The Gear for leveling and early progression is Life/Resists and Strenght/Int. anything else is luxury at that point. it is meant to guide on what to strive for.
Playing in Softcore you can ignore Chaos resistance until T14-T16 maps.

!!!!!Those Rings are insanely expensive!!!!!
Grab the -mana cost craft yourself from Elreon Rings (Betrayal), Spam Stenght/Int Essences or Reforge Life via Harvest until you have 1 res, open Prefix and Life. Those will last for a while until you can upgrade.

Always upgrade your bow while leveling - pick up new base types off the ground or from the latest act's weapon vendor
and use any flat elemental damage Essence you come across,If you have open Prefix craft on another flat elemental damage with Crafting bench

Allocating Primal Spirit and chugging your mana flask every 10 seconds ensures you have enough Mana to use all of your Manaforged Triggers (your lv 1 mana flask will last you until you get leech)

2 Iron Rings and Split arrow can almost full clear the Legion in the Ledge Zone, use it to farm up if you need a new bow or resistance rings.

Do Merciless Labyrinth BEFORE killing Kitava (you will probably spend some time there)

CRAFTING

BOW (Spine,Ivory,Bone Base)

1. Depending on budget/SSF luck Grab either fractured +1 or +2 Arrows or go without it for now
2. Deafening Wrath (Wrath is best, can use Anger or Hatred) Essence Spam until a second Elemental Damage T1-2 rolls (T3 if desperate) and open Prefix AND Suffix
3. Craft on Third Elemental Damage and keep it for now until you have Currency to buy or Craft Upgrade.
4. Craft on Prefixes Cannot be changed
5. Harvest Reforge the remaining Element (if fire and Lightning) is on bow ---> Refore Cold) Hope for T1,T2 or T3 Element Dmg and Open Suffix
6. Craft Prefix cannot Change  ->Annul other Suffixes
7. Exalt/Annul/Recraft Prefix cannot change until you hit T1/T2 Attack speed
8. !!!!! GIGA EXPENSIVE Skip reccomended!!!!!Exalt/Annul/Recraft Prefix cannot change until you hit +1 Arrow, +2 Arrow
9.Craft on Hybrid Crit &Attributes.

Average Cost 100-250 Essences and 8 Divs on average! and will yield a ~1100EDPS Bow.
