PLAY As you spend mana, Indigon (helmet) ramps your damage and your skill cost. This is why we need the instant mana leech on the weapon. To ramp quickly, use Arcane Cloak. This increases your damage through it's own effect, and increases the cost of your Molten Strike, so you can quickly go to max Indigon effect. More than half of your damage comes from the magma balls returning. Use your phasing to stand on top of whatever you want to kill, they will get hit by all the returning balls. I prefer Lightning Strike for mapping and Molten Strike for bossing (or titanic stuff). They are interchangeable, only need to swap gems. When the mana costs are ramped too high, use Lavianga's Spirit (potion). During the effect of this potion your skills don't cost mana. Because of Indigon it also replenishes HP, so you can also use it as a Life Flask. When a boss (Nightmare of Lycia...) is killing you, it's probably because of a large physical attack hit. Consider speccing "don't panic yet" in your ascendancy instead of "we know all". Note that PoB default damage for max hit is a spell, so the spell suppression cap severely overestimates your actual phys max hit versus attacks. (small details) You can substitute Enhance for Brutality in the Shield Charge / Frost Blink link when there is no elemental reflect. After a fight it may happen that your mana costs are ramped very high and a few shield charges will drain your entire pool. Mana leech from shield charge can be useful then. You can put Magna Eclipsis (shield) on weapon swap in bossfights to tank elemental slams. Magna Eclipsis might be a better shield for bossing then The Surrender. But you typically don't have trouble bossing unless in extremely juiced titanic T17's. It can still be useful, depending on your mechanics, e.g. during searing exarch ball phase. You have to shuffle the gem links a bit when you do (cause aura/automation toggle).
