This is a Lightning Conduit Trickster POB we are emulating it with Shock Nova.

MOST people are starting Elementalist - I think Trickster has potential though and we are abusing some interesting mechanics that should be fun!

LIGHTNING CONDUIT requires a shock on the enemy in order to deal damage - so we are most likely using Orb of Storms for this while mapping, the plan is to switch to Storm Brand for bosses, but this might work for map clear too.
Shield Charge clearing might also end up being a thing with a 4-link shield charge (likely Shield Charge, Faster Attacks, Overcharged, Unbound Ailments) and Wrath Aura. 

THE VERTEX so with Divine Blessing no longer working with Lifetap we now have a couple of new options to use Divine Blessing - most notably The Vertex or EB/MoM (you can also gear for really high %mana reduction and alt quality inspiration)
for this character specifically we are using The Vertex because it scales really well with Trickster already and allows us to use Divine Blessing in the Helm slot.

ACCUMULATOR WAND this is a very enticing idea when combined with SWIFT KILLER ascendency node would allow us to generate all charges with 30 second uptime (would take a while to ramp and would need 100% charge node to guarantee uptime)

THUNDERFISTS will be pretty strong most likely for UBERS and whatnot to guaranteee high shocks (might be irrelevant but likely good)

DEFENSES ON THIS CHARACTER this character is not running Determination - so it has no armor, this might scare off a lot of people however I believe with Phys Taken as Ele chest craft + Endurance Charges + Aspect of the Crab we will have
no issues with physical mitigation - this will mostly be a problem early on before we acquire these things.

ENERGY RECHARGE (Spellbreaker) vs LEECH (Soul Drinker) most people are under the assumption that you will want both of these, unfortunately they do not work well together, or at least you cannot scale them both effectively at the same time.

ENERGY RECHARGE for es recharge you really want Wicked Ward + recharge rate / faster start of recharge rate on the tree, this becomes a lot stronger with proper investment.

ES OVERLEECH for es leech you really want Ghost Reaver + MAX total recovery per second investment - unfortunately Ghost Reaver disables ES RECHARGE completely.

IN CONCLUSION in my opinion you should really invest in one of these or the other. For this POB specifically we are investing in Spellbreaker, if you take a look at the recharge rate in the calcs it is 5000 ES Recharge (REGEN with wicked ward, doesnt
stop at full ES) with ES Overleech you can reach similar numbers, but at the cost of constantly having to keep leech up or risk not being full ES (sounds really bad for boss intermissions specifically or map backtracking)

ASCENDENCY NODE ORDER 

ONE STEP AHEAD in normal lab, this basically gives us 8% action speed that never runs out (which is base tailwind) as well as slowing our enemies slightly. This also makes us immune to freeze, and chill which can be quite annoying early and it
also opens up Pantheon options. This can also lead to some interesting self-temp chains endgame gearing. Basically just an all-around useful and good node that helps early leveling speed.

POLYMATH in cruel lab, this is still coming online when you grab it but it will serve as a nice power boost and give you all the mana,es,life on kill you will ever want.

SWIFTKILLER in merc lab, the current plan for this character is to somehow abuse OOS, Icebite, Prolif, Overcharged for early mapping, so this or blood rage would be the ideal way to generate frenzys for that. 

RESPEC SWIFTKILLER for Uber Lab, and grab ESCAPE ARTIST and SPELLBREAKER the current plan is to drop swiftkiller for Uber Lab and grab both Escape Artist and Spellbreaker at the same time.

ESCAPE ARTIST escape artist does not do much for Merc Lab, as you most likely do not have a good chest yet (if you do, by all means go for this)

SPELLBREAKER we have decided to go with Spellbreaker over Souldrinker as explained above - this could change as I progress the character though.

START NON-CRIT we are planning on doing Lucky Lightning Damage Mastery + Elemental Overload early on before we get crit nodes. Likely Non-crit all the way to maps.

THIS IS A RISKY START but feel free to play along with me! I really am interested in trying out the new Trickster and I really like testing new skills as well, this POB and league start plan sounds good in theory but we won't know until we play it!
