Notes

**** Axe ***
Start with an axe that has fractured hybrid phys. By that I mean #% physical damage + accuracy.
Roll with Deafening Essence of contempt for flat phys roll to be guaranteed.
You're looking for High, preferably T1 ofc, % physical damage.
Should you hit T1 phys, and you have an open suffix, you lock prefixes and scour off the suffixes.
Remove the lock. Replace with multimod.
Multimod Phys Dot multi and Attack Speed.

**** Shield ****
The shield in this PoB is synth, not shaper.
You will not be able to get shaper mods if you go for a synth shield, but with their current price as of making this PoB they are too cheap to not be the obvious go-to.
It just makes landing the final item infinitely easier.

***Tinctures***
Tinctures in PoB doesn't have their full roll range, so I had to import one from Trade. Please forgive me for this non-Pob item, but I have no way around it atm.

*** Life Rolls ***

I have intentionally kept the life rolls down on the gear to simulate a sort of minimum. You could, and should, get better life rolls than these.

*** Light of Meaning ****
If you want to reduce suffix pressure, you can run a Light of Meaning Chaos resistance instead of Physical damage. This would cost you about 2.5 million dps, so roughly a fifth, but that jewel is 73% chaos resistance in this pob so it does wonders for suffix pressure.

****Flasks *****
The sulphur flask doesn't truthfully do very much except for minor damage and conc ground on bosses. It's nice, but it's not important. Feel free to swap this out.

The Silver flask doesn't numerically do much here, but I reccomend keeping it. Lacerate feels pretty bad mechanically when the attackspeed drops too low, and this is already pushing it somewhat.

If you have access to one, running a Progenesis over the Quicksilver flask is a massive upgrade defensively.
A few things to keep in mind, though. We're not a pathfinder, it does not have permanent uptime. Having a progen does *not* permit us to drop chaos resistance on gear. Do not do that. You will die.

*** Enduring Cry *****
If you feel like you already enough endurance charge sustain, and enough health regen, you can swap the Enduring Cry setup to something else. The build should be tanky enough for most things at this point. I prefer the regen and the guaranteed charges, though.

*** Points ***

The final 4 points are spent going to Heart of the Warrior, for extra life. You can spend them otherwise, if you prefer.
The frenzy charge is a reasonable option, so is Master of Wounds. That is, if you want damage.
In terms of general defences, nothing will compete with the value of those life nodes. You could always take the frenzy charge, the final life node behind Golem's Blood as well as the two life nodes behind Bloodless.
Heart of the Warrior route is generally speaking just better, though.
