Level 11 Hybrid Toxic Rain Ranger^3.26

Notes

Levels 1-12 suck, I've tried a lot of starting skills I'd reccommend either spectral throw, cobra lash, or caustic arrow.
Play whatever you want until (level 12) Toxic Rain/icicle mines, I chose toxic rain because at the time of this guide pconc was just nerfed. 
We use this skill so we can efficiently make a path to switch to mines. 

Before icicle mines

 looks for movement speed boots, any/cold wand , g g w

Icicle Mines

looks for movement speed, +1cold/any and b-b-w

Weapon for toxic rain just get a high attack speed bow.
Gear is just anything with resistance on it, look for +cold spells on amulet, shield, and weapon slots.
Priotize getting bitterdream, heatshiver, and clusters early on ((before red maps)). 

#####Act 1#####
You can use shield charge if you have a weapon swap if you're using a bow skill but it's pretty scuffed.
Buy frostblink from the vendor, after medicine chest. Don't level frostblink, until later at the switch.
Buy a level 1 clarity, can level it up/use it as you need (level 3-5max). Or drop as you need. 

#####Act 2#####
Buy trap and mine damage and level in your off-hands. (not neccessarry)
Grab herald of agony

#####Act 3#####
You NEED to do library to buy icicle mines to level it. Otherwise you will do no damage at the switch, a level 1 skill will do no dmg.
Buy efficicy from Siosa.
When you can get act 3 do the library and from Siosa, buy icicle mines, charged mines and other skills ( mainly icicle mines and supports to level ) ; level them in your offhand. Most likely wont be able to buy them all at this point in the game.
I don't suggest switching right now unless you're playing trade and can get bitterdream early on.
Grab alchemist mark. 
Grab grace/haste & malevolence as well. Once you have you aura's spec into charisma for the reservation. Then go for the mana reservation nodes,if you're having trouble with mana.

#####Act 1-5#####

Be on the lookout for gear for the switch ( weapon, 3 blue 1 green socket gear ) can always gamble evasion/energy based gear, if that's your plan make sure you have enough gold for each point for the respec as well. 

#####Act 6#####
You need about 5,000 gold minimum for the switch. Make sure not to gamble too much. If you don't just delay the switch for an act.
If you can't switch the entire tree it's fine, just make sure you have the damage wheels.
I usually switch after Act 6 when you get minefield from Lily and can fill the damage wheels out in the 'switch to mines tree' make sure to grab zealotry and skitterbots as well. Any other skill you might've missed.
You might need to put off the switch to get some levels as well. The switch should be done when you can fill all the damage wheels. It's no big deal if you need to delay the switch by an act for levels.

#####labs#####
1. [First lab] Take gathering winds
2. [Second lab] Take chain to help with clear and spec into chain / will spec into pierce later so can choose Far Shot instead
3. [Third lab] Take more projectiles
4. Up to you, I took Focal Point for the tanky rares, I've seen people take the extra frenzy charge.

#####Notes#####
1. Switching around level 50-52 is ideal because of access to support gems, nodes on the tree and unique items.Can just do whole campaign as toxic rain or switch around level 30ish when you get automation/icicle mines from library, wouldn't reccomend though; icicle mines will still be weak.
2. Mana flask with 'effect does not stop when full' is very useful.
3. Can also level a clarity to level 3-5 to help with mana endgame. I have one at level 3, feels ok, depends on socket pressure.
4. Get 4-5 passive medium cluster to get access to the jewel slot without a travel node.
5. Can run an ice golem for extra crit

#####Things to look for after clusters#####
Get bitterdream | +cold/all weapon | heatshiver | +5 March of the Legion boots as cheap upgrades.
Socket icicle mines in boots with minefield/charged mines/trap & mine damage if you have MotL boots
- arcanaist brand - sniper's mark/assassins mark - tornado - cull - frost bomb/flame wall for your 5 link after you switch to march of the legion (if you had one) 

Stygian vise - jewel -  crit chance, crit multi 
Look to get a 21/20 icicle mines.
+dmg agaisnt chilled enemy gloves.
Shroud of the lightless Carnal Armour - jewel - crit chance, crit multi
+2 boots or chest
+2 dagger or wand
dual wield +2
+4 boots or chest
Rathpith globe shield
portal cast on death for mapping - if you're dying a lot/ if you can fit it
aim for anything beneficial on jewels, mine damage/throw speed is ok, crit multil is big, you want crit multi with stats/resistances or just 3-4 crit multi rolls
Light of Meaning - 6% cold damage 
Proj speed tattoo's 
frostbite on hit ring
Bottled faith sulphur flask
atziri's promise
+3 dragonfang amulet for icicle mines

I highly suggest going to poe.ninja and looking up the skill to look at builds/items as well.
