Level 86 ish, transition to lowlife bloodmagic bloodnotch Cast when stunned.

25% Resistance overcap

Make sure that during ultimatum, your resistances are at least 90% (115%). It is very common to get exposed (-25% resistance) in ultimatum.

Physical Max hit

EVEN 10k phys max hit, is enough for white t16 ultimatums. In Ultimatum there is very little raw physical damage. Majority of the damage is consecutive 
elemental hits which require massive recovery (bloodnotch).

Spam essence of Horror on an Elder Influenced Helmet for Burning Damage, and/or Concentrated effect for a 6/7 link Fire Trap.

look for armour bases, for some nice base armour. evasion and suppression currently useless because of left side tree.

Use lesser eldritch embers to get easy implicits for early-mid game settle.

MUST level petrified blood to 20/20 asap


T16 version nodes to cut, probably use node power to identify the worst nodes.


LEGACY

In the past, hinder was considered to be manadatory and/or required. It seems after more careful testing, what you want is 
actually impale immunity if your character isn't that strong yet.

HINDER IMMUNITY - debatable

Hinder is a requirement for more difficult ultimatums. It is probably ok to do without during very early league but ideally you want it.
There are a few options for hinder immunity. The two best options are either a hinder implicit on an abyss jewel, or protection mastery for 1 point. 
It is up to you to decide which one is more feasible at the time. You could get a good jewel, while using 1 point, or save one point and use a worse jewel.
