Notes

I DON'T recommend this build on a budget if you are not comfortable with setting up a character. You can make it work for less than 10d but it will require some game knowledge.
 I would play lightning strike slayer instead, it should be much smoother and straight forward on a budget.

What is the difference between the different versions?

Leech: MASSIVE recovery via leech, up to 7K ES / sec, as long as you are hitting. If you are not hitting you have no recovery. Solve this with using a Writhing Jar Unique Hp flask and then hit the worms to get leech back.
Much easier to set up on a budget. More damage than armor setup.

Armor: Higher Physical Dmg Reduction, basically immortal in maps thanks to aegis + block, however sacrifices damage.

LEVELING:
While playing lightning strike post campaign pre ES swap, you should be using a trinity setup with an elemental damage claw.

SPECTRE:

Dark marionette linked with guardian's blessing and haste and use it when the spectre is alive for a dps boost

MANDATORY UNIQUES:
Ephemeral Edge (doesnt have to be corrupted)
Voice of the storm

WHAT TO PRIORITIZE BUYING AFTER MANDATORY UNIQUES:

1. Shavronne's Revelation
2. Good ES gear
3. Light of meaning % ES or % lightning dmg if budget
4. Good rare jewels
5. Ephemeral Edge with Resolute Technique
6. Good clusters
7. Forbidden Flame / Flesh
