Build made by Tatiantel2 If you have any questions/suggestions - feel free to ask in chat on Twitch (streaming almost every day): https://www.twitch.tv/tatiantel2 ------ IMBUED GEMS SYSTEM IN PATCH 3.28 ------ The league mechanic in patch 3.28 Mirage will provide special Coins, which we can use on lvl 20 Gem in order to corrupt them and add a random lvl 1 Support Gem of a certain color. Here's the list of lvl 1 Support Gems that are good for making Imbued version of Kinetic Fussilade: Green (12 good / 36 total): - Multiple Projectiles (23% more DMG); - Greater Multiple Projectiles (21% more DMG); - Greater Volley (20% more DMG) - replace lvl 20 Greater Volley with lvl 20 Multiple Projectiles; - Hypothermia (20% more DMG) - make sure your Wand has flat Cold damage for Chilling enemies; - Volley (19% more DMG) - replace lvl 20 Greater Volley with lvl 20 Greater Multiple Projectiles; - Point Blank (~up to 30% more DMG) - this support makes totems deal more dmg when they are close to an enemy, and less damage when they're too far away; - Culling Strike (~11% more DMG); - Swift Affliction (Quality of Life) - it gives less duration, so it's possible to remove some reduced duration from tree or get more Attack Speed; - Faster Attacks (~5-11% more DMG) - depends on how much Attack Speed you already have; - Momentum (~4-8% more DMG) - depends on how much Attack Speed you already have; - Faster Projectiles (~2% more DMG, and QoL); - Blind - can remove Accuracy from 1 Gear piece. Blue (6 good / 30 total): - Increased Critical Damage (~24% more DMG) - replace lvl 20 Increased Critical Damage with lvl 20 Multiple Projectiles; - Power Charge On Critical (24% more DMG); - Concentrated Effect (~23% more DMG) - replace lvl 20 Concentrated Effect with lvl 20 Multiple Projectiles; - Elemental Focus (~14% more DMG) - we lose Shock, so not that much extra dmg; - Lightning Penetration (~10% more DMG) - make sure Wand has high flat Lightning dmg roll; - Increased Critical Strikes - can remove Crit from Wand. Red (6 good / 22 total): - Elemental Damage with Attacks (20% more DMG); - Cruelty (15% more DMG); - Damage on Full Life (up to 20% more DMG) - need to spec in Life Mastery on Passive Tree "You count as on Full Life while at 90% of Maximum Life or above", when you are on Full Life - your Totems do more damage; - Volatility (~10-15% more DMG); - Fire Penetration (~10% more DMG) - make sure Wand has high flat Fire dmg roll; - Inspiration (~10% more DMG) - bad uptime of Inspiration Charges from lvl 1 Support. ------ HOW KINETIC FUSILLADE WORKS ------ Kinetic Fusillade doesn't shoot projectiles immediately after attacking with it, it stores projectiles for a duration, and after duration is over projectiles get fired. If you (or Totem) attack with KF again, it will refresh the duration of projectiles, delaying the moment projectiles get fired even more. In order to avoid this delay, we scale Reduced (Less) Skill Effect Duration. It makes projectiles being fired sooner after we finish the attack. So, the Projectile Delay needs to be shorter than the Duration of Attack Animation. This way we will never refresh the duration of the Projectile Delay, and projectiles will be fired after each attack non-stop. This requires proper balance of Attack Speed and Reduced (Less) Skill Effect Duration in the build. We use Less Duration Support, and Reduced Duration cluster of passives of Passive Tree. Also Ballista Totem Support provides a 50% Less Attack Speed multiplier, which actually works in our favour here, because it makes it easier to balance the Attack Speed / Duration ratio. PoB can calculate how much Attack speed is fine to have depending on how much duration scaling we have and how many projectiles we shoot per attack. In PoB go to "Calcs" -> choose Kinetic Fusillade Skill at the top (if it's not chosen already), and then in "Skill type-specific Stats" find "Max Effective APS". In this build at Level 95 tree we have Max Effective APS = 3.25, while our actual "Attack Rate" of Kinetic Fusillade is 2.94 (can find it on the left under Average Damage). That mean even if you'll have some extra Attack Speed on Gear (Wand), or Extra Projectiles (Amulet Annoint, Rain os Splinters Jewels, extra Support Gem), we will still be fine on the Attack Speed / Duration ratio. ------ PLAYSTYLE / SKILLS TO USE ------ Mapping. Place KF Totem, go 2 steps further, place another Totem and go 2 steps further and so on. KF Totems have very good clear due to high range and multiple chains on projectiles. Shield Charge between packs. Against tankier Rare Monsters - after placing all KF Totems, spam Frenzy for a bit. Bossing. Against tougher enemies the "rotation" of skills is as follows: 1. Place all Kinetic Fusillade Totems; 2. Attack with Frenzy 3 times (generate 3 Frenzy Charges + Curse with Cast on Crit); 3. Cast Arcanist Brand - it will cast Flame Wall and Purifying Flame for additional damage and defence; Re-attack with frenzy every ~7 seconds, re-cast Arcanist Brand every ~5 seconds. ------ LEVELING ------ In "Tree" section at the bottom you can select different trees for different Levels to see which passives to take at each stage. In "Skills" section you can see which skills to use at each Level. As shown is Skills section we level with Holy Flame Totem and Flame Wall, this combination of skills can clear early acts pretty easily. Adding Wave of Conviction Mines as early as possible (level 16) is recommended. At Level 18 we take Ancestral Bond from Passive Tree, it will make it so that we can't do damage with Rolling Magma anymore, so at Level 18 we definetly need to swap Rolling Magma to Wave of Conviction Mines. Switching to Kinetic Fusillade Totems - at around Level 44, once we get Reduced Duration cluster on Passive Tree. !! Pre-level these Gems in advance: Anger (lvl 24, Act 3 town), Wrath (lvl 24, Act 3 town), Ballista Support (lvl 31, Library), Kinetic Fusillade (lvl 31, Library), Less Duration Support (lvl 31, Library). Level up gems in weapon-swap first while still playing Holy Flame Totems. When switching to Kinetic Fusillade Totems, try to get some additional flat damage to attacks on gear (Wand, Gloves, Rings, Amulet). In many cases there is a bench-craft option available. Even with almost no flat damage from Gear it's still gonna be ok, since we get a lot of flat damage from Auras - Wrath and Anger (again, make sure to pre-level Auras before swap). At Level 44 we already have some Reservation Efficiency from Passive Tree, so we can use Anger and Wrath Auras together. Use low-lvl Precision Aura at this point (buy from Library), so that we have enough Mana for placing Totems. At Level 54 we take Mana Mastery with extra Reservation Efficiency from Passive Tree, so now we have enough room for leveling Precision further. Pay attention to which Skills we use with Arcanist Brand at different Levels - they change. ------ LEVELING UNIQUES------ Good uniques items to use for leveling: Doedre's Tenure (Gloves) Prismweave (Belt) Wake of Destruction (Boots) Sacrificial Heart (Amulet) Tasalio's Sign (Ring) Replica Tasalio's Sign (Ring) Build made by Tatiantel2 If you have any questions/suggestions - feel free to ask in chat on Twitch (streaming almost every day): https://www.twitch.tv/tatiantel2
