More Flicker Strike Builds according to Community Feedback (and coming in the future, sorry im busy atm to add more builds to the PoB) -------------------------------- - Self Bleed Reflect Flicker Strike Slayer - Dual Wield Block Chance Flicker Strike Gladiator - Int Stacker CI Flicker Strike Trickster - Impale Rage Flicker Strike Berserker - Trauma Flicker Strike Juggernaut - Scorch Fire Flicker Strike Warden - Physical Terminus Est Flicker Strike Berserker FAQ -------------------------------- - How to use Flicker Strike at Level 38 In order to use Flicker Strike at Level 38, you need Multistrike (Quest in Act 4) and Close Combat (Quest in Act 2). You need to buy a Lifetap support from Nessa in Act 1. In order to maintain Frenzy Charges, make sure to have Bloodrage up while clearing zones. Poacher's Mark and Mark on Hit will also help with that. - I struggle on Bosses during the Campaign? Use Double Strike on Bosses. This can be used with the same support gems as Flicker Strike - Why does this build not do 100 million DPS? It can! Easily, just spend another 500 divine orbs and you get there. Make sure your unique items are all double corrupted, get Forbidden Flame/Flesh, Watchers Eye and Cluster Jewels. Impossible Escape (Resolute Technique) and a great Legion Jewel are very pricy. Also, you want to have more Passive Skills available, therefore you want to aim towards Level 100, which I dont do in this PoB. - But your build is not cheap at all, but so low dmg? We are talking about a difference 10x times the investment. The items that are included in my Endgame setup have not been min-maxed, and only list the important stats. You can get a cheap double influenced belt, but imagine you want to include the Essence mod on it with Elemental Penetration, suddenly it turns into difficult and expensive crafting. - I cannot reserve all auras? Later in the Endgame, we use Enlighten. Before that, make sure to exactly check the Skill Gem breakdown to see how and why we use certain Auras. Also, we leave Precision on a lower level so we are still able to use our skills - I struggle with Attributes? Carnage Heart (Amulet) can help with that, and should cost you around 1c. This build requires 155 str, 111 int and 155 dex. - Is Hatred still viable with Cold Damage? Yes, but its a small difference. Hatred will be stronger than Haste, as soon as you reach higher damage. Hatred will only grant Phys damage as extra Cold, therefore we need to maximize our damage. - Which Bandit to kill? If you dont care respeccing later, we would start with helping Alira, so we have an easier time getting resistances in the Early Game. Later we want to have the extra passive point and respecc into killing all bandits (Eramir). - Whats the budget on your Endgame setup? Conservatively 50 div. Counting Rakiata with 10div and Farruls Fur with 20div. Other items like Yoke of Suffering, Abyssus and Darkray Vectors are very cheap items. - Leveling with Splitting Steel sucks, what else? Due to convenience, I decided to start with a skill that can use Two-Handed Swords so you dont have to respec alot. If you dont care about respeccing, go with Sunder and 2-Handed Axe. - Is Rakiata's Dance good on Warden? Problem here is that we treat enemies resistance values as inverted. With 2x Scorch applying -60% Fire Resistance to enemies, would negate that effect with Rakiata's Dance. - Seems your Warden has some issues in Pob? Its more difficult to build a Warden in comparison to a Slayer. More reserved Mana with Barksin, one 'regular' Flask is gone too. Rage talents are great, but so far away. Important Notes to players that are new to Flicker Strike -------------------------------- - Your Resistances will be a struggle! Be careful with that, use a Bismuth Flask if needed - If you cant kill a mob instantly in maps, dont attack him too long, there might be on-death explosions on the floor around him - Attribute requirement without Legion Jewel will be 111 int, 155 dex and 155 strength Leveling Notes for Slayer -------------------------------- - We help Alira, but later we want Passive Points and have to respecc - In Act 3, go to Library to replace some Gems - Only use Purity of Elements instead of Flesh and Stone if you have 4-Link for Splitting Steel and Lifetap in it - At Level 38, we switch to Flicker Strike with Poacher's Mark and more Frenzy Charge Talents Crafting Advice -------------------------------- - Double Influenced Essence Belt (not for Slayer) 1. Create a double Influenced Stygian Vise (Itemlevel 86+) with Warlord and Redeemer Influence by Awakener Orb 2. Use Essence of Hysteria until you achieve Melee Damage during Flasks 3. Clean with Annulment so you have 1 open Prefix and 1 open Suffix 4. Craft 'Suffixes cannot be changed' 5. Reroll with Speed mod in Harvest to obtain the 2nd Suffix 6. Make sure you have an open prefix, and craft "Suffixes cannot be changed" 7. Reroll with Attack mod in Harvest to obtain Elemental Damage with attacks. 8. Craft Suffixes cannot be changed 9. Veiled Orb (50% to hit the crafted mod) and craft Armour & Evasion to block most mods from Jun -> 100% chance to get Flask Effect 10. Craft Increased Damage - Double Influenced Gloves 1. Use two different gloves, one with Warlord, one with Hunter influence. One of those gloves should be the Spiked Gloves base 2. Achieve the desired influence mod on each gloves (+1 Maximum Frenzy, Strike skills hit 1 additional enemy). You can elevate them if you want 3. Use Awakener Orb and create a Spiked Gloves with both influenced prefix mods. (3.5 If you have a free Prefix, congrats!) 4. Make sure to have a free suffix, craft 'Prefixes cannot be changed' and clean the item with Scouring Orb (4.5 If your item now has only 2 influenced mods, you hit the jackpot. Craft 3 crafted mods, prefixes cannot be changed and a random prefix) 5. Craft Prefixes cannot be changed again, then Reroll with Speed mod in Harvest. (5.5 if your did hit the jackpot before, craft again 3 crafted mods, prefixes cannot be changed and a random prefix thats not veiled) 6. Craft Prefixes cannot be changed and then Veiled Orb. Craft Dex/Int hybrid to block the most mods. 7. Unveil into Elemental Damage/Global Crit Strike Chance hybrid 8. Craft a Prefix if its open 9. Go to bestiary and augment Aspect of the Cat skill
