---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- My Personal Regex I use for Rolling T17s/16.5s and 8-Mod T16s ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "!eir m|o al|'v|nsec|om$|ur$|rune|vola|wb" Relevant Mods: - Ele Reflect - Ele Reflect murders your merc VERY quickly if you don't convert a whole bunch of his damage or give him anti reflect ring. You can do either, if you convert a ton of his damage he dies a lot less but still can. - Reduced Max Res - Technically doable but massively reduces our survivability, not worth. - Players/Minions Deal no Damage for 3/10 Seconds - Technically doable but annoying. - 3% Reduced Action Speed per Skill Used Recently - Don't want to be slow - Rare/Unique monsters remove 5% of Life per Hit - This kills our merc instantly on certain bosses. - Monsters cannot be Leeched from - we have LGoH but leech is still a huge amount of recovery for us. - Area has patches of Consecrated Ground - Technically doable but only on non-tanky maps. Will make non-moving bosses immortal unless you swap the mark mastery. - Reduced Armour/Block - we are a block build now, this disables us. I don't want to deal with this garbage section even if it is doable: - Runes of the Searing Exarch - Volatile Cores - Bloodstained Sawblades Note that this doesn't mean every map that doesn't have these mods is doable, if you roll a map with %Max Life, ES gained of Life, Reduced Crit Damage Taken you will still take eons to kill anything. Check your T17s/16.5s before running even after the regex. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- What content can/can't the build do? ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Can - T17/16.5 Juiced Maps (Abomination Boss can kill your merc pretty easily cause of Shavronne) - 8-Mod Corrupted Farm - Most League Mechanics that want big clear Can't (Or Shouldn't, it is possible to do just not great) - Uber Bossing Haven't tested but maybe - Heist - Delve ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mercenary Info ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- You want a STR/INT Merc with Wrath Aura, there are 2 options: Fallen Reverend: - Use 2x Wands /w Wrath Effect T1 (you can awakener orb these with conv to chaos for ele reflect maps) - Wrath is mandatory, try to get either Zealotry (conc ground, use a quicksilver instead of sulphur) or Battlemage's Cry (Crit) if you can. - Summon probably doesn't matter Storming Zealot: - 2nd Best most likely - Use Staff /w Wrath Effect T1 - Wrath is Mandatory, nothing else really matters Gear: You want ABSOLUTELY NO POSITIVE LIGHTNING RES. Weapons: - Crusader Staff or Wands - Alt roll until good roll T1 Wrath Effect and then finish if you want, doesn't matter. - Could slam with Chaos Convert Awakener's Orb if you really want to spend $ Rings: - Get as much negative lightning resistance as you can and no other bad mods. You want them to have as much positive chaos/fire/cold res as they can and life/es. Gloves: - as much Physical to Cold/Lightning Conversion as you can get and then other resist/life/good stats. Boots: - sapped or brittle ground is good, as much resists/life/good stats as you can get Uniques: - Perquil's Toe - Lucky is good for lightning, corrupt with Wrath Effect and anoint with something to inc Aura AoE - Immortal Flesh - Get a 25% and use res quality for -30% all res - Crown of the Tyrant - Crazy expensive but a good damage boost. - Doryani's Prototype - the whole reason to use this merc, BIG damage. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- How to Transition from the Previous Build ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Obtain Svalinn, Impossible Escape, and the clusters before trying to swap, make sure you're level 97 or so. After this order of importance is: - Replica Reckless Defense (or normal, doesn't matter a ton with god power) - Aspect of the Crab Ring (check crafting notes) - Watcher's Eye with 2 good damage mods (or anything useful tbh, just get 2 good mods) - Rational Doctrine (optional) - gives you some crit and brings you to positive life regen with a flask or Zealotry on the merc you have to have Int as your highest stat tho. - Crown of the Tyrant (optional) - probably not worth it but if you have one or want more damage it is a good boost. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Crafting The Gear ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Wand: Fracture got giga expensive so here is a way to make one with no fracture - Add Imbued Wands of any rarity to your filter and pick up a ton of them - Alteration Roll T2+ Spell Damage - Use Deafening Essences of Wrath until you get a wand with no other Prefixes - Unpredictable Recombinate together (this may take a ton of tries) until you get Spell Damage and the Essence mod and an open suffix. - Craft Prefixes Cannot Be Changed and use a Veiled Chaos Orb hoping for a Veiled Prefix and at least 1 open suffix. - If you hit Prefix, it should be guaranteed to be Ele Pen - If you hit a Suffix and have an open slot craft Damage With Charges and then unveil hoping for attack speed or crit. - Try to salvage the wand as best you can but lots of things can go wrong here and you may need to loop back to get a prefix veiled. - Either way clean the extra mods through Prefix Cant be Changed -> Scour or in a bad suffix case Cannot Roll Attacks -> annul and hope you don't hit the Spell Damage roll. You can also just clear the suffixes completely and try again if you didn't fill the 3rd prefix. - Craft 3 Crafted Modifiers -> Attack Speed -> Crit/Stats and be done - Obtain ilvl 84/85 Imbued Wand with Fractured Spell Damage or Hybrid Spell Damage (I went for T2 Hybrid cause cheap) - Use Deafening Essences of Wrath until you hit T1 Attack Speed and are able to isolate it - For anything that isnt an attack mod use Cannot Roll Attacks -> Annul, might take a few tries. - For anything that is an attack mod, annul and pray - Craft In Order - 3 Crafted Modifiers - Crit/Stats - Spell Damage + Gained as Chaos if Fractured Hybrid Spell Damage - Penetrate Ele Resist if Fractured Pure Spell Damage Higher end wand if you want it will be a much more expensive fracture that goes something like - ilvl 84/85 Attack Speed T1 Fracture - Deafening Essence of Wrath until isolated T1/2 Spell Damage (will take a very long time) - Prefixes cant be changed -> veiled chaos and hope for a prefix to take ele pen, if suffix hope for crit chance - Craft the last mod you're missing and slam an exalt. You can also Ladder craft with Recombinators but if you're going to do that you don't need me to tell you how. Chestpiece: - Coloring the chestpiece is the hardest part, you can use the bench socket trick to get proper colors, you can also go for 2-3 white and then use the bench socket trick to get the final colors. Black Morrigan to color it. Rings: Normal Ring - Obtain ilvl 84+ Elder Amethyst Ring - Harvest Chaos reforge until you hit T1 Elder LGoH and chaos res + any other good mods, craft what you're missing. These are hard, take what you can get and try to fill in stuff elsewhere. Aspect of the Crab Ring - Obtain ilvl84+ Elder Amethyst Ring - Harvest Life Reforge until you hit T1 Elder LGoH, an acceptable Life roll (60+), and an open suffix. - Prefix Cannot Be Changed -> Veiled Chaos looking for 2 Open suffixes (prefix cant be changed annul if you get a good result) - Block one of the minimum charges -> unveil for Ele/Chaos res - Slam lvl 30 Aspect of the Crab with beasts - Craft a last resist if you have room. Helmet / Gloves / Boots: - Just buy what you need, you can probably craft these with a T1 Resist Fracture and some eldritch currency if you want but it is most likely not worth it. Abyss Jewels: - Obtain Fractured Added Lightning Damage to Wand Attacks with the highest roll you can reasonably afford (normal added lightning damage to attacks is also okay if thats cheaper but it is worse) - Harvest Lightning reforge until you get the other lightning damage mod, Life, and a 4th good mod. This can be difficult to get the exact mods you need, if you get T1 avoid shock just keep it if you have 1 more good mod. Timeless Jewel: - Get as many +Fortify nodes as you can, Strength, Double Damage, Resist are all good as well to make things easier. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Random Stuff to Remember ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I'll add to this as more people have problems or problems come up - Only level up your Corrupting Fever to take just over HALF of your total health. - Swap to Barrage Support for difficult Bosses, replace Returning Projectiles - You don't need the exact gear in the PoB, this is my gear, get your stats covered however you can. - I'm dying / build sucks - Are you doing any of the mods/content I said not to? are you SURE you have everything in the pob? are you pressing Corrupting Fever constantly? if you still think something is up im gonna have to hit you with the unfortunate *skill issue*, if you really think something is wrong hit me up on discord, I'll answer questions as I can but please look through the pob first. - My Merc died, I do no damage, what do I do? - stop rolling 5% life on hit or leave the map, suffer through zdps if you want. He shouldn't be dying almost ever. - Why are we using Spellslinger Tornado? - it makes Kinetic Blast double dip with 1 hit and 1 aoe. - I'm lagging and my computer is dying - Swap Sacred Wisps for Awakened Added Lightning, its worse but way less laggy.
