Guide by Allie https://www.twitch.tv/Allliee_ https://www.youtube.com/c/Alliee I stream on Twitch every single day! If you have a question feel free to come by and ask! >>>>>PLEASE READ THIS<<<<< I have a Leveling Run from Level 1 all the way to Act 10 which will hold your hand and show you what to do on YouTube. If you are new to the game or would like to level along with me, you can find it here. Leveling Run - https://youtu.be/Uteo-J8ED1o >>>>>PLEASE READ THIS<<<<< Mapping Regex - "!ry ra|on,|rses|o al|r li|gen|re he" Act 1 Look for Movement Speed boots from Tarkleigh & use the default Sword you start with. Vendor Armor Scraps or Whetstones for more Scrolls of Wisdom. Look for GGB or GGR on any Non-Weapon from the Vendors before going to the Coast. If there is no GGB or GGR, then look for a GB 2-Link at a minimum as we want to replace the starting Sword at Level 4. You should also look for any item with RRR or RRG on it. If it is a Weapon, it must be a Mace or Axe. Ideally you should not get RRR or RRG on your Weapon or you will not be able to upgrade it. >>>>Please make sure you have 2 Mana Flasks before Brutus and Merveil or you will have a bad time with mana<<<< Act 1 Regex (shows 4-Links, GGB, GGR RRR, RRG, GB, MS Boots, +1 Fire Wands & Fire DoT Multi Weapons): "-\w-.-|g-g-b|g-g-r|g-b-g|b-g-g|r-r-g|r-[rg]-r|g-r-r|Runn|rint|me Sh|Earn|s:.+(mac|ax)" Copy this and then paste it into the search box on Gear Vendors to highlight these things if they have them. If you happen to find a +1 Fire Wand or a Fire DoT Multi Weapon, you should try to buy it and hold onto it until Act 2 when we swap to Righteous Fire. >>PLEASE READ THIS<< You will need 2 Orbs of Transmutation by the end of Act 1 to buy Sunder and Intimidating Cry. Please make sure to pick up as many Blue Items as possible as you progress through Act 1 to then sell to the Vendors in town for Transmutation Shards. You will get Transmutation Shards for selling UNIDENTIFIED Blue Items and Alteration Shards for selling them Identified. Do not Identify them unless they are Boots or a Two-Handed Weapon, looking for Movement Speed or a Weapon upgrade. Level 1 You do not need any of the skills offered from Tarkleigh at Level 1. Just check the shop for any items mentioned above and go to The Coast. Try to get Spectral Throw to Level 2 in The Coast. This will make the Mud Flats a bit easier. Spectral Throw will throw a copy of your Weapon forward. This will then reach a maximum distance, spin a few times, then come back to you. Try to line up enemies behind you so you can hit them on the way forward and back while you keep moving forward. On Bosses try to either have them be against a wall or try to be far enough away to have the Spectral Weapon Throw stop right on top of them. This will greatly increase your Boss DPS. This should only be required for Brutus and you can ignore it for anything else. Your experience in Act 1 with Spectral Throw is completely dependent on how much Added Damage you can find on your gear. Due to this, finding Iron Rings from Nessa or on the ground along with finding any Added Damage to Attacks on your Rings/Gloves/Weapon is very important. You do not care what type it is, Physical/Fire/Cold/Lightning are all as good as each other. Make sure to keep any Iron Rings you do find for Act 2 as we will need them for a Vendor Recipe. Level 4 After the Mud Flats are over and you are in The Submerged Passage, teleport back to The Coast waypoint and go get the Medicine Chest from the Tidal Island. Take Frostblink from Tarkleigh. Take Volley from Nessa. If you found a GGR item, you should buy Chance to Bleed from Nessa. Buy Sniper's Mark from Nessa. Buy an Iron Ring if there is one available for 3 Wisdom Scrolls and if not, buy a Rustic Sash. You should come back and buy these as soon as you can if you can't. Make sure to sell all of your White Items, you should be able to afford the Sash at least. Link Spectral Throw - Prismatic Burst - Volley or Spectral Throw - Volley - Chance to Bleed based on if you have GGB or GGR. Leave Frostblink at Level 1, you can dismiss the Level-Up notification by Right-Clicking on the +. If you do not have space for Volley, put it in an open Green Socket to gain experience until you can. Volley will help quite a lot with your clear. Use Sniper's Mark on Bosses. You can use it on Rares too if needed. Use Frostblink on cooldown as your Movement Skill. You should go to Bestel and Gamble your Gold on a Two-Handed Axe. You should have enough Gold to try this one or two times based on luck with Gold drops. If you don't have enough, just go kill a few monsters until you can and come back to Gamble. Ideally one of these Axes rolls with an Added Damage Prefix on them. If not use the one that rolled % Physical or if not, Accuracy. You will get a guaranteed Essence from the Dweller. You can now start dropping the next tier of Two-Handed Weapons: Tribal Mauls and Longswords at 8 and Jade Choppers at 9. The Loot Filter will highlight these and you should use the Essence that the Dweller dropped on one of these and then use it over your Weapon as this is likely better. If you get another Essence from a random monster as your level, you should use them on your Weapons to try and get an upgrade. Once we swap to Righteous Fire in Act 2, they become useless. Level 8 Once you get to the Prison, you should take the Waypoint back to Town. Take Added Lightning Damage from Nessa if you have a GBB and have not found either GGB or GGR. Link Added Lightning Damage to Spectral Throw - Prismatic Burst. If you have properly set up Spectral Throw - Prismatic Burst - Volley or Spectral Throw - Volley - Chance to Bleed you can skip this. Buy a second Mana Flask and upgrade your other one if you have not done so yet. Having two good Mana Flasks will make Brutus a lot easier. Make sure to start looking for RRG or RRR to swap to Sunder at Level 12. After Killing Brutus Buy Intimidating Cry from Nessa and slot it into a Socket to gain experience. You can always come back for this at Level 12 if needed. Take Leap Slam from Tarkleigh. You should now use Leap Slam alongside Frostblink for even faster mobility. You can press Frostblink as you are about to land with Leap Slam. This will cancel the rest of Leap Slam's animation. Keep Leap Slam at Level 1 as it does not gain any extra speed from additional levels and it only increases Mana costs. Level 12 Be on the lookout for BBB for the Righteous Fire swap in Act 2. BB will also work just fine. You will also need a second BB on top of that for Scorching Ray. You now start seeing Sceptres drop through the Loot Filter, you should pick them up and check them for Spell Damage, Fire Damage, Fire Damage Over Time or +1 Fire/Spells. Once you make it to Merveil's Cavern, take the Waypoint back to Town. Buy Sunder, Chance to Bleed and Ruthless from Nessa. If you do not have a RRR and found RRG, then buy Momentum over Ruthless and use it until you find RRR. Link Sunder - Chance to Bleed - Ruthless You can now get rid of Spectral Throw - Prismatic Burst - Volley along with Sniper's Mark. Keep Frostblink and Leap Slam as your mobility skills. You should spend all of your Gold gambling at Tarkleigh for Two-Handed Axes. The hope is that you end up getting a new Axe with a good Physical Damage roll on it. While Added Elemental Damage is not useless, it is going to be weaker than getting a Weapon with Added Physical and % Physical on it. Buy Vitality and Faster Attacks from Nessa if you have 2 extra Orbs of Transmutation. Socket Vitality when you can and activate the Aura. Link Leap Slam - Faster Attacks, this will make you a lot faster. You should go to Nessa and buy 2 Iron Rings if you do not have 2 yet. You should hold onto these until you swap to Righteous Fire in Act 2 as we will be doing a Vendor Recipe with them. Lastly, buy a Rustic Sash from Nessa if you can afford it and do not have one yet. You should now start pressing Intimidating Cry. This will give you a buff making the next few Sunders deal extra damage. For clearing you should be fine with just Sunder by itself but on Rares and Bosses, use Intimidating Cry on cooldown. Act 2 BANDITS: Help Alira, +15% Elemental Resistance is too good for Leaguestart. Later, we will swap to Eramir for +1 Passive Point. The swap to Eramir will happen once you have swapped to Impending Doom and have gotten to Tier 16 Maps. To swap to Eramir in Maps, simply vendor 20 Orbs of Regret and 1 Onyx Amulet together and you will receive a Book. Wiki Page - https://www.poewiki.net/wiki/Deal_with_the_Bandits Our goal in Act 2 is to get to Level 18 which is the point where you will pick up Arsonist and the Regenerate 1 Life per 1% Fire Resistance Fire Mastery. >>Please Read This<< You will need 1 Orb of Alteration and 2 Orbs of Transmutation to swap over to Righteous Fire. Keep picking up Blue Items like before to vendor for both currency types. Identify them for Alteration Shards and sell them Unidentified for Transmutation Shards. You will also be REQUIRED to have 75% Fire Resistance to be able to live Righteous Fire. This will be done through the Passive Tree pathing and 2 Ruby Rings. These Ruby Rings can either be bought from the Act 1 or Act 2 Vendors or can be created out of Iron Rings. More on this below but, make sure to keep 2 Iron Rings or be on the lookout for them if you do not have 2. >>Please Read This<< To get the Skill Gem you must go to the right side of Act 2 and finish the Chambers of Sin. It will then be purchasable from Yenna in Town. That means we will need to clear at least half of Act 2 with Sunder. At Level 12 you unlock the next Mace base, a Mallet and at Level 13 the next Axe base, a Woodsplitter. You should be on the lookout for these if you have an extra Essence and you should use it on either of them as soon as you get one. This will likely end up being better than your current Weapon and it will make getting to Righteous Fire a bit faster. Level 18 After completing the Chambers of Sin and turning in the quest to Gruest in Town you will be able to buy Righteous Fire from Yenna for 1 Orb of Alteration. You MUST wait until you have both the Arsonist node on the Passive Tree along with the Regenerate 1 Life per 1% Fire Resistance Fire Mastery. You will also be required to have 2 Ruby Rings as mentioned. If you have two, you can simply put both on and be ready to swap. If you have Iron Rings, go back to Act 1 and buy 2 Red Skill Gems (dont buy Red Supports) from Nessa that cost 1 Wisdom Scroll each. You can then Vendor one Iron Ring and one Red Skill Gem to be given back a Ruby Ring. With that, it is time to swap over to Righteous Fire. If you do not have enough Intelligence to socket in Righteous Fire, buy a Lapis Amulet from the Act 1 or Act 2 Vendors. Go to Act 1 and buy Efficacy from Nessa. Link Righteous Fire - Efficacy Buy Scorching Ray and a second Efficacy from Nessa if you can afford it. Link Scorching Ray - Efficacy If you have one Orb of Transmutation left over, you should go to your Hideout and use the Crafting Bench to craft at least one Fire Resistance Suffix on your gear. This will give you a big chunk of Regeneration and it should feel quite good to have. Ideally craft this on 2-3 items if possible. If you have an extra Orb of Alteration, go to Act 2 and buy Summon Skitterbots from Yenna. Socket these wherever possible. They will provide a Shocking Aura for extra DPS. You can now remove Sunder - Chance to Bleed - Ruthless and Intimidating Cry. Keep Vitality, Frostblink and Leap Slam. Buy two Sceptres from any of the Act 1 and Act 2 Vendors if you do not already have some and replace your Axe with them. All you have to do now is simply turn on Righteous Fire at the start of every zone and then just spam Leap Slam and Frostblink to get through the story as fast as possible. You should channel Scorching Ray when fighting any Rares or Bosses. Outside of a few changes in Act 3 and Act 4, your build is now online and you can enjoy a very fast and smooth time to Act 10. You MUST keep your Fire Resistance at 75% at all times. If not, you will die to Righteous Fire. Keep in mind you can always go back to the Crafting Bench in your Hideout and craft more Fire Resistance on your gear as needed. Going over 75% is a good thing as each 1% no matter if it is over the 75% cap, will still give you 1 Life Regeneration making you a lot tankier. Weapon & Gear Stats Acts 2-10 First, you should always look for Boots with Movement Speed on them. Check the Gear Vendor in each Town whenever you have to go back and use the Regex to quickly find any. You can always use Gold to Gamble for Boots if needed. If you have Boots, then use your Gold to Gamble for Sceptres as needed. On all of your Gear you are just looking for Life and Resistances. It does not matter what Base you use but if possible, try to use Armour Bases. Try to use a Body Armour with no Life rolls on it. This will allow you to pick up the 15% increased Life Mastery which is significantly stronger. Righteous Fire directly scales off of how much Life you have which not only means it will make you tankier but, it will also increase your DPS. Lastly, on your Weapons you are looking for Sceptres with % Fire Damage, +1 Fire/Spells, Damage Over Time or Fire Damage Over Time Multiplier (at higher levels). If you happen to find a Sceptre with +1 to All Fire Spell Skills or +1 to All Spell Skills, that Sceptre will likely be your BIS Weapon all the way to Act 10. Try to craft Fire Damage on your Weapons whenever you can. Starting at Level 44, you can also craft Fire Damage Over Time as a Suffix. After Weaver Once you have killed The Weaver and have turned the quest in, Yenna will now offer Elemental Focus. Link Righteous Fire - Efficacy - Elemental Focus Act 3 Start looking for: BBBR for Righteous Fire - Efficacy - Elemental Focus - Lifetap GRX for Fire Trap - Lifetap - Trap and Mine Damage/Concentrated Effect Our goal is to get a 4-Link as soon as possible for Righteous Fire. Unfortunately, the only option will be Lifetap but Righteous Fire will still be very strong on a 3-Link if you cannot get BBBR. Check Hargan every time you come back to Town as he has a chance to sell 4-Links. We will also look to swap from Scorching Ray over to Fire Trap. While you could've played Fire Trap from the swap in Act 2, there was too much going on and there was too much gem pressure to make the swap easy to do. This swap will happen a bit into Act 3 at Level 24. Pick up all Yellow items, you are going to need lots of Alterations to buy all of the gems. Level 24 Take Flammability from Maramoa and buy Purity of Elements & Automation from Clarissa. Start using Flammability on Bosses for extra DPS. Remove Vitality and replace it with Purity of Elements. Go to Act 1 and buy Steelskin from Nessa. Link Steelskin - Automation if you have the space for it. Make sure to turn on Automation just like you would turn on an Aura. This can be fit in at any time. If you find yourself having issues with Mana, pick up Shaper on the Passive Tree sooner. It is now time to swap from Scorching Ray over to Fire Trap. Go back to Act 1 and buy Fire Trap & Lifetap from Nessa. Go to Act 2 and buy Trap and Mine Damage from Yenna. If you happen to have a GBR and not GGR, you can buy Concentrated Effect instead of Trap and Mine Damage. Link Fire Trap - Lifetap - Trap and Mine Damage/Concentrated Effect You can now remove Scorching Ray. Fire Trap will do more DPS against Bosses and Rares, simply spam it on top of the enemy while standing in melee range for Righteous Fire. You should also swap over to a Shield whenever you can from two Sceptres. Once you have done so, go back to Act 1 and buy Shield Charge from Nessa. Replace Leap Slam with Shield Charge and link it to Faster Attacks. Shield Charge can be animation canceled just like Leap Slam was able to with Frostblink. This should feel smoother and faster than Leap Slam was. Level 26 You should stop at Maramoa and Gamble for some Intelligence Gloves. Level 26 is the breakpoint for you having a ~50/50 chance to find one with a 4-Link if using all of the Gold you have. If you don't get one that is ok, just keep going. You can try this later if needed or you can save your gold for later. You will need to try and get 1R on these to fit in Lifetap. Use all of your Chromatic Orbs here to try and get it. If you succeed, move your Righteous Fire links to them and then add in Lifetap from Act 1. If you do not succeed, hold onto the gloves and use more Chromatic Orbs as you get them until you get BBBR or a BBBR item drops. You should also be on the lookout for a 4-Link for Fire Trap. You will need at least GRXX with at most 2 Red sockets in total. GRRR will not work. As soon as you find one, move everything over to this. You are going to use Fire Trap - Lifetap + Trap and Mine Damage/Swift Affliction/Concentrated Effect/Controlled Destruction/Cruelty. Simply use 2 out of the list of possible supports based on what you find. The ideal setup is Fire Trap - Lifetap - Trap and Mine Damage - Concentrated Effect. Outside of that, you can continue through the rest of Act 3 with no other changes. You can skip the Library and Siosa. Act 4 Do Lab after Level 31 when your gems upgrade. Do your best do dodge all of Izaro's skills. While Izaro has some Elemental skills, his Heavy Attack & Auto-Attacks are significantly deadlier. Stay near him while constantly running behind him. Pick up Reliquarian and.... enjoy your two additional passive points wooooo. Level 36 After killing both Kaom and Daresso and opening the Door to The Belly of the Beast, go back to Town and grab Increased Area of Effect from Dialla. You can choose to swap out Lifetap for Increased Area of Effect if you prefer, you shouldn't notice much of a difference in your DPS doing so. This also allows you to upgrade to either BBBB or BBBR now. Level 38 After killing Malachai take Chaos Golem from Oyun. You can choose to keep it summoned for an additional buff. It's up to you if you want to bother, as you get closer to Act 10 it will start to die quite a lot. Act 5 There is nothing to mention about Act 5 with the exception that you will lose 30% Elemental Resistances after killing Kitava. Make sure that you are over 75% Fire Resistance after the -30% and if needed you should go and craft Fire Resistance on your gear in your Hideout. You might also come across a lack of Dexterity or Intelligence, if that is the case, you can craft a Dexterity roll on your gear. The Intelligence will be taken care of as you level more and you can just ignore it until then. Act 6 Do Lilly's Quest to clear the Beach as soon as you get to Act 6. Buy Burning Damage and replace Lifetap on Righteous Fire. Keep Lifetap on Fire Trap. DO NOT SKIP THIS - Buy Impending Doom, Temporal Chains, Punishment, Despair & Enfeeble from Lilly. Put all of these into open sockets so that they gain experience for the swap to Impending Doom after Heist. You can buy two random weapons from a Vendor and put them in your Second Weapon Set. You can then socket all of these in there and they will still gain experience. At a minimum, Impending Doom must gain experience the whole time, it is fine if you can't level some of the Curses. You should also ideally try to level as many additional copies of Temporal Chains as possible. In 3.28 new Corruption Coins are being added that gives you a Level 1 Support Gem of a certain color when used on a Level 20 Skill Gem. In our case, we want to use the Green Support Corrupt in order to put Level 1 Swift Affliction on Temporal Chains. You do not need to get Temporal Chains to 20% Quality and can just use the Green Support Corruption Coins on it as soon as it gets to Level 20. This will be a 25% DPS increase if you do happen to get Swift Affliction which is just a 1/3 chance. Nothing is changing in Act 6 other than starting to collect Heist Contracts. >>>>>PLEASE READ THIS<<<<< >>>>>PLEASE READ THIS<<<<< Once you get to Act 6, you can start setting up Heist so you can go and do 1-2 Hours of Heist as soon as you get to the end of Act 10 which will make you ~100-200 Chaos Orbs. With this, you will easily have more than enough currency to buy the starting items we need such as Vixen's, Doedre's Damning, The Scourge along with good Rare items in all slots. You can choose to not do Heist but, Earlygame Maps earn you basically 0 currency meaning you will have to wait quite a while to see any of the core items. While this is fine as Righteous Fire can handle all content very well, if you wish to have the easiest time possible, I STRONGLY recommend to do Heist. You don't even need to do all Contracts, simply doing enough to buy Vixen's Entrapment is enough. Impending Doom CANNOT be played without these Gloves. Heist is extremely easy to do but it is something you NEED to start working on in Act 6. You will need to stop every level and buy Contracts from the Heist Vendor to stock up before finishing Act 10. Faustus, the Auction House NPC is available in Act 6 as a way to trade with other players. Buy 1 Chaos worth of Rogue Markers from the Auction House to get you going ASAP with collecting Contracts. You can also buy Chance Orbs if you ever run out of them and you can quickly make 1-2 Chaos by doing 1-2 Lockpicking Contracts. Use this Regex to buy Contracts - Lockp|Percept|Demo If you are a new player following this guide, I would most likely recommend going down the Heist path. It will not only set you up with more than enough money to begin but, it will teach you one of the best possible starting routes for currency. While for more advanced players rushing to T16 Maps might be better, I personally think spending 1-2 Hours in Heist is a better and easier option for most people. Please keep in mind, you DO NOT want to kill Kitava in Act 10. Do all of your Heisting and once its done, THEN go and kill Kitava in Act 10. If you plan to do Heist, I recommend to watch the video guide I have on it. Heist Guide - https://youtu.be/v4PBenCGMIo >>>>>PLEASE READ THIS<<<<< >>>>>PLEASE READ THIS<<<<< Act 7 Do your Second Lab as soon as you can. Once you finish it, pick up Veruso's Ambition for Movement Speed. This will also give you the Ravenous Skill, you can completely ignore this as it is just useless, we just wanted the Movement Speed. Act 10 In Act 10 you can now go and do your Third Lab and pick up The Burden of Shadows. This will be the core reason we are playing this build as a Reliquarian and will be the start of our Life Stacking journey. For now this will only buff your Fire Trap DPS until you swap to Impending Doom. Righteous Fire will gain no benefit from this. After doing your Third Lab is when you should go run all of your Heist Contracts. It is quite easy to die in Heist if you are not careful especially when you start. Start with your Low-Level Contracts first to make it as easy as possible. DO NOT KILL KITAVA IF YOU PLAN TO HEIST, RUN ALL CONTRACTS BEFORE KILLING KITAVA Please buy an Impending Doom Support before Heisting if you do not have one yet. I cannot stress how important having a semi-leveled one is for when you swap. You still have time to level it quite a lot as you will get a lot of experience in Heist. Once you are done with Heist, go and kill Kitava to get to Maps. ------------------------------------------------------------- NOTE ON FORMATTING: As this PoB & Guide aims to be an all-in-one guide from Level 1 to... a lot of Mirrors, the rest of the Note Section will be split up into Earlygame, Midgame & Endgame chapters going over important topics for each progression point. All sections will be clearly marked as: Earlygame - Midgame - Endgame - ------------------------------------------------------------- ============================================================================================================================================================================================================================================================== ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Earlygame---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ============================================================================================================================================================================================================================================================== NOTE - Please use the Loadouts in the Top Right to swap between the different versions of the build. This will swap your Items, Skills, Passive Tree & Configs around automatically. Trade Links for everything can be found in their sections & at the bottom of the Earlygame section for Rare gear. Earlygame - Swapping to Impending Doom Day 1 Atlas Tree - https://tinyurl.com/Allie328DoomAtlasDay1v2 Day 1 Update Video - https://youtu.be/JLi_K4E63aI NOTE - DO NOT SWAP BEFORE YOU DO YOUR 3RD LAB, YOU WILL BRICK YOURSELF. With your Heisting done, it is time to swap over to Impending Doom! To be able to do that you will need 2 things: Vixen's Entrapment and ideally Doedre's Damning. You can play this just fine without Doedre's Damning, but you will lose a decent chunk of your DPS. This is fine for Low-Tier Maps and shouldn't matter until Red Maps. (More on this below in the Impending Doom Mechanics Section.) You should go to the Top-Right of PoB and swap the Loadout over to Level 75 - Doom Swap as it will change your Gear, Skills and Passive Tree to the proper ones. With Vixen's Entrapment, all you will need to do is to 4-Link them. This is going to be a bit more involved due to us needing VERY SPECIFIC socket colors to order our Curses correctly. This is discussed further in the Impending Doom Mechanics Section below. Please read this. Along with that, buy yourself a 5-Link or 6-Link Body Armour (Trade Links in the Gear Section below) and then change your Passive Tree from Level 70 - RF Heisting to Level 75 - Doom Swap Tree. You should have gotten quite a lot of Orbs of Regret from the Heists and when combined with using Gold to Respec your Passive Tree at Faustus in your Hideout or in the Act 10 Town it should be easy to cover the cost. The Level 75 Passive Tree is not "ideal" as it aims to try and use as many of the Passive Points you used with Righteous Fire to cut down on the total respec required to begin. The most important aspect of this is making sure you have both Life Masteries, Hearty and it's Mastery, Tireless along with Deep Thoughts, Sovereignty and Arcane Capacitor. You also absolutely need to make sure that you swap the pathing at the start of your Passive Tree to the Left Side as we need the Life Regeneration points. If for some reason you do not have enough Gold, you can skip out on picking up some of the damage nodes as your DPS will be very high going into Tier 1 Maps anyways. The reason we are putting such a focus on having enough Mana and Life Regeneration is due to the extreme costs you will have to deal with once swapping over to Impending Doom. In this build we will be manually casting Temporal Chains along with Vixen's triggering Despair, Enfeeble and Punishment. These are all Curses and Curses have very high Mana Costs. To deal with this, we are going to shift most of the Mana Cost over to Life and then solve it with Life Regeneration. Your Burden of Shadows Ascendancy Node already moves 50% of your Mana Costs over and with the 15% Life Mastery, a total of 65% of your Mana Costs will be Life Costs. As long as you have the starting Regen nodes along with Hearty, Tireless, Quick Recovery and Vitality, you should have significantly more Life Regeneration than what you use to cast. Keep in mind that this is based on you having a Ring with "Non-Channelling Skills have -x to Total Mana Cost" crafted onto it. Until you obtain this, you will have to use your Mana Flask on Bosses. (More on this below in the Mapping Section) Grab yourself Level 1 copies of every new Skill and Support, you ideally should've pre-leveled Impending Doom, Temporal Chains, Despair, Enfeeble and Punishment starting in Act 6. Until you do your 4th Lab you will need to keep your Vitality at ~Level 5 to have enough Mana to cast Chaos Golem. Once you have done your 4th Lab and pick up Tear of Purity, you can level Vitality to Level 20. >>PLEASE READ THIS SECTION - YOU SHOULD KNOW ALL OF THIS OTHERWISE YOU CAN VERY EASILY BRICK YOUR BUILD<< (There is a TLDR at the bottom if you skip all of this but I REALLY encourage you to read and understand how the build works, I will be unhappy if your build is not working correctly due to a simple mistake that wouldn't have happened if you read this.) Earlygame - Impending Doom Mechanics Impending Doom Basics Lets discuss how our build will work. In this build we are playing around the Impending Doom Support, that Support is your whole build and where all of your DPS comes from. Impending Doom is a Debuff that is applied onto enemies when it is linked to a Curse, in our case Temporal Chains. This Temporal Chains will be your "Main DPS Skill" that you will be casting to kill enemies. In total, Impending Doom has 3 Charges meaning if you hit 10 Enemies with one Temporal Chains, only 3 of them will have Impending Doom applied onto them assuming all 3 charges are off cooldown. These Charges have a very short cooldown of only 0.15 seconds meaning you will gain 4 every second. For the purpose of playing this build, you can simply just hold down Temporal Chains at all times, the way everything will be set up will mean that you don't need to worry about it. These Impending Doom Debuffs will do no damage when applied. Impending Doom will only trigger once the Curse that applied it either Times Out or is Removed. In our case, we are going to replace the Temporal Chains with another Curse. This will all be done through Vixen's Entrapment. What these Gloves do is Trigger any Curse that is socketed inside of them after you cast a Curse manually. With this, every time you cast Temporal Chains, Vixen's will cast its Curses at the same exact location, priming them with Impending Doom and causing the next Temporal Chains cast to Trigger Impending Doom. Trigger Order (Optional Reading) Trigger Order - https://www.poewiki.net/wiki/Trigger#Trigger_order What is VERY important about this, is going to be the ORDER in which Vixen's triggers the Curses inside of it. Due to Animation Time, Vixen's will actually Trigger and apply it's Curses first before your Temporal Chains finishes. In our case, we will be using 4 Curses at once and we will have a Curse Limit of 3. We will be manually pressing Temporal Chains and then Vixen's will trigger (in this exact order) Punishment, Despair & Enfeeble. What we want to happen is this: 1. You press Temporal Chains 2. Vixen's triggers Punishment - Curse Limit 1/3 3. Vixen's triggers Despair - Curse Limit 2/3 4. Vixen's triggers Enfeeble - You are at Curse Limit 3/3 5. Temporal Chains activates on enemies - You are at Curse Limit 3/3 so it will remove Punishment which is the oldest Curse. With this order, when you first press Temporal Chains on an enemy you will "prime" them with Impending Doom. When you next press Temporal Chains again, Vixen's will trigger causing the 3 Curses inside of it to apply and "kick" the Temporal Chains off, triggering Impending Doom. The reason the Order is important is due to the FIRST curse only applying 50% of the time as it will constantly Flip-Flop between Temporal Chains and Punishment. This will then guarantee that we have 100% uptime on both Despair and Enfeeble which is what we want. To guarantee this, you need to socket your Curses in a specific order inside of your Vixen's. Punishment must be in the Top-Left Socket and Despair/Enfeeble must be in any of the other 3 sockets AFTER Punishment when following the Link Order between the Sockets. Spell Cascade can then be socketed in any open socket. This setup is ideal for Defences as it guarantees 100% uptime on Enfeeble. If you wish to have more DPS, you can put Enfeeble in the Top-Left Socket and Punishment anywhere else on the Gloves. If you cannot get Doedre's Damning to have a Curse Limit of 3, (1 by default, 1 from Vixen's and 1 from Doedre's) then you will need to either sacrifice Enfeeble or Punishment. You will still keep Enfeeble/Punishment in the Top-Left Socket and then the other Curse after it. Spell Cascade Overlaps (Optional Reading) Impending Doom CDR/Cast Speed Breakpoints - https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/e/2PACX-1vTpawOxwe7p1usvly4idkLj0iPLdX5H8_HChnmESM40oyEBr63gU_zasHaC2xgU08N9yE-YK5nUUByp/pubhtml#gid=1457223478 The final mechanic we need to discuss when it comes to Impending Doom is Spell Cascade. Simply put, Impending Doom comes off of cooldown too fast. Impending Doom has a cooldown of 0.15 Seconds while Vixen's has a cooldown of 0.25 Seconds. This means you will always be at 3 Charges on Impending Doom as you are always waiting for Vixen's cooldown, wasting DPS potential. This can actually lead to instances where you are casting Temporal Chains so fast that you completely miss a cooldown of Vixen's meaning you did Zero DPS for that moment in time. (If this happens your DPS is PERMANENTLY ~50% lower until fixed.) This is something you will not have to worry about if you follow the guide exactly. All you need to keep in mind is to NEVER get any Cast Speed that the guide does not specifically tell you to get. If a random item you want to upgrade has Cast Speed on it and I DO NOT tell you to get Cast Speed on it, Do Not Upgrade To It. So, with that in mind, what can we do about the mismatch in cooldowns? Spell Cascade. With Spell Cascade linked to all of our Curses, you will now cast an identical Curse Zone in Front and Behind the location of your Curse. These Spell Cascade Zones will also work with Vixen's and Impending Doom meaning we can "cheat" and get more Vixen's Triggers than we should be able to get, allowing us to trigger more Impending Dooms. What you will want to do when playing the build, is to aim either in Front or Behind a Boss that you are fighting. This is due to Spell Cascade giving you a small area where the Curse Zones will overlap allowing you to benefit from this effect. With this, every 0.25 Second Cycle (with no CDR assuming 4 CPS), you will trigger Vixen's and Impending Doom twice. Given Impending Doom must regenerate each charge one at a time, that means you use up 2 Charges per 0.25 Seconds while only gaining back 1.66 Charges. Without Spell Cascade you were wasting 0.66 Charges per Cycle meaning Spell Cascade is 66% More DPS. Impending Doom TLDR 1. You must Socket Punishment in the Top-Left Socket inside Vixen's. Despair and Enfeeble MUST go after Punishment in any order. Spell Cascade can go in either of the Bottom Sockets. 2. You must NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER get any Cast Speed that I do not specifically tell you to get. If you have more Cast Speed than expected you will lose 50% of your DPS. 3. You need to aim your Mouse in Front or Behind a Boss. You want to hit the Boss with the Overlapping portion of your Curses caused by Spell Cascade. This is a 66% DPS increase. Earlygame - Mapping Tier 16 Regex - "!ry ra|on,|rses|o al|gen|re he" Do your Fourth Lab at ~Level 80-85, as soon as you are settled into the build and have The Scourge. With this, you will take Tear of Purity giving you a Level 30 Purity of Elements that only costs 25% Mana. This will then allow you to level Vitality all the way to Level 20. One important upgrade in the build will be to get a Ring with "Non-Channelling Skills have -x to Total Mana Cost" crafted on a Prefix. With this, you should be able to completely get rid of your Mana Flask as your Mana Regeneration will be able to keep up with your Mana Costs by itself. This craft will require you to obtain the recipe for it which will be in the Wasteland Map. Outside of that, your gameplay should be very comfortable. You need to keep in mind that this is a Poison build so you will have a ramp time before you reach full DPS. Eventually, we will be dropping the Poison part of the build and fully focusing on our Hit Damage, but a Poison setup will yield much higher DPS at a low budget. Keep using Shield Charge and Frostblink to move around as you did before. Your only new button is going to be the addition of Wither which will be linked to Spell Totem. This should be placed down during Bosses as it will double your DPS on its own. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Step 2-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- After putting your build together, Mapping should feel comfortable and you should be making steady progression through the Map Tiers. Step 2 is going to focus on getting everything we will need to handle Tier 16 Maps and whatever farming strategy you will want to do. Every "Step" is going to have its own Loadout made for it that you can swap to in the Top-Right of PoB. Level 75 - Doom Swap {1} was Step 1 as denounced by the {1} and Level 86 - Tier 16 {2} is Step 2. Due to this being the Earlygame, a lot of the gear is shared between Step 1 and 2 to not bloat the PoB and in Step 2 we will be discussing that gear further that you are meant to upgrade into from whatever you had while leveling. Earlygame - Uniques to Prioritize There are going to be 4 core Uniques that we will want to add into the build as soon as possible. Vixen's Entrapment Trade Link - https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Mirage/jW98JoMbHX Vixen's is essential to the build and are Required for Impending Doom to even function. These should be ~20-40 Chaos Orbs at the start of the season and should easily be affordable with the money you make from Heist. DO NOT buy a pair that is Corrupted as you will not be able to afford properly coloring them and 4-Linking. The Trade Link will account for this. The Video Guide will have a visual example on how to color your Vixen's for cheap. The Cast Speed roll on Vixen's is relevant, and if possible you should try to get a pair with the best Cast Speed roll you can afford. Do not overspend here, especially with your Heist money as there are much more important things to use it on other than just more Cast Speed. Doedre's Damning Trade Link - https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Mirage/aLkrgnb8ue Doedre's is a very important Ring at the start of our build due to the difficulty of getting to a Curse Limit of 3 without it. You will have 1 Curse by default, another +1 from Vixen's and then finally your third from Doedre's. If this is too expensive early on, you can skip out on it, but you should try and buy one as soon as you can. Without Doedre's you will need to remove a Curse from your Vixen's as mentioned in the section above covering Impending Doom's mechanics. The Scourge/Breath of the Council The Scourge Trade Link - https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Mirage/5n42PBJVua Breath of the Council Trade Link - https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Mirage/KlY8oPYDi5 For the start of this build we will opt to use a Unique Weapon as we have 2 very solid options, The Scourge and Breath of the Council. Ideally, you will want to buy The Scourge as it is the stronger option. This Weapon offers you the benefit of Spiritual Aid but at 150% effect synergising with the Minion Damage nodes that we pick up. This should always be your first option but if it happens to be too expensive, Breath of the Council is a good alternative. If you need to use Breath of the Council, then you will have to pick up Spiritual Aid on the Passive Tree otherwise the Minion Damage nodes are useless. Leper's Alms Trade Link - https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Mirage/rPGy0ZXZuQ Leper's Alms will be our Shield of choice for quite a long time in the build due to the "40% increased Duration of Ailments on Enemies." This will prolong each Poison, overall increasing your Boss DPS. Leper's tends to be quite expensive for the first day of a season so you can skip out on this for a while and just grab it once you get to Tier 16 Maps. Until then, just use any Rare Shield with Life and Resistances on it. You should keep in mind that Leper's has no Resistances so you will lose out on them once you swap which might potentially bring you below the Resistance Cap. Earlygame - Rare Gear 6-Link Trade Link - https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Mirage/d8gm5Py5iJ Corrupted 6-Link Trade Link - https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Mirage/nrl7KmEBt0 Helmet Trade Link - https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Mirage/d8kvjZZZhJ Boots Trade Link - https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Mirage/X3lZZwBRsP Amulet Trade Link - https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Mirage/yYd089kGTR Ring Trade Link - https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Mirage/kyb2Bo6wu5 Belt Trade Link - https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Mirage/2KnLqXrVIk This build will not require many Unique items meaning we are quite flexible on the stats we must find on our Rare items. Crafting is not very viable to do at this stage so we will simply hunt for gear from the Trade Website. First, you will want to upgrade to a 6-Link as soon as you can. You can either buy a Corrupted 6-Link with the correct colors or you can buy an Uncorrupted one. You will need to use a mix of Green and Blue Supports in your 6-Link meaning you should avoid pure Armour bases that only require Strength to be equipped. These will be very difficult to color and if possible, its best to avoid any Strength Hybrid base too. You should look for a Dexterity/Intelligence Body Armour if possible. If you did grab an Uncorrupted one, you can use some Essences and recraft it with whatever you need such as using a Strength, Dexterity or Chaos Resistance Essense. Ideally, you should make sure that the Body Armour does not have any Maximum Life or Life Regeneration on it. We want to use the 15% increased Life Mastery which requires you to not have any Life based mods on your Body Armour. The 15% from the Mastery will beat any Maximum Life roll this early on but if you cannot avoid it, make sure to drop the Life Mastery. If you need to re-color your 6-Link, you should use this Calculator to figure out the easiest way. Keep in mind that the Attribute Requirements are of the Body Armour's with NO Skills or Support Gems socketed in. Take those out first. Vorici Calculator - https://siveran.github.io/calc.html Helmet & Belt For your Helmet and Belt, you are looking for as much Life and Resistances as possible. I would recommend to buy your Amulet and Ring first to see how much more Dexterity you need. If you need more, you can add it on as a search to your Helmet, Boots or Belt searches but the Amulet and Ring searches should take care of it. If you do not need any Dexterity and are all set on Resistances, fit as much Strength as possible to further scale Burden of Shadows. You should also use all Eldritch Embers and Ichors you obtain on your Helmet as there are very powerful Implicits to try and get here. With your Eater Ichors, you are aiming for "x% increased Duration of Ailments on Enemies" while with your Exarch Embers you want either "x% increased Despair Curse Effect" or "x% increased Temporal Chains Curse Effect." You SHOULD NOT go out of your way to buy more Ichors and Embers to hit these as we will be moving on to Foulborn Doedre's Scorn relatively quickly anyways. Just use what you find for extra DPS. Boots For Boots you are just going to look for a high Movement Speed roll along with as many Resistances as possible. I would prioritize getting 25% or 30% Movement Speed Boots as it will make a big difference and save a lot of time getting to Tier 16 Maps. Amulet & Anoint Your Amulet is going to be a Dexterity base to help with getting enough Dexterity. The Trade Link will only show you Dexterity or Hybrid Dexterity bases. Outside of that, you will be looking for Damage Over Time Multiplier and Cast Speed. Any amount of Cast Speed is fine here, you do not need to worry about this roll. You are going to want to Anoint your Amulet with Toxic Strikes ASAP. This is quite important as without it, you are only at an 80% Chance to Poison, meaning you are leaving 20% of your DPS on the table. Toxic Strikes is quite cheap, using only a Clear, Amber and Crimson Oil, making it quite reasonable to get as soon as you buy your Amulet. If you can't afford it, then save some money and buy the Oils needed once you have the rest of your gear, this should be your first upgrade. With this, you will be at a 95% Chance to Poison, with the last 5% being taken care of by a Cluster Jewel you will craft as you progress to Tier 16 Maps. Ring The Ring Trade Link will only show you Rings with 1 Open Prefix in order to allow you to craft "Non-Channelling Skills have -x to Total Mana Cost" as soon as you unlock the recipe. Otherwise, you will just be looking for a very large Dexterity roll as most Ring mods are undesirable and this is a good place to budget for it. If you end up with more currency or are finding the gear is too cheap, feel free to add Chaos Resistance or Strength to any of the searches as both rolls are great. Chaos Resistance will stop some random spike damage you might come across with Chaos mobs while Strength is just more DPS and EHP. Earlygame - Resistance Capping Your Resistances in this build will be very simple to deal with. With Alira, Doedre's Damning and Cruel Preparation, quite a lot of them are taken care of for you. You can also pick up the Jewel Socket by Mind over Matter for 2 Passive Points to help if needed. Between all of this you will need very few actual rolls on your gear. Ideally two Elemental Resistance rolls on your Helmet and Boots along with some medium rolls on your Belt should be enough to cap you. This is even easier if you pick up some Jewels with Resistances on them. This means you will have a lot of space to try and fit in Chaos Resistance. The sample gear uses a Two-Stone Ring which can easily be swapped to an Amethyst Ring. Keep in mind that you do not need the same rolls as the sample gear. Fit everything as needed based on your gear. Earlygame - Attribute Requirements Attributes should be quite simple to deal with given how many Strength and Intelligence Passive Points we are pathing through. The only difficulty will be Dexterity as you will need 155 Dexterity for a Level 20 Herald of Agony. This should be simple to take care of with 2 Dexterity rolls on your gear. Ideally try to find this on your Amulet and Ring as there are not many desirable stats on those items. You can also pick up either of the 2 +30 Dexterity Passive Points that we path by if needed as a temporary solution. Earlygame - Flasks Utility Flask Trade Link - https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Mirage/9zQ6RodzfK Flasks are going to be pretty simple to start with. You want to keep a Life & Mana Flask up until your 4th Lab as mentioned in the Swapping to Impending Doom Section above. On your Life Flask you ideally want to use a few Orbs of Alteration in hopes to hit the "Instant Recovery on Low Life" roll. You want to try and roll this mod with no Suffix on the Flask as that will let you add a guaranteed Immunity Suffix in the Menagerie. Once you have your Flask setup, head over there and put the "Immunity to Bleed" roll on your Life Flask as this will deal with Corrupting Blood in Maps. For your other four Flasks, we will simply want to use a Quicksilver, Jade, Granite and Sulphur Flask. Quicksilver is required in every build, Jade will give you a small defensive layer with ~30% Evade Chance, Granite will give you ~30% Physical Damage Reduction and lastly Sulphur will be ~7% increased DPS. On all four Utility Flasks, you are aiming to get "x% increased Charge Recovery" along with Movement Speed, Increased Evasion, Increased Armour & Reduced Effect of Curses on You. The Suffixes can be on any of the four and their exact placement is not important. Make sure to take these over to the Crafting Bench and to use the "Used when Charges reach Full" to automate them. The Trade Link above has all four Suffixes in a Count filter. Simply type the Flask name at the top and buy one with one of the Suffixes. Then, go and turn off that Suffix from the Filter and search for a different Flask type until you have all three with all three Suffixes. Earlygame - Cluster Jewel Crafting Cluster Jewel Trade Link (Finished Ones) - https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Mirage/JBLrRY59Il In this build you are going to want to prioritize getting a specific Medium Cluster Jewel pretty quickly. Wither is a very large DPS increase for any Chaos Build and outside of our Wither Totem, we do not have any way to apply it. With a Medium Chaos Cluster Jewel, we can get Eternal Suffering which will maintain 5 Wither Stacks on enemies while Mapping. When combined with the Chaos Mastery giving you a 5% chance for 15 Stacks and Wither Totems themselves, this allows us to maintain high Wither uptime on Bosses as well. Along with this, we can also pick up Septic Spells as without this you will only have a 95% Chance to Poison, leaving 5% of your DPS on the table. If you happen to not have Toxic Strikes on your Amulet yet, then you are at 80% Chance to Poison meaning you are missing 20% of your DPS. This Cluster Jewel should go into the Left Jewel Socket and is included in the Level 86 - Tier 16 Passive Tree. You can choose to either buy a pre-crafted one with the Trade Link above or, you can craft your own. Getting Eternal Suffering & Septic Spells together is quite easy and should only take ~25 attempts at the Harvest Bench. Chaos Medium Cluster Jewel Crafting Guide Buy an Item Level 50-67, 4 or 5 Passive, Chaos Damage Over Time Medium Cluster Jewel. Cluster Jewel Base Trade Link - https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Mirage/rPGoEKggSQ 1. Buy ~1850 Primal Crystallised Lifeforce from the Auction House. This is the average amount needed and you might need more or less based on luck. 2. Go to the Harvest Crafting Bench and use the "Reforge a Rare Item... including a Caster modifier" option on the Cluster Jewel. This will guarantee Septic Spells every time with a ~1/25 chance to also roll with Eternal Suffering. 3. If you have Open Suffixes, you can use Exalted Orbs to add extra stats onto it. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Steps 3-5-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- At this point you are now comfortably farming Tier 16 and Steps 3-5 will discuss how to scale your build to handle Earlygame strategies easier. Earlygame - Eldritch Implicits At this point, it will be time to start thinking about Eldritch Implicits on your gear using Eater Ichors and Exarch Embers. While I would not recommend going out of your way and to buy Ichors and Embers at this point, this is here to guide you through what you'd want to roll for as you start getting some to drop in Tier 16. Once you get to the Life Step 2-3 portion of the guide, that should be around the time you go and buy the Eldritch Currency to roll for these Implicits if you have not yet obtained them. On your Helmet, with Eater Ichors, you are aiming for "x% increased Duration of Ailments on Enemies" while with your Exarch Embers you want either "x% increased Despair Curse Effect" or "x% increased Temporal Chains Curse Effect." On your Body Armour, with your Eater Ichors, you are aiming for "x% of Physical Damage from Hits taken as Fire/Cold/Lightning Damage" while with your Exarch Embers you want "x% increased Effect of your Curses." On your Boots, with your Eater Ichors, you are aiming for "x% increased Life Regeneration rate" while with your Exarch Embers you want either "x% increased Movement Speed" or "x% increased Action Speed." All of these rolls should be obtained with the Lesser version of the currencies, using higher tier ones is a waste of money at this point. You should ideally try to find a better version of your Body Armour and Boots before using Eldritch Currency on them due to the cost of it in the Earlygame. Try to focus on the Life Regeneration on your Boots and the Physical Taken As on your Body Armour. You should leave the Helmet for last as we will not be sticking to it for very long and will be upgrading to Foulborn Doedre's Scorn. Earlygame - Mirage Corruption Coins Swift Affliction Trade Link - https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Mirage/gl8z2WGahQ In 3.28, a new currency called Coins of X was added with the Mirage mechanic. These coins act as a Vaal Orb when used on a Level 20 Uncorrupted Skill Gem, Corrupting them and permanently adding a Level 1 Support to the Skill Gem itself. The Coins come in 3 types, one for each Support Color and in our case, we will want to use a Coin of Skill on a Level 20 Temporal Chains for a 1/3 chance to add Level 1 Swift Affliction. This Swift Affliction will then be passed down to Impending Doom giving you 25% More DPS. Given the Coin of Skill can only offer you options that "make sense," you will either get Trap Support, Cast on Crit, or Swift Affliction (to account for using Temporal Chains for Impending Doom) meaning we have very good odds. Until you succeed, you should always be leveling Temporal Chains in your Off-Hand to have them ready to go. You should directly buy some and use them on your Temporal Chains as they hit Level 20. The Quality on Temporal Chains is completely useless to our build, so you do not need to worry about that before Corrupting them with the Coin of Skill. Once you do obtain a Temporal Chains with Level 1 Swift Affliction, that will be your BiS Skill Gem for the rest of the Poison setup. This will cause you to have Mana issues which can only be fixed by getting a second "Non-Channelling Skills have -x to Total Mana Cost" roll. If you happen to get this before you are on the Life Step 2 portion of the build, hold onto it until then. Later on, you will need to do this process again with a Coin of Knowledge to get Level 1 Cursed Ground on Temporal Chains. This will be a 1/14 chance and will be required for the Life Stacking swap in the Midgame. Once you get Swift Affliction, you should start working on Cursed Ground as it will take a while to obtain. Earlygame - Swapping to Life Stacking Now that the initial setup for Impending Doom is put together and you are doing Tier 16 Maps, it is time to push the build further and to finally... actually become a Life Stacker. Up until this point you have just been an Impending Doom build on a Reliquarian, gaining a bit of Added Chaos Damage from the Burden of Shadows Ascendancy Node. What our goal will be over the next 3 Steps is to first pick up a few more incredibly powerful uniques such as Foulborn Doedre's Scorn and the full set up for Beacon of Madness. With that, your DPS will skyrocket while your clear will greatly improve due to the explosions offered by Beacon of Madness. Once that is all over, it will be time for us to purchase a Rathpith Globe, unlocking another scaling vector from directly stacking Life, at which point.... the whole build will devolve into Strength = Good. Life Step 1 - Foulborn Doedre's Scorn Video Update on Step 1 - https://youtu.be/JLi_K4E63aI Scorn Trade Link - https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Mirage/9zd0vzRzfK Jewel Trade Link - https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Mirage/JBL0Wedbhl Body Armour Trade Link - https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Mirage/wvbz3EEnhb The first thing we will want to do is to upgrade from using a 6-Link for our Impending Doom over to using Foulborn Doedre's Scorn. This Helmet is a Foulborn version of Doedre's Scorn coming from the Breach mechanic as a slightly altered version of the normal item. This Foulborn version gains a Level 30 Impending Doom added onto it which is.... ~200% More DPS than what a Level 20 Impending Doom would give you. The downside is that it is a Helmet so we can only 5-Link the Impending Doom but, with how much stronger a Level 30 version is, the loss of one Support Gem is nothing. Now, another downside with this is that Foulborn Doedre's Scorn itself is quite a bad item offering no Life or Resistances. You will have to keep this in mind when upgrading to it as it might also require you to upgrade other items at the same time to make up for it. At this point is when we are going to seriously want to start focusing on our Jewels. We are pathing by quite a lot of Jewel Sockets allowing us to easily fix this issue. You will likely have an issue with having enough Dexterity and Elemental Resistances which are easy to get in quite high numbers on Jewels. The Trade Link above will have a Filter at the top for Dexterity and Elemental Resistance. All you will have to do is to simply turn them on based on what you are missing. You then just have to change the Min on the Dexterity or Elemental Resistance to exactly what you need. Along with this, every Jewel the Filter will show you will have "x% increased Maximum Life" along with either: +x% to Chaos Damage over Time Multiplier +x% to Damage over Time Multiplier x% increased Damage over Time % increased Poison Duration, x% chance to Poison on Hit You should always aim to get a Jewel with both Life and one of these damage mods on them along with Dexterity or Resistances as needed. If you do not need any more Dexterity or Elemental Resistances, you can set the Count Min to 2 as that will then show you even better DPS Jewels. Once you have purchased Foulborn Doedre's Scorn and have fixed your Dexterity and Resistances, its time to swap over to it. Remove your old Helmet and swap your Temporal Chains setup over to Foulborn Doedre's Scorn. You will be using Temporal Chains - Spell Cascade - Unbound Ailments - Chance to Poison to begin. With the next Step we will be removing Chance to Poison in favor of Cruelty, but for now it is required to get us to a 100% chance. You can move your old Helmet gems over to your Body Armour for now and just leave them there, there is not much to do with it yet. This also means that the 6-Link you had is now useless and we can downgrade to a 4-Link with significantly better stats. The Body Armour we want now is going to be a pure Armour Str base as we no longer need to worry about getting 3G3B on it which would've been..... very expensive. This then allows us to gain a very large amount of Armour and is going to synergize with The Brass Dome Ascendancy Node very well. Keep In Mind - You DO NOT need to find a Body Armour that is 6-Linked. The Trade Link above will specifically filter for Body Armours with a large amount of Life and Armour, it is up to you to also add in any Resistances you might need. If they are too cheap, you can always add in a search for Strength as well. Once you have your new Body Armour, swap out your first Ascendancy Node from Veruso's Ambition to The Brass Dome. This will double the Armour that you gained, making this feel like a very big upgrade while also making you tankier to Elemental Damage. The Brass Dome will also make you Immune to Critical Strikes which is a very very very good and underrated defensive layer. Overall, you should notice that your Life moves around a lot less than before. If you have not gotten any good Eldritch Implicits as mentioned in the section above this, it is now a good time to go out and buy some Ichors and Embers to get the Implicits mentioned on your Body Armour. This will be with us for quite a while so it's a good idea to invest into it more now. Lastly, swap out your Immortal Call for a Vaal Molten Shell as this will be a lot stronger now. Simply buy a few Molten Shell gems from Lilly and Corrupt them until one becomes Vaal. Link this to your Automation as before and use the Vaal version of the skill as a panic button if you ever need to. While Vaal Molten Shell is active, you are significantly tankier for a few seconds. Life Step 2 - Beacon of Madness Video Update on Step 2 - https://youtu.be/CjdupqBOaK4 Beacon of Madness Trade Link - https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Mirage/EBoLlWYzC5 Warped Timepiece Trade Link - https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Mirage/KlY57GvPi5 Rare Shield Trade Link - https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Mirage/D6jg2e8gC5 Rare Belt Trade Link - https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Mirage/9zQpLmyzCK Abyss Jewel Trade Link - https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Mirage/QL2vXaJwHw With your DPS taken care of, it is now time to open the gates to the rest of the build with Beacon of Madness. These Boots will offer a lot of changes to the build that will be very important to the medium-term of how everything will go together. There are 3 types of Beacon of Madness, in our case we want the pair that gives All Damage Can Poison and a 40% Chance to Explode Enemies on Kill. With this All Damage Can Poison, we no longer need any Poison Chance anywhere allowing for some nice changes. The Explosions are also very very powerful and will greatly enhance your clearspeed, especially given they can also Poison, applying massive Poisons to all enemies they hit, further causing more Explosions. The issue with Beacon of Madness is its downside, the Embrace Madness skill you must keep active. This will apply a variety of nasty Touched Debuffs to you which will basically... brick your character. To actually be able to use these Boots, we need to deal with them and that will be done through stacking the "Debuffs Expire x% Faster on You" stat. With 235%, each Touched Debuff will fall off so quickly that they only have a 50% chance to stack further than 1 Stack. The order in which Embrace Madness picks which Touched Debuff it applies is random so you can still have some bad luck every now and then, for now. To get to 235% we will need to get 4 things: The Warped Timepiece Amulet The Warped Timepiece Ascendancy Node Potency of Will and its Duration Mastery The Soul of Arakaali Pantheon upgraded with Maligaro When you combine those 4 sources, you will be at 235% Debuffs Expire Faster, giving us the breakpoint we needed. Now, this setup is going to cost ~1-2 Divine Orbs in total to set up. You will also need to do your Uber Lab if you have not done so yet, and you will need to likely deal with Resistance issues. Until you have the currency for this, pick up Tear of Purity as your Uber Lab node which will allow you to remove Purity of Elements and it will give you enough Mana Reservation to level Vitality to ~Level 20. Once you are ready to swap, you will need to add Purity of Elements back in and drop Tear of Purity, requiring you to use a Level 5-7 Vitality once again. Swapping to Beacon of Madness Please read this whole section and consider the Rare Upgrades you will need to make as mentioned below. First, you will need to upgrade your Arakaali Pantheon with Maligaro. To do so, you must use a Divine Vessel in your Map Device while running an Overgrown Shrine, once completed, the Vessel will fill with the soul and you can right-click it. Then, you will need to buy a Warped Timepiece. This Amulet will be with us for quite a while so you should look for good rolls here. You should NOT buy any Warped Timepiece that DOES NOT have 25% increased Cast Speed on it. Moving forward, Cast Speed is going to be a very important stat to have just right and I NEED to assume you have a 25% Cast Speed roll here. Outside of the Cast Speed roll, the only useful thing is the Movement Speed roll and you should try to get the best one you can afford. Start off by Anointing Toxic Strikes onto it just like before. After that, swap your Passive Tree over to the Level 90 - Life Step 2 version which will pick up Potency of Will and the Duration Mastery. We will have to make some sacrifices to make this happen, but your DPS will be more than high enough to be fine with some losses. Lastly, swap out your Ascendancy Node from Tear of Purity over to Warped Timepiece. With all of this, you can now put on Beacon of Madness and turn on Embrace Madness. You will start getting random Touched Debuffs but most of the time they should fall-off after 1-2 Stacks. Sometimes you might get unlucky and Embrace Madness will give you the same one multiple times in a row but there is nothing you can do about that. This will be a skill you will have to turn on at the start of every Map but once on, it can be completely ignored. When swapping over, you might struggle quite heavily with Resistances. You should swap out your Leper's Alms for a Rare Shield with Life and Resistances on it. This will make playing Resistance Jenga a whole lot easier and your DPS should still be more than high enough to have a great time in Tier 16 Maps. You will also gain A LOT of EHP from this as we will be looking for a Shield with "+2% to All Maximum Resistances" which should make you ~15% tankier. With an Open Suffix you can also craft "x% increased Effect of your Curses," making losing Leper's only a ~10% DPS loss. You can also look to upgrade to a much better Belt than what you had before. A Rare Shield should take quite a lot of pressure off your Resistances so you can start to look for more Chaos Resistance in places like this. Ideally on this Belt you want an Open Suffix to craft "x% increased Cooldown Recovery Rate." This will be discussed more in the Life Step 3 Section below but for now, treat every 1% CDR as 1% More Damage. There is a Trade Link at the top of this section for Shields, Belts and Abyss Jewels. Post-Swap Changes Rare Ring Trade Link - https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Mirage/ve4rZLqMiE Now that you have a 100% Chance to Poison from Beacon of Madness, you can drop every source of it in your build. Replace the Curse Mastery at Skittering Runes with "Recover 1% of Life when you Curse an Enemy." You can now also swap Chance to Poison to Cruelty on your Temporal Chains link. If you wish to be tankier, you can replace Herald of Agony with Flesh and Stone. This will be a 10% DPS loss, but will be up to 20% Less Damage Taken from anything in Melee range. In Tier 16 Maps this makes quite a big difference when it comes to survivability and you really won't notice the DPS loss that much. This will also drastically reduce your Dexterity Requirements as Herald of Agony was the issue. Without it, you will now only need 113 Dexterity and not 155. Lastly, you should now replace the Anoint on your Amulet from Toxic Strikes to Whispers of Doom. You should also use Accelerating Catalyst to Quality the Amulet to 20%. With this, your Doedre's Damning is now useless and we can replace it with a Rare Ring. Given you likely do not have much space for Chaos Resistance, this is a great place to try and fill in that gap. Ideally look for an Amethyst Ring with a Chaos Resistance Suffix on it and some Life. You can also look for an Iolite base if you want more DPS. You also must have an Open Prefix on it to craft another "Non-Channelling Skills have -x to Total Mana Cost" as it will be required once you win the Coin of Skill gamble on your Temporal Chains and get Level 1 Swift Affliction. Without this you will NOT have enough Mana to keep up anymore. Life Step 3 - Final Pre-Life Stacking Upgrades Video Update on Step 3 - https://youtu.be/u9uJrbBig8s It is time for a few final upgrades to our setup before it is time to do the big swap over to Life Stacking. Everything required to make the swap over will be quite expensive at ~40-50 Divine Orbs meaning you will need to do quite a bit of farming to get there. These upgrades are designed to help make that faster. Greater Spell Cascade Greater Spell Cascade Trade Link - https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Mirage/kyb2R0V3S5 It is time to finally upgrade your Spell Cascade to Greater Spell Cascade. This support is simply a better version of the normal one offering 2 additional Cascades to the Left and Right of your main cast. With Greater Spell Cascade you should notice a considerable increase to your clearspeed while also gaining a small amount of extra DPS against Bosses. Due to the 2 additional Cascades, our aiming against Bosses is now going to change. Instead of aiming In Front or Behind the Boss, you will now want to aim either to it's Left or Right. This should then cause a Triple Overlap with the Main Cast, Back normal Cascade and the Left of Right Greater Cascade. This is also going to change the math on our Cast Speed and CDR Breakpoints but that will be something to discuss later. For now continue as before with no changes. Keep in mind, you will need to buy 2 copies of Greater Spell Cascade as you will want to replace both the one in your Helmet and Gloves. Cluster Jewel Changes Large Cluster Jewel Trade Link - https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Mirage/D68QEv7wC5 Medium Cluster Jewel Trade Link - https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Mirage/eRWk3mEWiL Small Cluster Jewel Trade Link - https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Mirage/BgJba2Vkf8 It is also going to be time to make some changes to our Cluster Jewels, namely adding in a Large and Small Cluster Jewel while also changing out the Notables on the Medium Cluster. Defences are something we are going to want to improve and that will be done through an Enduring Composure Small Cluster Jewel. This requires another Cluster Slot and instead of picking up the Top-Left Cluster, we will add in a Large Cluster Jewel and socket it inside of it. The Large Cluster Jewel will simply be a Chaos Damage Cluster with Unholy Grace plus any other 2 Notables for the Prefixes. All nodes on it are as strong as each other making this very easy to create. You can use the Trade Link above to buy one or the Crafting Guide below to make your own. On the Medium Cluster Jewel, we need to replace Septic Spells with anything else as it is quite weak now. Circling Oblivion is the ideal replacement as it will be ~10% DPS over Septic Spells. The issue with that is that crafting a Cluster with Circling Oblivion and Eternal Suffering is quite expensive and not worthwhile to do. Typically the ones for sale are from people trying to craft other Chaos Clusters and happen to hit this combo. Due to that, we will also be looking for alternatives such as Unwaveringly Evil or Wicked Pall. The Trade Link above will specifically search for Circling Oblivion and Eternal Suffering. If there are none available or are too expensive, remove Circling Oblivion from the Filter, and set the Count Filter to a Min of 1 to find alternatives. Lastly, for the Small Cluster Jewel, we are just looking for Enduring Composure. This will give you Endurance Charges every time you are hit easily keeping up near 100% Uptime. This Cluster Jewel is also very difficult to craft for cheap so we will just buy one. Given it will be 2 Passive Points, any Added Stats will only be on 1 Passive Point, making them quite irrelevant. With that said, if you need Resistances or want more Life, the Trade Link will search for them. Keep in mind that you can use the Harvest Bench to swap Resistances around if needed. Large Cluster Jewel Crafting Guide This craft should be quite easy as it will be similar to the first Medium Cluster Jewel you made. Buy an Item Level 50-67, 8 Passive, Chaos Damage Large Cluster Jewel. Cluster Jewel Base Trade Link - https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Mirage/2KnqPVjGuk 1. Buy ~3750 Primal Crystallised Lifeforce from the Auction House. This is the average amount needed and you might need more or less based on luck. 2. Go to the Harvest Crafting Bench and use the "Reforge a Rare Item... including a Caster modifier" option on the Cluster Jewel. This will guarantee Unholy Grace every time. From here, you are looking for any 2 Notable Prefixes between Touch of Cruelty, Unwaveringly Evil and Wicked Pall. It is a ~1/50 chance to get 2 of the 3 Prefixes along with Unholy Grace. 3. If you have Open Suffixes, you can use Exalted Orbs to add extra stats onto it. The Light of Meaning & Unnatural Instinct The Light of Meaning Trade Link - https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Mirage/RJElPvBRI7 Unnatural Instinct Trade Link - https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Mirage/Z6KmgPg0SQ It is time to introduce the first Unique Jewel into the build, The Light of Meaning. This Jewel will create a Radius on your Passive Tree and give all nodes within its radius a bonus based on the jewel you have. In our case, we are looking to buy a Light of Meaning with "6% increased Chaos Damage." This will go in the Top-Left Jewel Socket by the Scion Start, right between Skittering Runes and Potency of Will. As soon as you socket this in, you will gain ~20% DPS making this extremely valuable. This will then be made stronger when combined with an Unnatural Instinct. Unnatural Instinct will give you every bonus of all Passive Points within its radius that are NOT allocated. When socketed into the Bottom Scion Start Jewel Socket, it will give you ~10% DPS as Light of Meaning's 6% increased Chaos Damage will apply to every node where they overlap. Along with this you will also gain some Resistances and Movement Speed but that is secondary to the DPS it provides. Due to Unnatural Instinct's price, THIS SHOULD BE THE FINAL UPGRADE that you make as part of Step 5 before getting ready to save for the Life Stacking Swap in Step 6. The Balance of Terror Balance of Terror Trade Link - https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Mirage/zb9Vka7qs4 Impending Doom CDR/Cast Speed Breakpoints - https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/e/2PACX-1vTpawOxwe7p1usvly4idkLj0iPLdX5H8_HChnmESM40oyEBr63gU_zasHaC2xgU08N9yE-YK5nUUByp/pubhtml#gid=1457223478 After you have obtained a Light of Meaning, it is also time to now upgrade to The Balance of Terror. This Jewel will offer you various benefits for manually casting Curses (Vixen's Triggers DO NOT count). In our case, we will be looking for "x% increased Cooldown Recovery Rate if you've cast Temporal Chains in the past 10 seconds." Cast Speed & Cooldown Reduction in Impending Doom Up until this point we have only briefly discussed Cast Speed and Cooldown Reduction in the build and have mostly handwaved it. It is now time to properly talk about what it means for our build. (I would recommend to re-read the Impending Doom Mechanics Section to first get a refresher on the basics.) In our build we are limited by 1 thing which is Impending Doom's Cooldown as it is the thing we constantly have to wait for every Vixen's Cycle. Thus, us gaining additional Cooldown Recovery Rate makes Impending Doom come up faster, giving us more Triggers and more DPS. The issue with this is that you will need enough Cast Speed to keep up with that. If you raise your CDR by 100% (50% Faster Impending Doom Cooldown Speed), you might generate Doom Charges twice as fast, but you are still casting Temporal Chains at the same speed so it doesn't do anything. Up until this point that has not been an issue due to us being able to benefit from Cast Speed up until 66% and 83-86% after the Belt Suffix craft. (The Cast Speed number for Temporal Chains in the Calcs Tab in PoB.) All of our upgrades so far have either avoided Cast Speed or have gotten enough to get you to that point without accidentally going too far. While Cast Speed is good, having too much of it WILL REDUCE YOUR DPS BY AS MUCH AS 50%. This can be seen in the Impending Doom Spreadsheet linked above. The 3 columns you need to pay attention to are CDR, Cast Speed MaxDPS and Cast Speed Hardcap. The CDR is self-explanatory, up until now we had 0% and have upgraded to 10-12% based on the Suffix on your Belt. Cast Speed MaxDPS refers to how much Cast Speed is beneficial at every CDR breakpoint, for example at 0% CDR, all Cast Speed from 0% to 66% are all DPS gains. Cast Speed Hardcap is the Cast Speed number you DO NOT WANT TO EVER GO OVER as if you do it will completely mess up your Doom Vixen's Cycle. While Cast Speed Hardcap sounds scary, we do want to approach it slowly as while it won't increase your DPS, it will still make you cast Temporal Chains faster, giving you a more comfortable clearing experience. Why This Matters After upgrading to the Large Cluster Jewel with Unholy Grace, you will have up to 91% Cast Speed assuming a perfect roll on Vixen's and Warped Timepiece. With the 10-12% Cooldown Recovery roll on your Belt, you will benefit from 83-86% of said Cast Speed meaning only a small amount is wasted. The issue with that is that every 1% Cast Speed that you can gain up to Cast Speed MaxDPS is 1% More DPS meaning we are leaving 5% of our DPS on the table. We also want to upgrade from The Scourge as while it was a great Earlygame Weapon, at this point it is a liablity given it is also consuming 8 Passive Points to be as strong as it is. It will now be time to craft a new Weapon where we will be gaining up to 32% additional Cast Speed meaning you will be at up to 123% Cast Speed. That both puts you above the 114% Cast Speed Hardcap but also leaves 37% of your DPS on the table. That is why it is time to upgrade to The Balance of Terror as with it's 20-25% Cooldown Recovery, you will now be at 32-37% CDR, allowing you to benefit from Cast Speed up to 120-128% which is fully saturated by a new Weapon. With this upgrade, you should also go and re-craft your Belt Suffix until it is 12% as the guide will now assume you have 12% + 20-25% from Balance of Terror. Later on we will Divine Orb the Balance of Terror to 25% CDR but for now, any roll will work just fine. New Weapon Craft The second to last thing we will be doing before swapping to Life Stacking will be to replace The Scourge. While this is the final major change at this point, it is the second to last change as you should upgrade to Unnatural Instinct after making this Weapon. What we will be looking to make is a Dagger with Damage over Time and Veiled Chaos Damage Prefixes along with Cast Speed, Chaos Damage over Time Multiplier and Damage over Time Multiplier as its Suffixes. This Dagger will be quite expensive at ~15-25 Divine Orbs to craft and will have to be done fully from scratch as we will need a Fractured base. Once you have fully finished it, you can remove the Minion Damage nodes we used for The Scourge and use them to pick up the Bottom Jewel Socket at the Scion Start to then fit in Unnatural Instinct. NOTE - DO NOT spend too much on this Dagger, while it will be with us for a while, we are going to replace it as soon as we swap to Life Stacking. This craft is simply done to aid in farming the currency needed for the Life Stacking swap. Once you do make the swap over, selling this Dagger should be easy to recoup your costs as it is used in several other builds. Weapon Crafting Guide Step 1 - Obtaining a Fractured Base Fractured Dagger Trade Link - https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Mirage/pJb9ZmKwH0 Dagger Base Trade Link - https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Mirage/G6d658JOUb First we must obtain a Dagger with a Fractured Tier 1 or 2 Chaos Damage over Time Multiplier on it. Chaos DoT Multi has an absurdly low Weight making attempting to roll for it when crafting the Dagger uneconomical. To do this you have multiple options based on what you are looking to make. There are 2 Item Level Breakpoints that we will care about: Item Level 76 for Tier 2 Damage over Time Multiplier and Item Level 82 for Tier 1 Damage over Time Multiplier. Above there are 2 Trade Links, one to buy a Pre-Fractured Dagger and another one for Dagger Bases to create your own Fractured base. If you plan to buy a Pre-Fractured Dagger, keep those 2 Item Levels in mind. If you intend to roll for Tier 1 Damage over Time Multiplier (1-2% more DPS) it will have to be Item Level 82 or higher, if you are ok with settling for Tier 2 Damage over Time Multiplier, then any Dagger that is Item Level 76 or higher is fine. PLEASE READ THIS PLEASE - DO NOT buy a Tier 3 or lower Chaos Damage over Time Multiplier Fracture that is called "of the Order." If you do, the item is BRICKED and cannot be crafted. The Trade Link will only show you Tier 2 or higher Fractures as there is no way for me to filter out the "of the Order" version of the Suffix at Tier 3 or lower. If the Pre-Fractured Daggers are worth over ~8-9 Divine Orbs (The price of 4 Fracturing Orbs + Alterations required to roll the base), then you can try to make your own base. To do this, use the Dagger base Trade Link and buy Item Level 82 Sai Daggers. (The Block Chance on the base is the only useful base for us but even then it is marginal.) Once you have bought one, use Alteration Orbs to roll for Tier 2 or higher Chaos Damage over Time Multiplier. It is a ~1/600 to hit Tier 2 or higher. Do not roll for Tier 1, you should settle for Tier 2. After you have gotten Tier 2 or higher Chaos Damage over Time Multiplier, use a Regal Orb on the Dagger and then Exalted Orbs until the Dagger has EXACTLY 4 Mods. You then need to use a Fracturing Orb for a 1/4 chance to Fracture the Chaos Damage over Time Multiplier. If it fails, you must buy a new base and try again. Step 2 - Crafting the Weapon Once you have obtained your Fractured Item Level 76+ or 82+ Chaos Damage over Time Multiplier Dagger, it is time to craft it which will be a simple process. 1. Use Deafening Essences of Misery to guarantee Cast Speed until you get Tier 1 or Tier 2 Damage over Time Multiplier. If your Dagger is BELOW Item Level 82 you can only roll for Tier 2 which is a ~1/300 chance. If your Dagger is AT or ABOVE Item Level 82, it is a ~1/320 to roll for Tier 1 and a ~1/160 to roll for Tier 2 or above. Once finished, you will now have a Dagger with Fractured Chaos Damage over Time Multiplier, Essence Cast Speed & Damage over Time Multiplier. You will need 1 Open Prefix, if your Prefixes are full, you will need to use an Orb of Annulment with a 3/5 chance to remove 1 Prefix. If it removes your Cast Speed or Damage over Time Multiplier, you will need to use Essences again. 2. Purchase ~5 Wild Bristle Matrons. Wild Bristle Matron Trade Link - https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Mirage/OgLKl2BzIE Yellow Beast Trade Link - https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/exchange/Mirage/KZglvRDh5 Go to the Menagere and use a Wild Bristle Matron to do the "Add a crafted Meta-modifier to a non-Unique Item" crafting option on the Altar. Once you have defeated the Beasts, you will now have "Suffixes Cannot be Changed" on your Dagger. NOTE - If you die, you will lose the Wild Bristle Matron. 3. Use a Veiled Chaos Orb on the Dagger, this will reforge the Prefixes and add a Veiled Prefix. DO NOT UNVEIL. In very very rare occasions, this will also add 2 Prefixes to your Dagger, if this happens, you can Unveil and hope to get the "x% increased Chaos Damage, Chaos Skills have x% increased Skill Effect Duration" mod. If you do happen to get it, you can either settle and be happy (this will be ~4% less DPS), or you can try to use an Orb of Annulment to remove a Prefix. If it removes any of the mods you care about, you will either have to go back to Step 1 or Step 2 based on if it removed the Veiled mod or a Suffix. (I recommend settling) In most cases, you will have an Open Prefix on the Dagger. Go to the Crafting Bench and craft any tier of "x% increased Physical Damage" on as a Prefix. Once you have done so, you can Unveil the Dagger and hope to see the "x% increased Chaos Damage, Chaos Skills have x% increased Skill Effect Duration" mod. This is a 37.115% chance. If you did not get the "x% increased Chaos Damage, Chaos Skills have x% increased Skill Effect Duration" mod, pick any other random mod. Then, go to the Crafting Bench and use "Remove Crafted Modifiers" to get rid of the "x% increased Physical Damage" craft. You can now go back to Step 2 and use a Wild Bristle Matron again to add "Suffixes Cannot be Changed" followed by another Veiled Chaos Orb to attempt Step 3 again. 4. With an Open Prefix, craft "x% increased Damage over Time" from the Crafting Bench. 5. (Optional) Craft the "Quality does not increase Physical Damage, Grants 1% increased Area of Effect per 4% Quality" enchant from the Harvest Bench. Make sure to Quality the Dagger to 20%. This is a very minor increase to your clearspeed. Earlygame to Midgame Transition You should now have a setup capable of farming most strats you wish to do. You should feel tanky enough for anything that isn't punching above your weight such as 8-Mod or Nightmare Maps while having great clear. Our next goal is to swap over to Life Stacking which will be the final form of the build that will take... Mirrors to finish. This will be somewhat expensive to do, we need to completely replace the majority of the gear that you have up to this point. In total, you should aim to farm ~45-50 Divine Orbs before making the changes as that should be plenty to cover everything. You will also get ~20 Divine Orbs back from selling all of your gear up until this point allowing you to immediately upgrade your setup even further. NOTE - Please DO NOT sell your Pre-Life Stacking gear in an attempt to buy the final few upgrades to swap. You can easily brick your character. Just make the money needed, swap, and then sell your gear once you can confirm you have setup the Life Stacking version correctly. The Midgame will heavily focus on Defences as that will also directly scale your DPS. This will make it significantly easier to do whatever you want to while being very comfortable. For now, the Earlygame is finished. ============================================================================================================================================================================================================================================================== ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Midgame------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ============================================================================================================================================================================================================================================================== ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Step 6-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Post Life-Stacking Regex - "!ry ra|d fl|on,|rses|o al|r li|hered|gen|re he" Do not take the Chaos Degen, Reduced Flask Duration and Charges Gained or Reduced Recovery per Endurance Charge Exarch Altar mods. While you can do Phys as Extra Chaos Maps, it is best to Regex them out as they are just annoying to do. Make sure to manually press Coruscating Elixir at the start of a Mirage if you are in a Phys as Extra Chaos Map. Midgame - The Great Life Stacking Swap It is time to finally make the swap over from a normal Poison build to a Life Stacking setup. While we could stay as a Poison setup while Life Stacking, not only is that more expensive to do, it will eventually hit a limit and require a swap over to a Hit based setup anyways. DoTs in PoE can only ever reach 32M DPS and there is no way to go past that, it is a hard cap imposed by the Server itself. While this is more than enough DPS for everything except Valdo Maps and Delve, it is still more expensive to do while offering no benefits. Video Update on Life Stacking - https://youtu.be/YJAPv2_as9A Life Stacking Scaling As a Life Stacker, our goal is going to be very simple: Stack as much Strength and Life as possible. Strength gives us +1 Life per 2 Strength and will be the source of all of our Flat Life that will then be multiplied by x% increased Maximum Life all over our Passive Tree, Gear, Jewels and more. At the same time, the Iron Will Keystone will give you 1% increased Spell Damage per 5 Strength giving us a direct source of DPS as well. This will then be paired up with The Burden of Shadows Ascendancy Node we have been running that gives us 5% of our Maximum Life as Added Chaos Damage. Along with that, we will be now using a Rathpith Globe that offers 5% Spell Damage and Critical Strike Chance per 100 Maximum Life. In total, for simply stacking as much Strength and Life as possible, we gain Spell Damage from 2 different sources, Critical Strike Chance and Added Chaos Damage. This takes care of every single scaling vector in basically every build in the game outside of Critical Strike Chance Multiplier which is what we will try to add on. Given stacking Strength and Life also just... makes you tankier, we get to scale our DPS for free by just simply scaling our defences. Life Stacking Defences This Life Stacking setup will also make you a lot tankier than you were before and as we grow our Strength, it will only keep getting better. As you might've noticed, we have a lot of Energy Shield. Why is that? Well, one problem with this setup is Rathpith Globe. Rathpith has a very nasty line on it, "Sacrifice 10% of your Life when you Use or Trigger a Spell Skill." Due to this line, if we tried to just play this as a "Life Build," we would just die due to how fast we must cast Temporal Chains. To fix this problem, we just need to not use our Life as our actual health and instead use something else, Energy Shield. This will be done through Reserving all of our Life away to convert all of it into Energy Shield through The Ivory Tower. At first this looks bad, you only gain 30% of your Life as Energy Shield through Ivory Tower so how could this ever work out? Multiplication is a fun concept. Ivory Tower gives you the Energy Shield as FLAT Energy Shield, meaning it will get to benefit from x% increased Energy Shield that is just a direct multiplier. If we were to get 100% increased Energy Shield, that then makes the +30 into +60 or 60% Conversion. If we can get 333% increased Energy Shield, then we will gain 100 Energy Shield per 100 Reserved Life making it neutral. The thing is, we will be going well past this due to Shaper's Touch as it offers us "1% increased Energy Shield per 10 Strength" meaning as we scale to 2,000... 3,000... 4,000 Strength, the scaling of Ivory Tower will only become stronger. In the Endgame, this will mean that we will turn our ~15k Life into ~30-40k Energy Shield due to how strong the multiplication gets. This not only makes us have a bigger Life Pool than what would've been possible with just Life on its own, but it also fixes the issue we had with Rathpith Globe killing you. With all of our damage being taken by our Energy Shield, we can pick up Eternal Youth causing our Energy Shield Recharge to apply to Life. Given your Life will never take any damage, this now Life Recharge will never stop giving you an effective ~3,500 Life Per Second that can just be seen as "Mana Regen" for the sake of casting our Temporal Chains and Rathpith's Sacrifice. This also gives us a good opportunity to pick up Zealot's Oath as we are an Energy Shield build, thus any Life Regeneration we would have would be useless. Zealot's Oath also gets to bypass the 50% Less Life Regeneration of Eternal Youth as its no longer Life Regeneration, but Energy Shield Regeneration. As you continue to push the build and gain more Strength and thus Life, your Regeneration will continue to rise as all of it is x% Life Regeneration based on your Life then converted to Energy Shield. Lastly, combine in some Energy Shield Leech from a Flask Suffix and some Maximum Elemental Resistances and we get a very very tanky setup. Coruscating Elixir There is one problem with our setup and that is Chaos Damage. Chaos Damage by default bypasses Energy Shield and given we are reserving all of our Life away for Ivory Tower, any Chaos Damage will just kill you. To stop this, you have 3 options, take Chaos Inoculation and be set to 1 Life which completely bricks our whole build. You could run Shavronne's Wrappings which we sent along with Ivory Tower. Lastly, there is Ivory Tower making all Chaos Damage be taken by your Mana first but.... what Mana? We have Blood Magic removing all of it. Luckily for us, there is a 4th option, Coruscating Elixir. What this Flask will do is make it so all Chaos Damage will not bypass Energy Shield while it is active. As long as this is going, you will not have to worry about it making everything work. While this might seem annoying or limiting at first, it really isn't that bad as long as you keep a few things in mind. First, this will be made much easier to use with us using a Forbidden Flesh & Flame combo to pick up the Pathfinder Ascendancy Node on Scion's first Ascendancy, Ascendant. With this, we will generate 3 Flask Charges every 3 Seconds giving us ~80% Uptime on Coruscating Elixir on its own. The only time this might get annoying is if you are in a Map with the Physical as Extra Chaos modifier. What could happen with that is that a monster hits you first before your Flasks turns on, thus killing you due to the Extra Chaos damage. This can either be dealt with by always turning your Coruscating Elixir on manually when starting a Map or entering a Mirage, or simply using a Regex to never do a Physical as Extra Chaos Map again. The Regex at the top of this section has been updated with this in mind. It is also worth noting that the Chaos Degen, Reduced Flask Duration and Charges Gained or Reduced Recovery per Endurance Charge Exarch Altar mods are also quite bad to run. You should try to avoid clicking on Altar options with these if possible. While they can be done, none of them are fun to actually get through a Map with. Lastly, this will make doing Sirus somewhat off limits until a high budget. Basically every single one of Sirus' attacks does Chaos Damage meaning without 100% Uptime on Coruscating Elixir, you will die. At a high budget you can just bypass this by simply killing him fast, but with "Low DPS," that won't be possible to do consistently enough. (Sirus at sub 20-30M DPS is also just annoying in general.) The "Reused at the end of this Flask's effect" Instilling Orb craft will greatly help with this. While this will require you to manually use the Flask at the start of every zone, with a bit of luck from the 20% Chance to not consume Charges roll on Pathfinder, you will have 100% Uptime for several minutes. This would make Sirus and any other scenario where you cannot generate Charges fast enough a lot easier to deal with. It becomes even better with a 30% Quality Flask which we will be upgrading into shortly after the swap. Swapping to Life Stacking Swapping over to the Life Stacking setup will require very specific gear that cannot be skipped. In total the setup should cost ~40-50 Divine Orbs for everything needed. ~10 Divine Orbs can be saved by skipping the Pathfinder Forbidden Flesh and Flame along with the Transcended Flesh and then just buying them later. Doing so might cause more annoyance with Coruscating Elixir and losing Transcended Flesh is a ~10% DPS loss which isn't the end of the world. NOTE - Please DO NOT sell your Pre-Life Stacking gear in an attempt to buy the final few upgrades to swap. You can easily brick your character. Just make the money needed, swap, and then sell your gear once you can confirm you have setup the Life Stacking version correctly. In total you will need: Either a Level 1 Cursed Ground Imbue on Temporal Chains or you must run the Cursed Ground support instead of Increased Critical Damage at a 30% DPS loss. A Rare Wand Rathpith Globe The Ivory Tower Shaper's Touch Corrupted with Despair on Hit A Rare pair of Boots A Rare Amulet A set of 2 Rare Rings A Rare Belt Coruscating Elixir The specific Flask setup in the Gear Section Unnatural Instinct - You should already have this The Balance of Terror - You should already have this Rational Doctrine A Watcher's Eye (Optional) A set of Pathfinder Forbidden Flesh & Flame Jewels Transcended Flesh Below we will go into a breakdown of each item and considerations to make for them. After that there will be crafting guides for the Wand, Amulet & Rings. Wand There is a Crafting Guide below. We will now be upgrading from the Chaos DoT Dagger you previously made over to a Wand. This Wand will have a very similar crafting process as the Dagger but it will be done with Spell Critical Strike Chance and Global Critical Strike Multiplier for your Suffixes. With the swap over to Life Stacking you will no longer be a Poison build and are now a Chaos Hit setup. This means we now want to focus on Spell Damage as the Hit will scale off of it along with Critical Strike Chance due to Rathpith giving us so much to work with. The Wand overall will be much cheaper to craft due to bases being cheaper while the Unveil at the end has 3 possible outcomes rather than just 1 for the Chaos DoT Dagger. Sadly there are no other useful Prefixes to craft onto the Wand so we will have 2 Open Prefixes. Thus, we will craft "x% to Quality of Socketed Gems" and socket Shield Charge, Faster Attacks & Frostblink into it for extra mobility. Rathpith Globe Rathpith Trade Link - https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Mirage/opjDW6JKhl Rathpith Globe will be one of our major scalers and is absolutely required for the Life Stacking setup to work. This Shield will give you both Spell Damage and Critical Strike Chance from just stacking Life and will eventually be how we get to 100% Critical Strike Chance. The one downside is the "Sacrifice 10% of your Life when you Use or Trigger a Spell Skill" which makes setting this up difficult. Due to how fast you will cast Temporal Chains, this will just end up killing you. To mitigate this, we are going to use The Ivory Tower to convert all of our Life into Energy Shield by reserving our Auras on our Life with Blood Magic. This then allows you to pick up Eternal Youth as a way to sustain your "Mana" costs through Rathpith constantly costing an extra 10%. Given how common Rathpith is, you should try to find a Corrupted one with either "You take x% reduced Extra Damage from Critical Strikes," "x% increased maximum Life," or "x% increased maximum Energy Shield." The Trade Link above will specifically search for these. The Crit roll is best for defences as we no longer are Crit Immune through The Brass Dome. The Life roll will be the best for DPS and some EHP while the Energy Shield roll will just be a worse Life roll. The Ivory Tower Ivory Tower Trade Link - https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Mirage/D68p3BaXS5 The Ivory Tower will be the basis of our defences. Given Rathpith will kill us if this is played as a normal Life based build, we must do something about that. While Out-Regenerating Rathpith is possible, it is not a good idea. Doing so means we cannot pick up Blood Magic for 10% More Life while also causing us to still have to deal with Mana problems. With Ivory Tower, we can Reserve our Life for Auras with Blood Magic while turning all of that Life into Energy Shield. When you combine this with Shaper's Touch and the Energy Shield per Strength scaling it has, we can end up with a bigger Energy Shield pool than the Life we started with. Ivory Tower is quite cheap so we will be looking for a Corrupted one with either "You take 50% reduced Extra Damage from Critical Strikes," "+1% to all maximum Resistances" or "x% increased maximum Life" as an Implicit. The Trade Link above will cover this and I DO NOT recommend to spend more than 1-2 Divine Orbs on this as you will not be keeping it for long. Later into the build, we will want to Chance Orb one ourselves for a very specific interaction so buying an expensive Double Implicit one will be pointless. As for 6-Linking it, it will be quite cheap. Simply take it to the Crafting Bench and set it to 4-Sockets if it is not already 5 or 6 Sockets. Then use Tainted Jeweller's Orbs for a 50/50 to add or remove a Socket. If it removes one and you go down to 3, use the 4 Socket Bench option again and keep going until you have 6 Sockets. Then, set it to 4-Links and use Tainted Orbs of Fusing in the same process, re-crafting 4-Links if you ever lose one and go down to 3. You can lastly use 1 Green to quickly color it correctly. Shaper's Touch Shaper's Touch Trade Link - https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Mirage/jW9jVLeLiX Shaper's Touch will be the other side of the combo with Ivory Tower giving you the large Energy Shield this build will have. This does mean you will lose Vixen's but that is completly fine as you dont need them to play Impending Doom. What we will do moving forward is to use Cursed Ground which will give your Temporal Chains no Duration, meaning Impending Doom goes off the moment the Cursed Ground dissapears. With Spell Cascade, the Cursed Grounds will replace eachother, giving you comfier clearing than before as you will now "1 tap" your Dooms making it snappier. This Cursed Ground is ideally going to come in the form of an Imbue on your Temporal Chains, replacing the Swift Affliction Coin Corrupt you previously had. It is a ~1/14 chance to hit Cursed Ground with a Coin of Knowledge making it a bit difficult to get. Until you do obtain it, you can replace Increased Critical Damage with Cursed Ground at a 30% DPS loss. As for Shaper's Touch themselves, we will want a pair Corrupted with "Curse Enemies with Despair on Hit" as we still want access to it. When paired up with Whispers of Doom on your Amulet, the Despair will permanently stay on the Boss while the Temporal Chains will cycle on and off. Rare Amulet There is a Crafting Guide below. Our Amulet is now going to be replaced with a Rare Amulet that has Life, Chaos Resistance and Strength on it. You will need either a Jade, Citrine or Turquoise base as the Dexterity will be required for now to equip everything. Lastly, for the craft, you will want to add "x% increased maximum Energy Shield" as a Prefix due to how large of a multiplier that is. Make sure to Quality the Amulet with Intrinsic Catalyst. Note on Boots & Rings In this setup we will need 1 Tier 2 or higher Fire, Cold and Lightning Resistance roll across 3 items. This is to be Resistance Capped without your Flasks active as we cannot rely on them due to them not having 100% uptime. The only place you will really be able to fit this is on your Boots and Rings. Keep in mind when buying a pair of Boots that you can use the Harvest Bench to swap Resistances meaning that it does not matter what Resistance they have as long as it is Tier 2. The same will go for when crafting your Rings, you do not care what Resistance you get when rolling them. Rare Boots Rare Boots Trade Link - https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Mirage/QLnZl0Z7Sw For Boots, we are going to opt into buying a pair as what we need is too costly to craft. Later on we will be making a new pair as these won't be that strong but they will do for now. All you are looking for is Chaos Resistance, Strength and one Tier 2 or higher Resistance. This Resistance can be of any type as you can Harvest swap it as mentioned above. Otherwise, you are looking for a high Life roll along with Movement Speed or an Open Suffix to craft the Hybrid Onslaught on Kill craft. Rare Rings There is a Crafting Guide below. Your new Rings are going to consist of 2 Vermillion bases as these can give 7% increased Maximum Life each. Along with that you are going to want Life, Strength and one Tier 2 or higher Resistance. This Resistance can be of any type as you can Harvest swap it as mentioned above. If you happen to get an Open Prefix, you can craft "+x to Energy Shield" or "x% increased Damage" and with a Suffix you can craft "+1 to Minimum Frenzy Charges." Make sure to Quality the Rings with Fertile Catalyst. Rare Belt Stygian Trade Link - https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Mirage/5nk2WMBnHa Lastly, for your Belt, there is not much you can do here as Belts are quite difficult to craft. For now, we will pick up a Stygian with Life and Strength on it with at least one Open Suffix to craft "x% increased Cooldown Recovery Rate" just like before. The Trade Link above will also have a Count Filter for various Flask mods. These are quite expensive but, you should set it to a Min of 1 and see if any are avaliable for 1-3 Divine Orbs. If not, turn it off and buy a Belt without a Flask Suffix. If your Belt happens to also have an Open Prefix and no Open Suffixes, you can then use a Hunter's Exalted Orb on the Belt to add a Hunter mod. Your 3 options are either Chaos Damage, Flask Charges on Crit and Maximum Life which are all great outcomes. Make sure to Quality the Belt with Fertile Catalyst. Flasks Coruscating Elixir Trade Link - https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Mirage/eRGyLgr9IL Sapphire & Topaz Trade Link - Quicksilver & Diamond Trade Link - Our Flasks are also going to change as you now will have new priorities. With Unwavering Stance, your Jade Flask is useless while with the lack of Armour bases, a Granite Flask will be quite weak. This will now be swapped out for a Sapphire and Topaz Flask complementing the Coruscating Elixir for Maximum Resistances. It is important to note here that you DO NOT want to rely on these to be active to be Resistance Capped and we are only using them for the Maximum Resistances. As long as you put together your Boots and Rings as mentioned, this should not be an issue. You also care about Critical Strike Chance so we will swap out the Sulphur Flask for a Diamond one. You will still want to keep the "x% increased Charge Recovery" Prefix while making sure to get a high Tier version of it as better Uptime is even more important. As for Suffixes, you will want to find either a Sapphire or Topaz Flask with "x% of Spell Damage Leeched as Energy Shield during Effect." The Tier of this mod does not matter as even the lowest roll is enough to hit Leech Cap instantly. You want it on one of these 2 Flasks as they have the best Uptime which is important for your only source of Leech. On the other of the 2, find it with an Open Suffix so you can craft "Regenerate 3% of Life per second during Effect." On your Diamond and Quicksilver Flasks you will want to look for "x% increased Critical Strike Chance during Effect" and "% increased Movement Speed during Effect." Your Diamond Flask will have much better Uptime than your Quicksilver will so it is up to you which of the 2 Suffixes you prefer on each. Make sure to Quality all of them to 20% and to craft "Used when Charges reach full." It is especially important for your Coruscating Elixir to have 20% Quality. Jewels Forbidden Flesh & Flame Trade Link - https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Mirage/lgob9o6pTV Watcher's Eye Trade Link - https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Mirage/2Krz73OoSk Rational Doctrine Trade Link - https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Mirage/OgLKdvPrUE Transcended Flesh Trade Link - https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Mirage/6zoE0w82hG This build will now have quite a few more Unique Jewels that it will want to use. You should already have an Unnatural Instinct and Balance of Terror so, lets discuss the rest. This setup will now want to get a Forbidden Flesh and Flame for the Pathfinder Ascendancy Node on Ascendant. With this, you will get ~80% Uptime on Coruscating Elixir which will greatly help on any Bosses that take longer. While this is not required, it is a very nice Quality of Life to have and will make some content much much easier. If you happen to feel like you do not need them, you can simply just grab 2 Rare Jewels with Increased Maximum Life and Strength on them. Now will also be the time to finally add in a Watcher's Eye and in our case we will be prioritizing the Discipline "Regenerate x% of Energy Shield per Second" mod. This will make your recovery feel quite a lot stronger and will act as a large defensive layer that only grows in power as the rest of your build does. As for a second mod there are quite a lot of options so the Trade Link above will have a Count Filter with all of them. Some of the options will be Offensive and some will be Defensive, it is up to you what you wish to go for. As for DPS, the Zealotry mods will be your strongest option. Rational Doctrine will be another piece of your recovery offering you permanent uptime on Consecrated Ground. While standing inside of it you will Regenerate 5% of your Energy Shield a second, making this very very strong. While playing around this Jewel might sound annoying, we will completly ignore the Intelligence part of it and only focus on the Strength part. Keeping 100% Uptime on Rational is also very easy as the buff refreshes every time you do anything including Shield Charging around. As long as you do not just hold down Left Click for 4 seconds straight with no other inputs, the buff will always be there. Lastly, Transcended Flesh will serve as a ~10-12% DPS increase when socketed into the Top-Left Scion Jewel Socket along with Unnatrual Instinct and Lethal Pride. This will only be temporarily used in the build as a quick source of extra DPS and will be phased out for a Rare Jewel with Life and Strength soon after. Lethal Pride There is one more Jewel we need to discuss, Lethal Pride. What this Jewel will do is add +4 Strength to every single node within its radius. Along with that, it will give every Notable an extra stat and we will use this to our advantage to gain a very large amount of Strength. The special thing about this Jewel is that it has both a Number that dictates the Seed of the Jewel and a Name that dictates what will happen to any Keystones inside it's radius. For the purpose of this build, we will complrtly ignore the Name and only need to focus on the Seed. What the Seed will do, is determine what added stats will be on every Notable in it's radius, and all Seeds are known. In our case we are looking to find one with a Seed that gives us as many 5% increased Strength additions as possible onto Path of the Warrior, Constitution & Sentinel. Sadly there is only one Seed that will give you 5% on all 3, 16464, but there are plenty that offer 2 5% Strength nodes. To find one is really simple as we can use PoB's "Find Timeless Jewel" button at the Bottom of the Passive Tree Tab to quickly generate Trade Links for them. To use it you must: 1. Click "Find Timeless Jewel." 2. Select: Lethal Pride, Any, # Iron Grip for the first 3 options. 3. Turn on "Filter Nodes." 4. Click on "Fallback Weight Mode" and pick "Sort by Hit DPS." 5. Click Generate. 6. Go to the "Fallback Nodes" tab and modify the last 0 in karui_notable_add_percent_strength, 2.206, 0, 0 to a 2, i.e karui_notable_add_percent_strength, 2.206, 0, 2 This will then cause PoB to only look for Lethal Prides with at least 2 5% Strength Nodes on our 3 Notable options. 7. Click "Search" at the bottom. You will now see a list in the right box with a lot of numbers. This list is sorted by DPS meaning the top line is the "best" possible Lethal Pride. If you hover over it, at the bottom you will see a Combined Weight which shows you the total power of that Jewel. Keep in mind given what we are looking for, quite a few will share the same total Weight making them as good as eachother. 8. Click "Copy Trade URL" and paste it into your browser. You are now looking to see if any of those are avaliable and if so for cheap. If there are none or are too expensive, simply click "Copy Next Trade URL" and paste that into your browser again. This will let you go through all of the numbers in order and it is up to you to find one for a reasonable price that you are happy with. Wand Crafting Guide This Wand craft will be very similar to the Chaos DoT Dagger you previously made using the same exact steps except with different mods. First, you will need to buy an Item Level 76 or higher Profane Wand with Fractured Tier 1 Spell Critical Strike Chance or Global Critical Strike Multiplier. Which Fracture you get will not matter as it will be the exact same price to craft in both cases. If Tier 1 is over 5-6 Divines, you can look into Fracturing it yourself as it should cost about the same. Fractured Wand Base Trade Link - https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Mirage/mkjvMmnrt6 1. Use Deafening Essences of Misery to guarantee Cast Speed until you get Tier 1 Spell Critical Strike Chance or Global Critical Strike Multiplier based on what Fractured Wand you bought. It is a ~1/98 chance to get Tier 1 Spell Critical Strike Chance or Global Critical Strike Multiplier. Once finished, you will now have a Wand with Fractured Spell Crit or Crit Multi, Essence Cast Speed & Tier 1 Spell Crit or Crit Multi. You will need 1 Open Prefix, if your Prefixes are full, you will need to use an Orb of Annulment with a 3/5 chance to remove 1 Prefix. If it removes your Cast Speed or Non-Fractured Suffix, you will need to use Essences again. Once you have defeated the Beasts, you will now have "Suffixes Cannot be Changed" on your Wand. NOTE - If you die, you will lose the Wild Bristle Matron. 3. Use a Veiled Chaos Orb on the Wand, this will reforge the Prefixes and add a Veiled Prefix. DO NOT UNVEIL. In very very rare occasions, this will also add 2 Prefixes to your Wand. If this happens, you can Unveil and hope to get either the "x% increased Chaos Damage, Chaos Skills have x% increased Skill Effect Duration," "x% increased Spell Damage, x% increased Mana Regeneration Rate," or "x% increased Spell Damage, Gain 5% of Non-Chaos Damage as extra Chaos Damage" mods. If you do happen to get it, you can either settle and be happy (this will be a small mobility loss), or you can try to use an Orb of Annulment to remove a Prefix. If it removes any of the mods you care about, you will either have to go back to Step 1 or Step 2 based on if it removed the Veiled mod or a Suffix. In most cases, you will have an Open Prefix on the Wand. Go to the Crafting Bench and craft any tier of "x% increased Physical Damage" on as a Prefix. Once you have done so, you can Unveil the Wand and hope to see any of the following mods: x% increased Chaos Damage, Chaos Skills have x% increased Skill Effect Duration x% increased Spell Damage, x% increased Mana Regeneration Rate x% increased Spell Damage, Gain 5% of Non-Chaos Damage as extra Chaos Damage Each mod has a 37.115% chance to show up. If you did not get any of the 3 mods, pick any other random mod. 4. With an Open Prefix, craft "x% to Quality of Socketed Gems" from the Crafting Bench. 5. (Optional) Craft the "Quality does not increase Physical Damage, Grants 1% increased Area of Effect per 4% Quality" enchant from the Harvest Bench. Make sure to Quality the Wand to 20%. This is a very minor increase to your clearspeed. Amulet Crafting Guide The Amulet craft will be very quick and simple. First, buy any Jade, Citrine or Turquoise base with Fractured Tier 1 Chaos Resistance. Any of the 3 bases will work as the only important thing is to get Dexterity on the Implicit in order to be able to put everything on. Ideally, you want to use a Citrine base as it will also give you Strength. Fractured Amulet Base Trade Link - https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Mirage/KlDdGkoDU5 1. Use Deafening Essences of Rage to guarantee Strength until you get Tier 1 Life. This is a ~1/50 chance. 2. You will need an Open Prefix, if your Amulet does not have one, you will need to use an Orb of Annulment to try and get one. If it removes the Life or Strength, go back to Step 1. 3. With an Open Prefix, craft "x% increased maximum Energy Shield." 4. If you have any other Open Prefixes or Suffixes, use Exalted Orbs in hopes to get something useful. 5. Use Intrinsic Catalyst to set the Amulet to 20% Quality and use Blessed Orbs to roll the Implicit to its maximum value. 6. Anoint Whispers of Doom. Ring Crafting Guide The 2 Rings we will want for the Life Stacking setup will be a bit annoying to craft as you will need to make 2 seperate ones without using Kalandra's Touch. On these, you will need to get Life, Strength and one Tier 2 or higher Resistance, ideally with an Open Suffix. You will also need to do this on a Vermillion base for the x% increased Maximum Life it has to offer meaning, you will have to Fracture your own base. Making a Fractured Base 1. First, buy Vermillion Ring bases from the Trade Link below. Ideally buy 5-10 to make this process faster. Ring Base Trade Link - https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Mirage/0288WRLOFg 2. Scour all of them and then use an Orb of Transmutation to make them Magic. 3. Put them all into one tab and then type "to maximum life" (with the "" around the text) in the search below. Use Orbs of Alteration on them until one lights up. When it does, check if it is Tier 1 Life. If it is, keep it to the side and if it isn't, then keep rolling. 4. Take your Tier 1 Life Rings and then use an Orb of Augmentation, Regal Orb and Exalted Orb to get a Rare Ring with 4 mods. 5. Use a Fracturing Orb with a 1/4 chance to Fracture the Tier 1 Life. If you fail, go back to Step 3 with a new Non-Fractured base. Repeat this until you have 2 Fractured Tier 1 Life Vermillion Rings. Fractured Ring Crafting 1. Use Deafening Essences of Rage to guarantee Strength until you get a Tier 1 Elemental Resistance of any type. This is a ~1/30 chance. The "All Elemental Resistances" mod will NOT be enough on its own and you must hit a Tier 1 Resistance. 2. If you do not have an Open Suffix, use an Orb of Annulment in an attempt to make one. If it removes your Strength or Resistance, go back to Step 1. 3. With an Open Suffix, craft "+1 to Minimum Frenzy Charges." 4. Go to the Harvest Bench and use the Resistance Swap crafting options to change the Resistance on your ring to the type that you need. Across your Boots and 2 Rings you will need one of each type of Resistance to be Resistance Capped without your Flasks active. 5. Use Fertile Catalyst on the Ring to Quality it to 20% and use Blessed Orbs to roll the Implicit to its maximum value. Midgame - Low Hanging Fruit At this point in the build, its time to take care of a lot of easy upgrades that make quite a big difference. This is mostly going to pertain to you upgrading all of your Skill Gems and Support Gems to either 21/20 or 20/20. While individually some of them might not make a massive difference, in total having everything be qualitied at a minimum is a noticable difference in build power, especially when it comes to mobility. Some gems to prioritize are: Shield Charge Faster Attacks Frostblink Purity of Elements - Quality matters. Zealotry, Discipline, Flesh and Stone, Vitality, Precision - Quality dosent matter. After those, simply just go through the rest and at a minimum 20% Quality everything. This should come out to a total of ~3-4% EHP and ~5% DPS increase. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Step 7-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Now that you are past the initial swap over to Life Stacking, it is time to start pushing the build further. Step 7 will focus on setup for Step 8. While the initial setup puts you at ~1k Strength, we need to push that much further. With this step you will be adding in Cluster Jewels which will be ~DPS neutral with your Passive Tree setup. This is to greatly push your Flat Strength to then be multiplied by all of the massive % Strength upgrades Step 8 will bring. After that you will pick up your first Strength multiplier and finishing it up with a Forbidden Shako which will be a 5-25% DPS increase. Video Update on Step 7 - https://youtu.be/y4AHxnSThEU Midgame - Cluster Jewels Finished Cluster Jewels Trade Link - https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Mirage/vePGK3EjUE Our first upgrade will be to upgrade our Passive Tree with 2 12 Passive Cluster Jewels. On these we want to get 35% increased Effect along with Tier 1 Life and Strength. This will make every single Small Node very strong and should net you a slight increase to your total Energy Shield. These will be very very simple to craft with the most difficult part being getting the initial Fracture on the 35% increased Effect. In total it should cost ~5 Divine Orbs per Cluster Jewel. There is a more advanced version of the Clusters which will be your BiS Clusters that includes All Attributes as the 4th Affix. Making a perfect one will cost ~40-50 Divine Orbs per and will also be covered in the crafting guide below. I do not expect you to jump to a full Life, Strength & All Attributes Cluster to begin with. Just Life and Strength. Cluster Jewel Crafting Guide First, you must buy an Item Level 84 or higher 12 Passive Chaos Damage Large Cluster Jewel. This will then have to be Alteration Orb rolled until you get the "Added Small Passive Skills have 35% increased Effect" mod. Afterwards you need to use an Orb of Augmentation, Regal Orb and Exalted Orb to make it have 4 mods. Once done so, you will use a Fracturing Orb in hopes that the 35% increased Effect is Fractured. Cluster Jewel Base Trade Link - https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Mirage/opPpmg4KUl 1. With your Fractured 35% increased Effect Cluster Jewel, go to the Harvest Bench and use the "Reforge a Rare Item... including a Life modifier" option on the Cluster Jewel. This will either give you Maximum Life or Life Regeneration every time with a 1/8 chance for it to be Tier 1 Life. You will be using this option until you also get Tier 1 Strength, in total this is a ~1/350 chance per Reforge Life to hit. Once you have done so, simply Exalted Orb slam the Cluster if it has room, if you hit a Notable, you must try again. (Optional) Advanced BiS Cluster 2. Instead of simply using Reforge Life until you hit Tier 1 Strength, you will now be looking for either Tier 1 Strength or Tier 1 All Attributes, this is a ~1/150 chance. 3. If there is another Suffix on the Cluster Jewel, you must use an Orb of Annulment to remove it. If it removes the Tier 1 Life, Strength or All Attributes, go back to Step 2. 4. Use an Exalted Orb in hopes to hit Tier 1 Strength or All Attributes based on what you are missing. This will be a 1/75 chance to hit. If you do not get Tier 1 Strength or All Attributes, use an Orb of Annulment in an attempt to remove it to try again. If this fails, go back to Step 2. Midgame - Rare Jewels Rare Jewel Trade Link - https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Mirage/rPjqVwYRfQ You will now have 4 Jewel Sockets to fill in. For now, you can use the Trade Link above to find suitable Jewels. The Trade Link will have a Sum below every Jewel you can click to sort by it. The higher the Sum, the better the Jewel. Later on we will be replacing these with Magic Jewels with an Adorned. Due to this you should not spend too much money on them and limit yourself to 2-3 Divine Orbs per Jewel. Midgame - Bound By Destiny Bound Trade Link - https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Mirage/mkZK6ZoMH6 It is time for a very FUN upgrade to the build, Bound by Destiny. What this Jewel does is give you various bonuses for having multiple copies of Influenced gear equipped. In our case, we want to use one that gives you "x% increased Strength if 2 Warlord Items are Equipped." With this, you will gain a massive increase to your Strength but the question is, how will we get 2 Warlord items? Chancing. What you will need to do is to obtain a Warlord The Ivory Tower and Rathpith Globe. With this, we can add the Influence into our build with no downsides or annoyance when crafting gear. This should be quite simple to do as The Ivory Tower is the expected outcome when Chancing Saint's Hauberks and Rathpith is guaranteed from Titanium Spirit Shields. What we will be doing is going one step further by Awakening the base with a Shaper item so that both of them have Warlord and Shaper Influence. This is due to there being another Bound by Destiny mod that we will want later into the build, "+2% to all maximum Elemental Resistances if 6 Shaper Items are Equipped." While this will require... 1-2 Mirrors worth of budget to actually activate, you might as well get your Ivory Tower and Rathpith setup for it now to save yourself from doing it later. Even if you do not plan to push the build that far, this will give the items better resale value than just Warlord by itself. 30% Quality Saint's Hauberk Trade Link - https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Mirage/ky7Zz4Vri5 Shaper Body Armour Trade Link - https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Mirage/Kle46DGMh5 30% Quality Titanium Spirit Shield Trade Link - https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Mirage/4m3Q0ZD8C9 Shaper Shield Trade Link - https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Mirage/QLZqoB6pHw To do this you must: 1. Buy (ideally) a 30% Quality Saint's Hauberk and Titanium Spirit Shield. 2. Make both Rare and then use a Warlord's Exalted Orb on them to give them Warlord Influence. 3. Buy any Shaper Body Armour and Shield from the trade links. The Base or Item Level does not matter. 4. Buy an Awakener's Orb and then: Click the Orb -> CLICK THE SHAPER SACRIFICIAL BASE NEXT (Do not Click the 30% Base as your 2nd Click) -> CLICK THE 30% BASE LAST (3rd Click). (Please read the Awakener's Orb tooltip to make sure you understand the order. If you do it wrong you will delete the 30% base you bought and not the sacrificial Shaper one.) You will now have a 30% Quality base with both Warlord and Shaper Influence on it. 5. Buy an Omen of Fortune and then click on the base with an Orb of Chance. This will instantly turn a Titanium Spirit Shield into a Rathpith Globe. As for Ivory Tower, there is a SMALL chance that it will turn into a Doryani's Prototype rather than an Ivory Tower. If this happens, you must try again. 6. Use a Tailoring Orb on your Ivory Tower until you get the "x% increased Explicit Defence Modifier magnitudes" Enchant. This should only take ~5-10 Orbs in total to hit and will raise the 30 Energy Shield to 32 giving you ~5% EHP. I would HIGHLY recommend settling for 8% as anything higher than that is very very very very very expensive. Midgame - Flask Upgrades 30% Quality Coruscating Elixir Trade Link - https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Mirage/PPrQ5mRGFL It is now time for some Quality of Life. We will now want to upgrade our Coruscating Elixir to a 30% Quality version. With this, when combined with the "Reused at the end of this Flask's effect" Instilling Orb craft, will give you 100% Uptime for minutes at a time. This should make things such as Sirus and The Feared a lot easier to deal with. While this does mean you must manually use the Flask at the start of every Map and Mirage, the superior Uptime is very much worthwhile. To obtain one with 30% Quality, simply buy an Inventory of Coruscating Elixirs and then, Quality all of them to 20% and put the "Reused at the end of this Flask's effect" craft on them. After, use a Vaal Orb on them in hopes that they have their Quality raised to 30%. It shouldn't take more than 24-48 Flasks to obtain 30%. Midgame - Forbidden Shako (READ THIS SECTION BEFORE CLICKING THE TRADE LINK) Shako Trade Link - https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Mirage/JBd4OolJUl The final upgrade for Step 7 will be to move on from Foulborn Doedre's Scorn to a Forbidden Shako. This Helmet will roll with 2 Support Skills on it, one Low and another one High. The High one can roll from Level 30-35 meaning this can give us an Impending Doom higher than what is possible on Doedre's Scorn. Impending Doom Shakos can get VERY expensive quickly so the recommended level to upgrade to will simply be based on your budget. Every level above 30 is a 5% DPS increase meaning a 35 would be a 25% DPS increase over Doedre's Scorn. vvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvv PLEASE READ THIS PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE vvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvv The thing about Shako is the Low Support on it. Some Supports that come with Impending Doom will simply be Bricks. These Bricks will make the item unusable, making it no better than a paperweight. Some examples of this are: Cast on Death, Hextouch, Spell Totem, Brutality ect.... These are all Supports that either make it so you can't press Temporal Chains, reduce the speed at which you can Cast, or mess with Impending Doom's DPS. The Trade Link above has attempted to filter these out but... there are too many Support Skills in PoE. Before buying a Shako, PLEASE go to Lilly and READ what the Support Skill that comes with your Impending Doom does. Make sure that it cannot possibly mess you up. You can always buy one and socket it into your Doedre's Scorn to see if it does anything bad. Midgame - (Optional) Foulborn Witchbane Witchbane Trade Link - https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Mirage/Yp9mJ3XgsY One optional upgrade you can look to make is going to be a Foulborn Witchbane. This Jewel will give you the Explosions that we had from Beacon of Madness back which feels quite good in high density content. Due to our DPS at this point, I would not recommend to buy these unless you are doing specifically Breach or Simulacrums. It is quite hard to notice the difference in any other content but for Breach it makes a very big difference. I would also recommend potentially buying 2 copies as the % Chance to Explode does stack, only making it stronger. Simply replace one of your Rare Jewels with them. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Step 8-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- (Optional) Midgame - New Balance of Terror Balance of Terror Trade Link - https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Mirage/X3meXlBkUP One optional upgrade you can look to make is to find a 2-Mod Balance of Terror. In our case, this will give you Immunity to Action Speed Reductions which is an amazing stat to have for Valdo Maps and any Delirium related content. It also makes Temporal Bubble not an affix anymore that basically bricks your build. It is quite expensive so it is up to you if you wish to spend money on it. Midgame - Mageblood Mageblood Trade Link - https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Mirage/Z6KmYGb8CQ It is now time to finally bite the bullet and save for a Mageblood. The final Midgame upgrades you will be looking to make are quite difficult to do due to Resistances. Up until now, the goal has always been to Resistance Cap without your Flasks active due to them not having 100% Uptime. With Mageblood, Enkindling Orbs and 25% increased Effect on your Sapphire and Topaz Flasks, you now have significantly more Resistances to play with. This will then open up the ability to gain a significant amount of DPS through a new pair of Boots, Rings and an Amulet. Mageblood Flasks Flasks Trade Link - https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Mirage/pJEoL7bdf0 You will now want to swap out from using a Quicksilver Flask over to a Silver one. Since you are about to gain more Cooldown Reduction from a new pair of Boots, we need more Cast Speed to keep up. For Prefixes, you now need to get 25% increased Effect on all 4 Flasks. Your Suffixes will stay the same with the only difference being swapping out the Spell Leech Suffix for Elemental Resistances. You can also opt to get rid of the Movement Speed Suffix for Spell Leech if you wish to keep it. Leech was a nice defensive layer to keep but in a lot of cases it was quite useless. Play around with it and see what you personally prefer. The Trade Link above will have all of the Suffixes in a Count. You should look through listings on all 4 Flask types and figure out which combinations are the cheapest. Once you have done so, turn off the Count and turn on the Empty Suffix search to find the last Flask that you will craft "Regenerate 3% of Life per second during Effect" onto. Once you have your new Flasks, you need to use Enkindling Orbs on them until you roll "70% increased Effect." You should not settle for anything lower than 70% as the cost of rolling it in comparison to the cost of Mageblood is miniscule. All of Mageblood's power is in how strong it makes your Flasks and anything lower is leaving power on the table. Midgame - New Boot Craft With Mageblood, we no longer need Resistances on your Boots meaning it is time to upgrade them to something much better. You will now want to get a pair with Elevated Shaper Cooldown Reduction on them along with Elevated Hunter x% increased Strength. The Shaper Cooldown Reduction will be a massive DPS increase that will also get you closer to having 6 Shaper for your Bound by Destiny. Boot Crafting Guide The Boots will consist of 2 Steps, first Elevating the Shaper CDR and Hunter % Strength mods, and then Awakening Orbing them together and finishing the craft. Crafting Elevated Shaper Boots 1. Buy Item Level 86 or higher Shaper Influenced Boots. Boot Base Trade Link - https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Mirage/9zDk52oRfK 2. Use Orbs of Alteration until you get Tier 1 Cooldown Reduction. This is a ~1/163 chance. You will need an Open Prefix, if you do not have one, use an Orb of Annulment. 3. Craft "Suffixes Cannot Be Changed" and then use a Craicic Chimeral to create an Imprint of the Boots. Ideally make 2-3 Imprints. If you fail Step 6 and come back here, make sure to always have an Imprint so you do not need to start from scratch. Chimeral Trade Link - https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Mirage/LgBKnDG5Tn 4. Use a Regal Orb on the Boots, if this happens to give you another Shaper Mod you can move on to Step 6. 5. Go to the Harvest Bench and use the "Reforge an Influenced Rare Item with random modifiers, including an Influenced modifier." If this happens to give you more than 1 additional Shaper mod, you must Orb of Annulment it off. You are looking to have CDR and 1 other Shaper modifier in total. 6. With CDR and 1 other Shaper mod, use an Orb of Dominance for a 50/50 chance to Elevate the CDR. If it removes the CDR, use the Imprint on the Boots and try again from Step 3. You should end with a pair of Boots that have Elevated CDR on them with NO OTHER Shaper mod. Crafting Elevated Hunter Boots Follow the exact same steps as the Shaper Boots but with x% increased Strength. NOTE - This has 2 Tiers and you MUST roll for Tier 1 x% increased Strength when Alteration spamming. This should also be crafted on a Warlock Boot base. Boot Base Trade Link - https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Mirage/vejXK66DUE You should end with a pair of Boots that have Elevated x% increased Strength and NO OTHER Hunter mod. Awakening Orb & Finishing 1. Use an Awakener's Orb to combine the 2 Elevated Boots together. You should click on the Shaper Boots first, then the Hunter Boots second so you are left with a Warlock Boots base at the end. You must have 1 Open Prefix. If you do not, you must make one. If you happen to have an Open Suffix, you can use a Farric Lynx Alpha to move one Prefix to a Suffix. If not, you must then use an Orb of Annulment. If the Orb of Annulment happens to remove the Elevated CDR or Strength rolls, you must start all over again. 2. You must have no Empty Suffixes left. If you have one, craft any Prefix from the Bench and then use Exalted Orbs on the Boots until the Suffix is filled. 3. Remove the Crafted Mod and use a Wild Bristle Matron to add "Suffixes Cannot Be Changed" to the Boots. Use an Orb of Scouring to remove all Prefixes and then apply "Suffixes Cannot Be Changed" again. Wild Bristle Matron Trade Link - https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Mirage/wvl03269Fb 4. Use a Veiled Exalted Orb on the Boots. This will remove the "Suffixes Cannot Be Changed" and give you a Veiled Modifier. DO NOT UNVEIL YET. 5. Craft "+x to maximum Life" on the Boots and then Unveil with a 57.459% chance to get any of the 3 Movement Speed rolls. If you do not get Movement Speed, go back to Step 3. 6. With an Open Prefix, craft "+x to maximum Mana" and then use a Foulborn Exalted Orb in hopes of hitting Tier 1 Life or Energy Shield. 7. Craft "+x to maximum Life" or "x% increased Energy Shield" if the Foulborn Exalted Orb gave you Life. (I hope you got to appreciate just how awful most crafting systems are in PoE and how garbage RNG like Orbs of Dominance, Awakeners Orbs & Orbs of Conflict seriously need to be reworked because its VERY VERY fun to have to go: Oh guess I need to start again and all my crafting so far was pointless because I failed 1 RNG check) Midgame - New Ring Craft Kalandra's Touch Trade Link - https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Mirage/7nZrgpJ6f5 After you finish the Boots, it will then be time for a new Ring. We will now be looking to craft a Helical Ring that you will then create a 2nd copy of through Kalandra's Touch. On this Ring we can get 4 Suffixes allowing us to Fracture Critical Strike Multiplier, roll for Strength with Essences, and then combine it with All Attributes and Chaos Resistance. This will be quite costly to fully craft and will take a few attempts to finish, but this will get you your Chaos Resistance back while also being a large upgrade. Ring Crafting Guide First, buy or Fracture a Tier 1 Critical Strike Multiplier Item Level 82 or higher Helical Ring. Non-Fractured Trade Link - https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Mirage/V5l0g4YdHp Fractured Trade Link - https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Mirage/lgJepE8ksV 1. Use Deafening Essences of Rage to guarantee Strength and roll for Tier 1 All Attributes. This is a ~1/293 chance. You will need an Open Suffix and Prefix. If you do not have them, you must use an Orb of Annulment to make room. 2. With an Open Prefix and Suffix, craft "Suffixes Cannot be Changed" then go to the Harvest Bench and use the Add/Remove Chaos option. This will Remove the "Suffixes Cannot be Changed" and give you Tier 1-6 Chaos Resistance with each having a 1/6 chance to show up. Ideally, you want Tier 1 Chaos Resistance and it is up to you what you wish to settle for. If you do not like the Tier you got, you must attempt to remove it with an Orb of Annulment. If it removes the Strength or All Attributes, then you must go back to Step 1. If you do remove the Chaos Resistance, you can craft "Suffixes Cannot be Changed" again and try another Add/Remove Chaos. 3. (Optional) Divine the Ring as best as you can. 4. Craft "+x to Maximum Life" in the Open Prefix. 5. Use Intrinsic Catalyst on the Ring. Midgame - Simplex Amulet Simplex Trade Link - https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Mirage/aLkpWYBBTe The final gear upgrade of the Midgame is to get a Simplex Amulet. This Amulet can only have 1 Prefix and 2 Suffixes on it, but the upside is that those modifiers are 100% stronger. With that in mind, you will want to get one with x% increased Attributes, x% increased Strength and 1% increased Damage per 15 Strength. This will be a ~35% DPS and ~20% EHP increase over your previous Amulet and will be your BiS for the rest of the build. Sadly, these Amulets are awful to craft. Normally these would cost ~1 Mirror to craft, but another creator, Sushi, has come up with a new crafting method for them making this significantly cheaper. Even with that, it is very easy to mess it up and it comes with an awful 50/50 into 90% chance that you must succeed at the end of the craft in order to finish it. Due to this, it is much much easier to just farm an extra ~80 Divine Orbs over the average cost to craft one and just purchase one for ~200 Divine Orbs. NOTE - PLEASE CHECK THE MOD TIERS WHEN BUYING ONE. While all of them SHOULD be all Tier 1 affixes, some people mess up the craft and will make one with a Tier 2 Suffix. Look at the Tiers on the Left and make sure it says S1 S1 P1 and there is no S2 or P2. Midgame - Animate Guardian Kingmaker Trade Link - https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Mirage/X3m5lPKKCP Mask of the Stitched Demon Trade Link - https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Mirage/Bg327P9wF8 Foulborn Ghostwrithe Trade Link - https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Mirage/kyjVpVkjS5 Southbound Trade Link - https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Mirage/LgBJPX9BSn Endurance Ralakesh Trade Link - https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Mirage/02n5LlVOFg Imbued Animate Guardian Trade Link - https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Mirage/veP05rZZCE It is time to get a friend in this build! At this point, we are deep enough into the build to consider this as the cost to payoff ratio is now worth it. What we will want to do now is to add an Animate Guardian into our setup that will provide us with all of the benefits of a Kingmaker. With this, you will gain Culling Strike, 50% Crit Multi, 10% Less Damage Taken and they will take 15% of all damage for you through Companionship. This will cost a bit of money to set up as it is all or nothing. Our goal here is to simply make them as tanky as possible so they never die while giving us the buffs of Kingmaker. Even if they do die, which they shouldn't with 180k Max Hits and 40% Regen per Second, you can simply resummon them again in the next Map without them losing anything. (I do need to point out, PoE is bullshit and your tankiness doesn't matter at times. Even with how tanky the Guardian is, he will likely die in extremely super super juiced content like 100% Deli Beyond Breach or Valdo Maps.) To make them this tanky, we will be abusing Mask of the Stitched Demon along with Foulborn Ghostwrithe to convert a portion of their massive Health Pool into Energy Shield which is then converted into Health Regeneration. You will then also give them Southbound for the large amount of Health they provide and an Endurance Charge pair of Ralakesh for both Endurance Charges and Corrupting Blood Immunity which is very important to them. To fit this in, you will get rid of your Cast when Damage Taken & Flame Golem setup and move your Automation and Steelskin into the same item as your Zealotry and Eternal Blessing. This will then make space for 3 Sockets in one item allowing you to link Animate Guardian - Companionship - Empower. Make sure to get a Level 4 Empower as it makes a very big difference. As for the Imbue on the Animate Guardian, you ideally want to look for Minion Life as the single best option with Meat Shield being a close second. You can always upgrade to Minion Life later, the Animate Guardian's items are tied to your character so all Animate Guardian Gems will share the same gear. Once it is all set up, go to any zone, drop the items on the ground, then while hovering over them, use your Animate Guardian skill to permanently delete the items, equipping them onto the Guardian. NOTE PLEASE READ THIS - Once set up, you should REMOVE the Animate Guardian skill from your bars. Make sure it's gone from both your Main and Secondary bars AND make sure it is NOT on either bar on your Weapon Swap. This is to prevent you from accidentally ever hovering over some identified item on the ground and accidentally pressing the Animate Guardian key, overriding whatever they had equipped, causing you to have to buy a new item to replace it. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Step 9-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- (Optional) Endgame - New Wand Craft With you obtaining the Shaper Boots and the Simplex Amulet, you now have 5 Shaper items equipped for Bound by Destiny. To get the 6th one, it is time to craft a new Wand with Shaper Influence on it. This is Optional and honestly... a pain in the ass to do. It is also... VERY VERY VERY EXPENSIVE TO DO THIS. For this, you will be doing the Wand craft we did before but without a Fractured mod on it as we need to use a Shaper's Exalted Orb at the end to finish up the craft. For Suffixes this will mean that you will Essence spam with Deafening Essences of Scorn until you get Tier 1 Cast Speed with an Open Suffix and Open Prefix. Once you have done so, you must craft Suffixes Cannot Be Changed and then Add/Remove Crit which will either give you Crit Multi or Local Crit Chance (which does nothing). It is a 1/9 chance to get Tier 1 Crit Multi so it is up to you for what you want to settle on. Once you have a Wand with T1 Spell Crit Chance, T1 Cast Speed and some Tier of Crit Multi, you can move on to Prefixes. The Prefixes are going to be crafted in the same way as before. If you fill your Prefixes from the Veiled Chaos Orb (very very very small chance), you will have to get an Empty Prefix. Once you have Spell Damage or Chaos Damage from the Veiled Chaos Orb and an Open Prefix, you can then use a Shaper's Exalted Orb to make the Wand Shaper.... giving you 6 Shaper for Bound by Destiny. Endgame - The Adorned The last big upgrade for the build will be to add in The Adorned. This Jewel will make all of your Corrupted Magic Rarity Jewels stronger which fits in perfectly into this build. On Jewels, the only stats we truly care about is x% increased Life on the Prefix and +x to Strength on the Suffix, meaning we are more than fine with Magic Jewels. Adorned will have some breakpoints attached to it meaning the one you buy will be based on what you can afford. In total there are 3 that we care about: (All numbers between the ranges are IDENTICAL and make 0 difference, buy the cheapest one between the numbers.) 86-93 - The second to last Breakpoint for x% increased Life, raising it from 7% to 13%. 93-99 - The second to last Breakpoint for +x to Strength, raising it from 16 to 31. 100% - This raises Life from 13% to 14% and Strength from 31 to 32. This also raises all +2% Maximum Resistances from 3% to 4%. Basically, try to buy an Adorned that is at least 86% or higher. The 93-99 bracket is honestly a very tiny increase for quite a large increase to cost. Ideally, you should try and save for a 100% Adorned if you can. Without it you will only get to 89% Maximum Lightning and Cold Resistance along with 88% for Fire. You can sacrifice 1 Jewel to then pick up an Impossible Escape for either Imbalanced Guard or Avatar of Fire if you wish to supplement this and want to become tankier. Crafting Adorned Jewels Synthesised Strength Jewel Base Trade Link - https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Mirage/3qj2rwaZU5 Synthesised Spell Leech Jewel Base Trade Link - https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Mirage/WvQmDBQZSm Adorned on its own is well... a paperweight. Without Corrupted Magic Rarity Jewels it does nothing so.... we must make some. The neat thing about this is that you can go in many directions with this and tailor this to your personal needs. At the core of it, you will want x% increased Life as the Prefix for every single Adorned Jewel. For the Suffix, you will want 2 Jewels with +2% to Maximum Fire Resistance along with 1 Jewel for Maximum Cold and Lightning. One thing to keep in mind here when going for these, is that you can use the Harvest Bench Resistance Swap to change them, making getting the one you need 3x easier and it can be used to Divine the Max Res for free. On all other Jewels you will want to go for +x to Strength. Another option is to instead go for Reduced Bleed or Poison Duration if you wish to become Immune to them. This will require 3 rolls without a 100% roll or 2 with 100%. When actually crafting them, you are going to get Synthesised bases. The Synth Jewels will simply be superior as you will gain quite a lot of additional power, but will be significantlly harder to roll, taking a lot more clicks. The upside of Synth Jewels is that when it comes time to Corrupt them, it will be much cheaper as you can use a Blessed Orb to undo the Hinekora's Lock rather than having to re-craft the whole thing again. As for the Synthesis Implicit we want, +x to Strength is by far stronger than any other option. You should also ideally find one with "0.2% of Spell Damage Leeched as Energy Shield" on it to get Leech back into your build. Do note, there are 2 Tiers of the Strength roll, one that goes from 1-3 and another that goes from 4-5. You should ideally buy 4-5, especially if you have a 100% Adorned. Jewel Crafting Guide 1. Purchase Synthesised Jewels with +x to Strength on them. Ideally, buy more than what you need to make the crafting faster. 2. Use a Primitive Chaotic Resonator with a Gilded Fossil to add the "This Item sells for More" Implicit. This will be important later on when Corrupting. 3. Use Alteration Orbs to spam for the desired mods. Once you get one of them, you should use Orbs of Augmentation and Orbs of Annulment to try and finish the Jewel. Rolling for Life & any Maximum Resistance is a ~1/2,940 chance while rolling for Life & Strength is a ~1/1,294 chance. You should throw all of your Jewels into a normal Tab and use the Search at the bottom to filter for the mods you want. This will then allow you to alternate between clicking on many Jewels at once, significantlly speeding up the process. Once one of them lights up, you can then attempt to finish it from there. Regex - 4. Divine Orb the Jewel to maximum rolls, do not settle. If going for a Maximum Resistance Jewel, you only need to Divine the Life as the Maximum Resistance can be "Divined" through the Harvest Bench by constantly swapping between 2 Resistances. 5. Bless Orb the Synth Implicit if you have not done so yet. 6. Buy a lot of Craicic Chimerals and Black Morrigans. Craicic Chimeral Trade Link - https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Mirage/LgBKnDG5Tn Black Morrigan Trade Link - https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Mirage/glkVJGp5UQ Yellow Beast Trade Link - https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/exchange/Mirage/KZglvRDh5 7. Take your finished Jewel to the Menagere and use the "Apply a Hinekora's Lock To a Magic Item" option. You should then Right-Click on a Vaal Orb and then HOVER over the Jewel to see what will happen. The ultimate goal here is that nothing happens and the Jewel gains the "Corrupted" tag. The other possible outcomes are turning the Jewel into a Rare Rarity one or giving it a Corrupted Implicit. The worst outcome is the Rare Rarity which, if the Hinekora's Lock shows you as the outcome, you will need to use a Blessed Orb to change it. If it is the Spell Leech Jewel... you have to recraft it. The best outcome is that you also gain a Corruption Implicit and, it is something useful such as Corrupting Blood Immunity, Hinder or Maim Immunity, Reduced Poison Duration or Reduced Effect of Curses. This is VERY rare to see and will likely mean that you will have to go through hundrets of attempts if you wish to become Curse or Poison Immune. For the absolute pinnacle Jewels, you would want to win the 50/50 that the "This Item sells for More" Implicit gets chosen to be replaced, allowing you to keep the +5 Strength while gaining a Corruption Implicit at the same time. Endgame - Voices Voices Trade Link - https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Mirage/V5lOMRZlTp The final upgrade is to replace your Cluster Jewels with 3 or 1 Passive Voices to then be able to fit in more Adorned Jewels. This is significantly stronger and if you got to this point, I dont really need to explain this to you any further. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Step 10-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mirror - Final Aspirational Upgrades There are a few more things you can do, its up to you if you wish to waste Mirrors chasing them down. It is up to you to figure out what you want from this setup, its all quite unreasonable gear for one person to obtain. You can also mess with the Adorned Jewels more to get Bleed and Poison Immunity. If you somehow finish everything here, I hope you enjoyed the build! It was fun to play Impending Doom again and it was neat to try it as a Life Stacker! This build will likely only work for 3.28 as Reliquarian will get different nodes in 3.29. If it is somehow viable to make this work with the new nodes, I will update the guide for it. .
