Notes
// LEVELING // use Sunder with a 2h axe for the entire campaign / early maps Sunder Added Fire Dmg (swap to Fist of War in A4) Close Combat (swap to Brutality in A4) Melee Phys +Close Combat (if 5L) +Ruthless (if 6L) Path towards Resolute Technique (pick it up sometime in A3/A4) don't forget Spirit of War for mana leech! FOR BANDITS: help Alira FOR ASCENDANCY: you can literally ignore your Ascendancy until you reach maps and are ready to swap to Dual Strike. if you want to min-max, you can first choose the Ancestral Commander ascendancy and then swap over to Antiquarian later. only do this if you know what you're doing! MASSIVELY more detailed leveling guide - full-hand-holding at every point of the Acts - inside of this build > https://pobb.in/p_JOuGVM9wjp copy the link, go to "Import/Export Build" at the top-left, paste the link in the appropriate box ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------SWAPPING TO DUAL STRIKE--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Keep using Sunder until you're around level 80 and have ALL of the following items: 1) Nightgrip 2) Ynda's Stand (be sure to defense catalyze it!) 3) Elegant Hubris > commissioned by Caspiro (# is irrelevant right now) this is only necessary once you complete Uber Lab and allocate Lioneye's Hair place this jewel in the socket next to Unwavering Stance and allocate the keystone (it will turn in to "Supreme Ostentation") remember to change up your starting passives to save points! 4) Rare Armor/Evasion body armor with at least 2k to each armor AND evasion 5) Frostbreath (mainhand weapon > save up for Paradoxica ASAP) try to get one with the corrupted implicit "%chance to gain an endurance charge on stun") 6) A rare sword with high attack speed only (you'll use a claw once you obtain Paradoxica) 7) Dual Strike of Ambidexterity (GET TO 20% QUALITY ASAP!) you'll also likely need 15-20 Orbs of Regret (maybe more, depending on how much gold you have!) to change your passive tree over, so factor those into the cost as well. ASCENDANCY ORDER: Kalguuran Armor > Starlight Reflector > Runic Tablet > Lioneye's Hair (keep Resolute Technique until you complete Uber Lab!) Use the drop-down menu in the top right to see what skills and passives you should use at this stage be sure to run Summon Skitterbots or else your Frostbreath will not deal double damage! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------OBTAINING PARADOXICA--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- once you have Paradoxica (with AT LEAST "chaos pen" [cheap] but preferrably also "crit chance" [expensive]), you then MUST change your offhand weapon to a claw instead of a sword look for attack speed + crit multi on the claw (prioritize speed) with a "life gain on hit" basetype (Imperial Claw is best) there are MANY upgrades to work towards past this point, such as a Thread of Hope + better Elegant Hubris (whose good nodes are inside of the Thread's circle) use the "ENDGAME" variation to see my exact character
