Things you need to know As much as this is a Boneshatter guide, the entire act progression is done on Sunder Any weapon + Magic/Rare/Unique Rustic Sash + Whestone -> weapon with %increased physical damage (40-49%, 50-64%, 65-84%) Usually used on these weapons while leveling (unless you get a good rare of similar level): Woodsplitter (lvl 13), Double Axe (lvl 23), Shadow Axe (lvl 33), Timber Axe (lvl 41), Labrys (lvl 49) Any weapon with flat physical damage (Magic or Rare) + Granite flask + Orb of Augmentation -> Weapon with flat phys (one tier higher than before) You will need mana leech source when you are entering maps (ideally on a Viridian jewel, but it can appear on rings/gloves and amulet) Wildwood - I don't recommend doing wildwood on this build early on as you will probably not have enough empty sockets to properly utilize it, I would only start doing it in white maps after obtaining decent chaos res and taking either Tinctures (Warden of Maji) or charms (Primalist) if you already have some decent ones ------------- Start by muling 1-2 duelist characters - kill Hillock, check vendors - we are looking for Rustic Sash, 1x Iron Ring + 1x Coral Ring and GGR 3 link for Splitting Steel, try to also get RRG and RRR for later if possible Try to grab a Scale Vest if your links aren't in your body armour Act 1 (Pre-Sunder) Splitting Steel + Chance to Bleed + Faster Attacks (Chance to poison until level 8) Ancestral Protector + Maim War Banner Frostblink (Level 8/9 after allocating Versatility unless you randomly have gear with Int on it - DON'T level this gem) Leap slam + Faster Attacks + (optional Momentum) Act 1 (Sunder switch) Sunder + Chance to Bleed + Ruthless (or Faster Attacks) Ancestral Protector + Maim Leap slam + Faster Attacks + (optional Momentum) Frostblink War Banner Blood and Sand (ALWAYS keep in blood stance) Intimidating Cry Act 2 Sunder + Melee Physical Damage + Ruthless (or Close Combat) Ancestral Protector + Maim Leap slam + Faster Attacks + (optional Momentum) Frostblink War Banner Blood and Sand Intimidating Cry Herald of Ash Blood Rage (need dex on gear, should be Jade Amulet - DON'T level this gem) I suggest helping Alira with the intention to respec it way later (level 90 or so), allows for easier gearing and makes mana more bearable Act 3 Sunder + Melee Physical Damage + Fortify + (Ruthless or Close Combat) Ancestral Warchief + Maim Leap slam + Faster Attacks + (optional Momentum) Frostblink War Banner Blood and Sand Intimidating Cry Determination Blood Rage Replace Ancestral Protector for Ancestral Warchief (even better if you get vaal version) Replace Herald of Ash for Determination Have to do library for Fortify Do Normal lab before Dominus and take Unbreakble (make sure you have decent body armour) Act 4 Sunder + Fist of War + Melee Physical Damage + Fortify (until you get Steadfast and fortify mastery, then switch to Brutality or Close Combat) Ancestral Warchief + Maim Leap slam + Faster Attacks + (optional Momentum) Frostblink War Banner Blood and Sand Intimidating Cry Determination Blood Rage Cast when damage Taken + Molten Shell (if you have spare socekts) Level to 41 and do the weapon recipe for Timber Axe if you don't have a good rare weapon before Piety and Harvest for safety Make sure you switch your add Fist of War to your Sunder links These links stay all the way to Act 10 until our Boneshatter Map enter + Merc Lab Boneshatter switch Boneshatter of Complex Trauma - generally better for mapping than normal Boneshatter, if you are willing to farm it in Merciless Lab you should - for full uptime single target on Complex Trauma use Multistrike (only relevant if you are doing actual bosses) If you use Complex Trauma, you might want to keep it on lower level (14 or 16) until you get more physical mitigation Boneshatter + Ruthless + Brutality + Close Combat + ((Melee Physical Damage + Impale)) --- Use Lifetap if you don't have source of mana leech until you get one Cast when Damage Taken + Molten Shell (level 10) + Lifetap + Vulnerability (level 5) Leap Slam + Faster Attacks + Lifetap + Frostblink Ancestral Warchief + Ancestral Protector + Maim + Multitotem support --- If you have Vaal Ancestral Warchief I recommend not linking Multitotem to it Determination Pride Ancestral Cry War Banner Blood Rage If you only have 4 sockets on every piece and no 5 socket armour/weapon, drop Maim from your totem setup Alternative curse setup: Use Warlord's Mark (level 5) instead of Vulnerability and put Berserker in your build but it does require one additional socket and an extra button to press Early flasks Quartz, Granite, Jade, Quicksilver suffixes priority: effect of curses reduction -> effect of shock reduction -> increased armour -> attack speed Pantheon - use Garukhan before 100% shock avoidance
