======= Leveling =======
For leveling you have a few options:
1) Level with Viper Strike (this requires a mule) 
2) Level with some Witch skill (Rolling Magama + Flame Wall or Freezing Pulse or whatever) until you can acquire Viper Strike from Siosa in Act 3. 

Personally I'm going to mule for Viper Strike, for this we start by making a Shadow. Go through Strand and once you get to town, check vendors for sockets/links and movespeed boots, once done you dump all the gear into your stash and then go back to character creation (don't log out on league start!).
Then create a Witch character and clear Strand, once you get to town grab your gear from stash and check vendors. 

See "Gem Progression" for info on when to acquire what gem for this method. 

As for leveling uniques, look at the various leveling items listed in the Items tab.

Gem progression is listed by order of pick up and is done around leveling with Viper Strike. 

== Mule 
Viper Strike - Free Start - Shadow mule
Chance to Poison - Free Start - Shadow mule

== Act 1 
Blight - Free Reward - Act 1 (Enemy at the Gate from Nessa) - Note: You can pick this up on the Shadow as well if you want to
Contagion - Free Reward - Act 1 (Breaking Some Eggs from Tarkleigh)
Frostblink - Free Reward-  Act 1 (Breaking Some Eggs from Tarkleigh)
Void Manipulation - Free Reward - Act 1 (The Caged Brute from Nessa)
Withering Step - 1x Orb of Transmutation - Act 1 (The Caged Brute from Nessa)

== Act 2
Arctic Armour - Free Reward - Act 2 (Intruders in Black from Gruest)
Cruelty - Free Reward - Act 2 (Sharp and Cruel Yeena)

== Act 3 
Despair - Free Reward - Act 3 (Lost in Love from Clarissa)
Swift Affliction - Free Reward - Act 3 (A Fixture of Fate from Siosa or Clarissa) - Note: You can choose between this or Blasphemy, doesn't matter for the cost
Blasphemy - 1x Orb of Chance - Act 3 (A Fixture of Fate from Siosa or Nessa) Chance
Faster Attacks - 1x Orb of Transmutation - Act 3 (A Fixture of Fate from Siosa)
Ancestral Call - 1x Scroll of Wisdom - Act 3 (A Fixture of Fate from Siosa)
Added Chaos Damage - 1x Orb of Alchemy - Act 3 (A Fixture of Fate from Siosa)
Whirling Blades - 1x Orb of Transmutation - Act 3 (A Fixture of Fate from Siosa)
Herald of Agony - 1x Orb of Alteration - Act 3 (A Fixture of Fate from Siosa)
Plague Bearer - 1x Orb of Alteration - Act 3 (A Fixture of Fate from Siosa)
Alchemist's Mark - 1x Orb of Alteration - Act 3 (A Fixture of Fate from Siosa) (NOTE: Not 100% on this, wiki says no, but it's definitely available from Lilly Roth at end game)

== Act 4
Mark on Hit - 1x Orb of Alchemy - Act 4 (The Eternal Nightmare from Petarus and Vanja)

From here on out you have all the gems you need for leveling. For the End Game skill setup you will be able to get any gems you might need from Lily Roth in Act 6 or in the End Game. 





======= Ascendancy Order =======
1) Profane Bloom --> because Chaosplosions ! Use Despair.
2) Void Beacon
3) Withering Presence --> we need it to cap max chaos res
4) Unholy Authority --> Add Alchemist's Mark.




======= Leveling Tips =======
Some general advice for levelling:
Wasp Nest claw and Bino's Kitchen are very cheap.

When you begin Atlas, it should not be hard to cap your chaos res with the help of Ascendancy.

Maximize Withering Steps with 20% quality and an Enhance gem, to inflict a lot of Wither stack at once.
