Frequently asked questions:

Venom Gyre or Cobra Lash?
They have similar damage, but different playstyles. if you like bow skills, cobra lash feels similar to that kind of archetype.

How do you level with Venom Gyre?
From my testing, Venom Gyre feels bad for early stages, and this PoB shows a leveling progression for Cobra Lash until the start of maps. (you can socket Venom Gyre + Fork any time you want if you want to see how it looks like)

Other Ascendancies?
Warden, Assasin and Slayer seems to be the best options after Deadeye. Deadeye is better for leaguestart because of Tailwind + additional projectiles.

What bandits?
Allira (+15% Elemental Resistances). This will make it easier to get res capped so you can get more dexterity from items.

How do you generate charges?
There are couple ways you can get charges:

Frenzy Charges
1) Mark mastery (good on bosses)
2) Blood Rage

Power Charges
1)Whirling Blades + Power Charge on Critical
2) Corrupted weapon implicit
3)Wind-up cluster notable

Endurance Charges
1) Enduring Composure
2) Endurance charge on kill veiled mod on rings
3) Anoint Disciple of the Unyielding

Can you farm T17 with this?
Trinity version feels similar to bow builds that use trinity, and as same as those, it cannot kill T17 bosses.
Dex stacker version can farm T17 maps. (Showcase video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=INMhfbWDIiI)

How good is defences?
This is a squishy build, but tankier than a bow build because you can use shields.

Can you run Risk Scarabs?
at the endgame version, you can run most of the mods on T17s. for example:
Reflect Elemental damage: use Awakened Elemental Damage
Reflect Physical damage: use lightning or chaos mastery for 40% conversion (Venom gyre has 60% chaos conversion so this makes it deal no physical damage.)
Cannot Regenerate: Leech
Monsters can Block: Attack Mastery (Monsters Cannot Block)
These are some examples, but this build is not super tanky, so rolling too many damage mods will be deadly.
