There are a lot of nodes to pick from. Before choosing a node to allocate ask yourself do I need damage, more defense, more regeneration?
I put prices on a lot of items. Totally ballpark also geared towards softcore league. Tried to overestimate rather than under.
There are multiple sets inside this pob to guide you from level 1 all the way to t17 maps and uber bosses.
Zero starting pob
Level 40 good up till level 40 (skill tree)
Level 50 etc

You can compare skill trees in the bottom left of pob.
Left side should be your current tree.
It will show nodes you should spec into as green and spec out of as red
Leveling tips:

Skip stragglers, Group mobs into packs (have them chase you for a bit), Use your aoe efficiently to hit more mobs. Unless you are 3-5 shotting rares, skip them. If they are fast enough pull them into packs and damage them as you are damaging the groups. (insert video example)
Get Bestel's Chest for an early quicksilver.
Find the secret room on prison level for more quicksilvers. I like to run 3 quicksilvers. (insert video example)
Leap Slam Frostblink tech - you can use frostblink to cancel out of the later portion of leap slam's animation, making it much faster. (video example)
Ascendency Order:
Tasalio -> Sione -> Tukohama -> Valako
Can also go Sione -> Tukohama first for more damage. Gearing will be tougher but people that are very comfortable with the campaign will not have a problem.

The main focus is ease of gearing and having a smooth as possible zero to hero experience.
Highly recommend farming normal lab for ice nova of frostbolts. If you are on trade league you can just farm it until you have enough currency to buy. Try and aim for the alt gems that are worth the most, sell them buy the gem etc.
Here is a link to help determine what alternate gems are worth. Keep an eye on the league. You might have to adjust it. (settlers)

Having stat problems?
Find the nearest +30 Dexterity Node
Attribute Mastery has some good nodes to solve
Craft Intelligence + Dexterity onto gear.
Level up clarity to the minimum level where mana regen still feels okay.
Punishment should be max level, it is set to 1 in pob for correct dps calculations.
For map mobility consider using another enkindled quicksilver. Also frostblink of wintry blast setup
If you feel like you are getting wooped by ailments, or chilled ground is too annoying, can run stormshroud. Craft avoid shock with essence on boots, roll eldiritch currency to avoid shock / ailments.
The most dangerous ailment is shock. Use shock panetheon before swapping over. Chill is also really annoying. Can get chill immune on boots.
If your body plate has no life modifiers, spec into the life mastery that gives 15% life.
Other gem options: (main skill)
If you want more aoe / map clear. socket in increased aoe to replace one of the damage links for your main skill.
If you want even more aoe socket intensify as well
If mana costs feel too steep socket inspiration . Can also unallocate forethought and preceding node on passive tree
If elemental overload isn't proccing enough drop controlled destruction for another support
When jumping from Red Maps -> Hero or further keep in mind that some items offer a relatively small increase for a very large price increase.
mana problems, skill cost too much, taking too much damage to mana. need more recover / regen @manacost @mana cost
Look for these mods on clarity watchers eye
mana on skill use
mana recovery rate
get a pair of nexus gloves
use inspiration in gem links
get rid of the increased mana cost nodes on passive tree (forethought)

frost blink of wintry blast setup is mostly just for map traversal. can trim some of the links in there or just drop it entirely
can automate frostbolt with kitavas thirst. Going to have to adjust some gear and skills depending on which setup

This is campaign / early maps. I don't recommend picking up generic rares (yellow) anymore after this point. Use a loot filter to filter them out. (insert loot filter)
