Notes

Leveling

Pick up Blight at lvl 1.
Pick up Contagion at lvl 4.
Pick ip ED when you Enter the Merveils Cave at lvl 12.
Cast ED, cast Contagion move on.
If it's a boss, same thing but add Blight to it.

IMPORTANT: Once you get the 1st Ascendancy for frenzy charges, either equip Blood Rage or start using the trap setup with the node "Master Sapper"
Recommended to use the trap setup as it also applies when fighting bosses.
If you don't wanna start trapping that soon then just avoid the trap nodes on the tree until you feel comfortable using them.

Tree

First 20 levels or so focus on life and damage so you can just use the blight, ed, contagion setup easily.
Up to level 35 we start focusing on traps and their survivability by taking the Trap Mastery "traps cannot be damaged"
Up to level 55 it's good to start focusing on Evasion/ES base items as it helps with the ascendancy, we get some mana reservation nodes as well so equip some auras
Up to level 67 we focus on Spell suppression and some AOE
Up to level 75 we start equiping jewels and picking up rest of the damage nodes, last ascendancy gives damage based on different masteries taken so make sure you have as much as possible
Up to level 95 swapping some starting nodes and rounding up the build

Skills

Playstyle
Mapping: Throw ED trap, cast contagion, keep running
Bossing: Throw ED trap, cast contagion, place Wither totems, curse with Despair

Essence Drain of Desperation - your main damaging skill, you will need to buy it of off a player or farm it in the Labyrinth, must be used with traps otherwise it WILL kill you

Contagion - the thing that spreads the damage of ED, needs a bunch of AOE and cast speed

Despair - Amplifies all your damage, use on tough monsters

Frostblink - link it with Culling strike (can be swapped with Flame Dash)

Steelskin - linked to Automation so it can activate preemptively (MUCH BETTER) as opposed to reactively (WORSE) with CWDT

Arrogance - needs to have auras linked to it so your life goes below 50% to trigger Pain attunement for 30% more damage - Vaal Clarity socketed into gloves + Aspect of the Spider crafted on the gloves

Note: When buying corrupted body armours take note of the colors that you need for your gems that you'll be placing inside (check under skills)
Look out for attributes on gear

Weapon: Cane of Kulemak (can now rarely drop with 4 stats) Chaos damage multi > Mana regen > Spell damage
Body Armour: Dopplegangers guise - BiS due to the physical damage reduction - DONT make yourself Insane, staying sane gives a lot of protection
Boots: Life > Movement Speed > Avoid ailments > Spell Suppression > Resist
Gloves: Life > Spell Suppression > Resist > AOE
Helmet: Life > Reservation Efficiency > Spell Suppression > Resist > AOE
Rings: Life > Att > Resist > Mana Cost/Regen/Channeling
