Start with those Gems in Act 1 as far as possible:

Smite - Ruthless - Ancestral Call
Raise Zombies - Ruthless - Minion Damage

Treat Smite like it is your Domination Blow Link and add/replace Gems when you can.
Treat Raise Zombies like it is you Herald of Purity and add/replace Gems when you can. You should at least keep the Zombies around untill you have Dominating Blow.

Act 3 after "Sever the Right Hand" (the "Kill Gravicius" Quest) and onwards:
Dominating Blow - Melee Splash - Predator ( - Minion Damage ( - Increased Critical Damage ( - Brutality)))
Herald of Purity - Predator - Minion Damage (- Increased Critical Damage)

Raise Spectre ( - Minion Life ( - Meat Shield))

If you are unsure what to get first, follow "top = first" to "bottom = last" and "left = first" to "right  last"
I'd aim for the following Spectre Order:
"Carnage Chieftain" - "Host Chieftain" - 2nd "Carnage Chieftain" 

If you want to you could try a "Arena Master" instead of a 2nd "Carnage Chieftain"

Gems that might be worth Considering, but I decided against for Endgame are:

Summon Holy Relic
Flesh Offering (I couldn't fit "Flesh Offering" and "Desecrate" permantly)
Rallying Cry
Convocation (in my humble Opinion, Mark the Prey from "Predator Support" did a good enough Job to get Minions to keep up)
Ruthless (can be switched in for "Awakened Melee Splash Support" during Single Target Boss Fights, like Sirus)
