Notes

It's hard to explain everything with written guide. If you want more detailed info & guide, watch the full video please.

estimated cost: 10d ~ 160d+
the build works great even without Astramentis Stellar Amulet.(I tested)
But without Stellar Amulet and 2nd weapon set, It'll be harder to deal with bosses.
If you want cheaper version, get rid of Headhunter and Stellar Amulet. It'll still work very fine.(Detailed explanation below)

You use 3 Whirling Slash. Main one and 2nd one and 3rd one.
lower level is better for 2nd one, but it's not that important. Honestly almost no difference, since you're gonna use it only a few times while mapping.(or even just 1 time at the start)
But I strongly recommend you to get low level gem for 3rd one.
3rd one is for moving when you have no enemies around. It's not for DPS, so thw lower the better(less mana cost)

Use 2nd Whirling Slash when you start mapping, and then, just spam the main one.
If you happen to leave the area of vortex, you'll need to remake vortex again with the 2nd one.

btw I strongly recommend you to use level 5 skill gem for Rapid Assault too.

Against bosses, use 2nd weapon set and spam Rapid Assault for 1~2 second.
Then Spam primal strikes.

If your Whirlwind is lightning, this is pretty much it.

If your Whirlwind isn't lightning, it's better to use Orb of Storm first before attacking boss.

---gears

Spear1: Attack Speed is neccessary. Dexterity feels good to have. get ones with highest DPS. Physical or elemental, doesn't matter that much honestly(ele slightly better).

Spear2: Increased stun buildup is very good option for second spear! other than that, just aim for higher DPS. Attack Speed doesn't matter with 2nd spear.

Sacred Scepter: If you have enough currency, buy sacred scepter for 2nd weapon set.
If you don't have money, then maybe just don't equip anything in offhand.

Helm: Get ones with more than 15% increased attributes. They're affordable. But if you're out of budget, prioritize Dexterity and Intelligence.
If you wanna use rare helmet, get one with highest defence options.(Armour, Evasion, Energy Shield, Anything you prefer.)
And you should get resistances too if you're gonna use rare helmet.

Body Armour: You have 3 options. 'The Coming Calamity Heroic Armour', 'Morior Invictus' and just regular rare ones.
whatever you choose, you'll do alright. It's up to your preference.
For me, Morior Invictus > The Coming Calamity > Rare Body Armour

For Morior Invictus, I think [+#% To Chaos Resistance Per Socket Filled] and [+#% To All Elemental Resistances Per Socket Filled] is must.
But the last slot, you can choose whatever you want. I recommend one of these three. [All Attributes] or [Maximum Life] or [General Defence]

Rings: Look for attributes & flat damage.
Priority for attribute: All Attributes = Dexterity > Intelligence.
Flat damage will make your DPS stronger, attributes will make it feels nicer to play.

Amulet: Get Astramentis Stellar Amulet. If you don't have money, get rare one. it'll decrease your DPS, but the build still works very fine. I tested it.
If you decided to use Rare amulet, aim for [Rarity, Max life, Spirit, Attributes, Resistance, Melee skill, Mana regen], whatever you want.

Howa: Get one with 1 to '12' Lightning Damage to Attacks per 20 intelligence. They're pretty affordable

Boots: Get one with 3 Elemental Resistance. again, if you have enough budge, aim for maximum life too. But you don't need move speed at all.
Also, you can get [Wake of Destruction Secured Leggings] and manually swap it for shocking ground.

Headhunter: Aim for ones with more attributes. Again, prioritize Dexterity over Strength.
But you can use other Belts too if you're out of budget. It's not mandatory

Flask: Unique flask better. But if your budget isn't big, just use anything.

Charms: Get anything you want, But I recommend you at least using freeze charm. Unique one is better.
If you're a baller, you can add 'Rite of Passage' and 'The Fall of the Axe' charm. I haven't tried myself, but I think They're gonna perform incredible with this build.

Jewels: Aim for #% mana on kill, #% life on kill, and increased area of effect.

If you're lucky, you'll be able to find juicy Megalomaniac jewel on the market.

it's not mandatory, but feels better to have one.
Btw I might have missed some good nodes in the trade link. you can check them out and add yourself too.

---Gems

For the 2nd whirling slash, if you don't have enough money for Perfect Jeweller's orb, get rid of 'magnified effect'.

If you're using 'The Coming Calamity' Armour, Put 'Swift Affliction' support gem on Herald of Ash.

And 'Innervate', 'Culling Strike', 'Longshot' for Herald of Thunder.
