured dot multi, multimod, lock prefixes and reforge/aug life, if you get a bad tier, try to annul to retry , then multimod and pref cannot be changed again to augment chaos for garanteed +1 chaos finish with a pref lock + veiled orb into benchcraft. You have several annount options, either a life node like golem's blood or discipline and training, or sovereignty if you need more reservation, or acrimony/corruption for damage. 8. Wand (note that you can replace the wand+shield with a cane of unravelling early game if you get one, it's fairly common) Use either a prophecy or profane wand depending on how sooth the cast time on soulrend feels to make something decent early on, you can try to use essence of woe to get cast spee, +1 chaos/all or dot multi and then benchcraft craft dot multi/cat speed. Once you reach red maps, try to recombine on ilvl78 to 80 (not higher) chaos dot multi with cast speed (use essences for cast speed and chaos reforge for chaos dot), once you get both suffixes, Then you can lock suf + reforge chaos to get +1 chaos garanteed and benchcraft chaos damage (with duration if you want too) or spell damage. use a spell Spell damage runecraft, and AoE harvest enchant. For late game, you want to recombine +1 all with T1 dot multi and then attempt to fracture for a 50/50 to get either, do it on ilvl 78 wand, so that the only chaos prefix is +1 chaos. If you get fractured dot multi, either use 3 socket fossils with shuddering/corroded/metalic for 1/12 to get both +2 mod, which will come with a spell damage prefix (most likely low tier). then do the suffixes with chaos reforges until you get a decent chaos dot multi tier and benchcraft cast speed. If you get +1 all fractured, use misery essences (cast speed) until you get dot multi + open suffix, lock suf and reforge chaos and hope you get a good chaos multi tier, if not, try to annu lto retry. once suffixes are done, you can lock suf +reforge (or augment it prevents the 8% chance to fill prefixes which forces a yolo annul) to get +1 chaos garanteed and finish with chaos/spell dmg benchcraft 9. Shield : Crafting a good shield is quite hard, for starters i recommand trying to just get something with life and resistances from rog. Late game, you want a shield with life, +1 chaos , +3% max chaos res and ideally 2% max all resistances, if youcan get spell damage on top you're gucci. early on it doesn't matter, but when you do craft a shield, use a titanium spirit shield base. Only pure ES bases can roll +1 chaos or spell damage. When you reach t16s, and if you already have your Timeless jewel, use the recombinator (same process as the belt) to make a rare shield with 2% max all res, +3% chaos max res and life. Expect to use around 3000 alts to get a few of those mods. Once you got that, multimod, lock suffixes and augment chaos for a garanteed +1 chaos, but 50% chance to lose the life roll. if you succeed, benchcraft a suffix like resistance or curse effect, and hunter slam for garanteed %max life. To make an almost perfect perfect shield, fracture +2max res, essence of greed (life) spam until you get a good spell damage tier (T1 is super rare, i'd settle for t2 or even t3) once you get life + spell damage, annul if needed to have an open prefix and suffix, then pref cannot be changed (multimod if needed to fill suffixes) and augment chaos for garanteed +1 chaos then lock pref + reforge chaos until you get max chaos res ( lowish chances, might fill suffixes which forces a yolo annul). You can also do this whole setup without a fractured base (or with a chaos res fracture), in which case you get an easier time rolling +3 chaos if you use augments after rollling chaos res., which then potentially opens the opportinuty for a veiled orb. Jewels : if you make rare jewels, i recommand farming Heist jewelery chests. Those will very often have fractured jewels which will help you getting something with more than 2 good mods. you might also get a goo amulet/ring fracture while you're at it. If you have a well rolled adorned, you can consider using it with life + chaos multi magic jewels, farming shard of fate (or ritual) is great to get vivid jewels ( vivid is the prefix for life on jewels) to augment Cluster crafting : simple, just spam abberant fossils with 1 socket resonators. it takes around 80 tries to get unholy grace, unwavering evil and wicked pall, but you will get a lot of combinaisons of 3 notables with touch of cruelty which you can use in the meantime. You need the lowest ilvl you can find, like sub ilv 75. ideally 67 or lower, but you can't really farm clusters in the campaign, and unless you get very lucky the only way the get those is to vendor 5to1 higer ilvl clusters with 1 sub 67 cluster to get a new cluster ilvl67 or less. If you manage to get a sub 67 cluster, the odds are like 1/25, which is good, but since 80 tries are easy enough to farm, it's not really worth the trouble of trying to get the right low ilvl cluster. 2.
