IF YOU ARE HAVING FUN YOU ARE WINNING! **USEFUL INFO** Must know vendor Patterns 1 ruby, topaz, sapphire ring + magic wand + alteration orb = flat damage to spell wand. the wand will be lvl 8 if normal ring is used, 14 if magic ring is used, and lvl 20 if rare ring is used. 1 iron ring + gem = Resist ring(red = ruby, green = Topaz, blue = sapphire) 3 flask of same size = 1 flask of the next size normal boots + Quicksilver + orb of augmentation = Magic boots with 10% increased movement speed Regex for early vendor(blue blue blue/green, 10% movespeed, flat ele damage, +1 lightning wand) "b-b-g|b-[bg]-b|g-b-b|nne|derha|Heat|roste|Humm" ALWAYS ATTACK WHILE MOVING There is a checkbox on each skill for always attack while moving. check it. it will allow you to attack/cast in place. If it is not checked you only cast if you have a name lock. otherwise you will walk to the position and then cast. PICKUP MAGIC AND RARE ITEMS! In the early game you get transmutaion shards from selling unidentified magic and rares. You get alteration shards from selling identified rares and magic items. Start with frostbolt (first quest reward) and stormblast mine(1 wisdom scroll). you want 2 elements because you can encounter blue monsters with a high level of resist in either element ENTER SUBMERGED PASSIVE you want to add several skills Frostblink(quest reward) for mobility, Frostbomb(1 wisdom), holy flame totem, flamewall(1 wisdom), and Spark(1 wisdom). Also, pickup steel skin and put it on left click and check the box to always attack while moving. This will make the guard skill auto trigger as you move around blocking incoming damage! MEDICINE CHEST QUEST Grab Onslaught and also buy arcane surge. Leave arcane surge at lvl 2 so that using your movement skill will always trigger it. Adds 10% more multiplier to spells while active. LOWER PRISON Grab added lightning and link it to spark. Grab Combustion and link it to Holy Flame Totem. This will lower the fire resist on bosses. Since we are using flame wall and sparks pass through it they will get added fire damage. UPPER PRISON BEFORE BRUTUS if you picked up magic and rares you should have a alteration orb and a transmutation orb. You should craft a wand here (see the first section). A flat ele damage wand will double your damage for the brutus fight. Even better if you can craft two! PRISON GATE At this point it is a bit preference. Leapslam is good if you are going to dual weild sceptres. Flamedash if you are sticking to wands. Adding vitatlity here is always good. Merviel's Caverns pick up stormbrand and at least 1 sapphire ring. You can also pick up ARC and use that isntead of spark, but you won't get the flat damage from flame wall. DO WHAT YOU THINK IS FUN! ACT2: at this point you should be cruising at lvl 20 if you have rare rings you can craft much stonger flat damage wands. Otherwise add more links to stormbrand and spark. Herald of thunder, Herald of ice, and Controlled destruction ACT3: DETERMINATION, GRACE, and Snipers mark ACT4: Spell echo AFTER KITIVA you lose -30 all res remember to coutner act that and fix your gear before continuing. you can use purity of elements instead of grace if you need to! when you get your 2nd ascendancy and have regen on both life and es the game should be easymode.
