Crafting Guide for Gloves, Helmet, Rings, Claw & Amulet - https://youtu.be/0lTn_RSnGd8

How to Start This Build

This build requires ~Level 90-95 at a minimum to play.
Since this is a build that requires expensive items to even work I am going to assume you have ~100c spare to buy leveling gear.
The quickest way to level would be to follow Tytykillers Hollow Palm Leveling Guide.

All of the leveling uniques are going to cost ~100c and you can sell everything back to other people once you are done with it.
Leveling like this will take anywhere from 2-5 Hours depending on how good you are at leveling.
I will not be including any other way to level in this guide, if you have a different way you enjoy leveling a Marauder, do that to Act 10.

After Act 10, I would high encourage you to buy 5-Way Carries as it shouldnt take more than ~5 to get you to Level 90 and ~7-8 more for Level 95.

Tytykiller's Leveling Guide: http://tinyurl.com/TyTyLevelingGuideV2

What Charms to Use

We will be using the Primalist Affliction Ascendancy in this build giving us access to 3 Charm Slots which can give us mini versions of other Ascendancies.
There are a ton of useful options here but there is going to be one very specific roll we want on all of our charms.

Charms for this build will be very very simple as while there are a lot of good rolls overall, we only need 2 specific rolls.
First, we will need "%x increased Strength" as the Prefix on all of our charms.
This is both our source of DPS due to Replica Alberon's & a Synth Claw with Original Sin and, a source of defence through Iron Fortress giving us Block Chance per 50 Strength.

Second, we want to stack "+x% to maximum Chance to Block Attack Damage" in our Suffix rolls.
We are getting a lot of free Block Chance from Iron Fortress and with high investment levels when you have 2,000+ Strength, we can easily reach 85% and with a BIS setup, 88% Block Chance.
Due to this, stacking Max Attack Block makes sense as all it costs us is Suffixes on our Charms for a passively scaling free defensive layer that synergizes with Wind Dancer & Evasion very well.

On Lower Budget Levels - You will need to use 1 "If you've Attacked Recently, you and nearby Allies have +x% Chance to Block Attack Damage" charm roll.
This will make up for your lack of Block Chance due to low Strength levels and will eventually be replaced for a Max Attack Block Suffix once you have enough Strength.
This will be typically around the time you upgrade to a Simplex Amulet.

How to Play this Build

This build is very simple to play, at the most basic, you want to keep Battlemage's Cry up which is very easy to do given the Cooldown is very low and we are putting it on Left Click.
Afterwards, you just activate Berserk, Blood Rage, and hold down Venom Gyre.

Warcries work off of a "Power" system where every mob that was within range of the Warcry when you activate it will be assigned a Power Level based on if they are Normal, Magic, Rare, or Unique.
In total we need 30 Power to gain the maximum effect of Battlemage's Cry which is where ALL of our damage comes from.
Redblade Banner makes this build not be clunky due to its "Warcries have infinite Power" line. This means that even if there are no monsters around you, Battlemage's Cry pretends you basically hit 1000000 monsters and gained 1000000 Power.
Without this, you would basically never be able to reach the maximum effect of Battlemage's Cry without 50 mobs around you and is a DPS increase on Bosses as Unique monsters only give 20 out of the 30 Power Battlemage's Cry needs.

TLDR:

1. Put Battlemage's Cry on Left Click
2. Activate Berserk, Blood Rage, use your totem IF you want to play with totems.
3. Spam Venom Gyre
4. (Optional) Namelock a boss after a few seconds of attacking with Venom Gyre to unleash all stored Venom Gyres. This is ~10x??? (it's hard to do exact Venom Gyre DPS math) DPS increase for a few seconds.
You don't EVER have to do Step 4 but it is highly encouraged on Unique monsters as it will just kill them in 1 second.

IMPORTANT - Namelocking with Whirling Blades

I want to stress, you DO NOT need to do this, but Namelocking can be a massive up to 10x and even more DPS increase on bosses. You can do everything without it, but if you namelock, you will kill bosses in 1 second.

Venom Gyre has a special interaction with Whirling Blades. When you throw out Venom Gyres, they will then Return to you and if you catch the projectiles they will be stored in a buff.
When you press Whirling Blades, all of the projectiles you have stored will be launched out in a circle around you. You release all but keep 40% so you technically have 40% More DPS when accounting for future Whirling Blades.
The IMPORTANT thing here is, that they release ~1/2 way through the Whirling Blades animation.
This means that, if you were able to very quickly Whirling Blades through a Bosses' hitbox, you would hit the boss with all of those projectiles giving you insane Shotgunning potential.

One very important thing to keep in mind is that, even though you are shooting 4 Venom Gyres, only 1 of those 4 can actually hit the boss, meaning the PoB dps is your real single target dps if you just spammed Venom Gyre.
This, for the budget of this build, is kinda low. Now, we can make all of those projectiles that aren't hitting the boss still give us dps through being thrown again when we catch them.
We can also multiply our projectiles to build up our pile faster.
The thrown projectiles from Whirling Blades have no Less Damage modifier so we want to hit 50 ASAP and, if we can generate Venom Gyres at a very fast rate, we can throw out more than 50, and catch extras while Whirling Blading.

That is why we run Fork, Sniper's Mark, Tornado & Hydrosphere in this setup. All of these together allow us to multiply not only our main projectiles but also our extras due to them possibly hitting the Tornado or Hydrosphere.

IMPORTANT - How to Namelock Whirling Blades

I want to stress, you DO NOT need to do this, but Namelocking can be a massive up to 10x and even more DPS increase on bosses. You can do everything without it, but if you namelock, you will kill bosses in 1 second.

Now, Namelocking is actually very very easy to do. As the name implies, you will be locking onto a specific monster and it will cause your Whirling Blades to constantly target that monster, removing the need for aiming.
This is VERY powerful given this build will have 10+ APS making you even slightly off with Whirling Blades to send you to Narnia and removing all need for aiming or precision.

To Namelock, all you need to do is to hover over the enemy you wish to Namelock so their Health Bar shows up at the top of your screen, then, while the Health Bar shows up, press Whirling Blades.
As long as you keep your key pressed down, your character will endlessly Whirling Blades through the target until you let go. You can move your mouse if you want, you just need to keep the key pressed down.

I DO WANT TO WARN YOU - Under high Attack Speeds, this will jitter your screen quite a lot, which might cause some issues for people with Motion Sickness.
Iv'e had people in my Twitch Chat tell me that overdoing it is really really bad for their Motion Sickness, but a second or 2 of Namelocking isn't too bad. Please proceed with caution if you suffer from Motion Sickness.

Your main gameplay loop with Namelocking is:
1. Venom Gyre for ~1 second to generate a lot of Venom Gyres
2. Namelock Whirling Blades to shoot out all stored Venom Gyres and to shoot out any extra Venom Gyres that haven't made it back
3. Repeat

YOU ONLY NEED TO DO THIS ON BOSSES, ALL OTHER MOBS WILL DIE IN .000001 SECONDS - EVEN BOSSES WILL DIE IN 1 SECOND MAX - DON'T OVERDO IT, YOU DON'T NEED TO.

How to Fix Intelligence Issues

With a lower budget, you will have a bit of a harder time hitting the 111 Intelligence Requirement.
To deal with this, you can opt to pick up one of the +30 Intelligence Passive Points we are pathing by OR you can get "+x to All Attributes" on your Cluster Jewels.

Mapping Setup

For mapping, this build is way too overkill in terms of tankiness, due to that I recommend swapping to the Mapping Tree which can be found as a seperate tree in PoB in the bottom left of the Passive Tree Tab.
This tree will drop a bit of health which you don't need in the first place for more Projectile Speed.

I'd also recommend swapping out Void Manipulation for Faster Projectiles as it will make your Venom Gyre go from being as fast as Bullets to as fast as Laser Beams.

Helmet

The helmet we want to use in this build is going to be an Elevated Warlord Helmet with Elevated Accuracy Rating, Strength, & Physical taken as Fire.
These helmets can get VERY expensive the more desirable mods you add to the helmet so there will be 2 versions of this, a Budget option and an Expensive option.

Until we get Original Sin, we are going to use a Lion Pelt as we cannot use the Added Cold Damage on a Blizzard Crown due to Replica Ableron's.
Once we get Original Sin, we will swap to a Blizzard Crown.

The crafting guide will go over how to make a Cheap helmet.
Making an Expensive helmet will cost ~200 Div or more and for most people will not be relevant and too expensive.

ONCE YOU HAVE ORIGINAL SIN - Repeat this craft but on a Blizzard Crown.

Video Crafting Guide for Helmet - https://youtu.be/0lTn_RSnGd8

Cheap Helmet Crafting Guide
Buy an Item Level 75 Lion Pelt, either buy one that is already Warlord Influence or buy a Warlord's Exalted Orb and influence it yourself.

ONCE YOU HAVE ORIGINAL SIN - Repeat this craft but on a Blizzard Crown.

1.Use Deafening Essence of Rage until you hit the Warlord "Gain Accuracy Rating equal to your Strength" mod. This is ~1/82 chance.

2. If your Helmet has a 3rd Suffix, you will need to Annul the Suffix off. You need to have the Essence Strength Mod & the Warlord "Gain Accuracy Rating equal to your Strength" mod as your only 2 Suffixes.
If you Annul one of the 2 Suffixes, go back to Step 1.

3. If your helmet has NO Open Prefix you will need to Annul a Prefix off of your Helmet. If you Annul one of the Suffixes you need, go back to Step 1.

4. Craft "Suffixes Cannot be Changed" and use the Harvest bench "Reforge Crit" to guarantee the Warlord Critical Strike Multiplier roll on your helmet. Reforge has a chance to fill your Prefixes but due to the cost of Augment, it is worth it.

5. Use an Orb of Dominance on the Helmet. This will either Upgrade the tier of Crit Multi or Upgrade the Accuracy Mod into Elevated Accuracy. If you fail, go back to Step 1 and start again.

6. If the Orb of Dominance ate the Crit Multi mod completely, craft "Suffixes Cannot be Changed" and Augment Crit in the Harvest bench for a new Crit Multi Mod.

7. If you have an Open Prefix left, craft "x% of Physical Damage from Hits taken as Fire Damage." If you do not have an Open Prefix, you can try to Annul/Sell the Helmet and try again but you DO NOT need to do Step 7.

You can't really make these any better without a lot more money so we will call this good enough for now.

Chest

The only chest for this build is going to be Iron Fortress. This chest not only gives us a very large amount of Strength, but will also give us a very large amount of free Block Chance & DPS.
This will be the way we are going to manage to get to 82% and eventually, 88% Max Attack Block Chance with more Strength.
Since we are an Evasion based build, adding in Block Chance makes all Attacks need to win a Block Roll first before it's allowed to roll if it passes through Evasion Rating.

With 88% Max Attack Block and 95% Evade Chance at higher budget levels, all Attacks will ONLY have a 0.6% chance to hit or every 6/1000 hits will actually make it through.
This makes it so you pretty much will only have to worry about spells damaging you. It's why we have Spell Suppress & Elemental Flasks in this build.

Not only that, but Iron Fortress gives us "Strength's Damage Bonus instead grants 3% increased Melee Physical Damage per 10 Strength" which will end up being ~20% of our DPS.
This 3% also works with Iron Will meaning its going to more efficiently convert Strength into Spell Power which is them Multiplied by Battlemage's Cry.

If you can, try to be on the lookout for a corrupted chest and if you can, find a high Flat Strength roll on it.

Implicits to be on the lookout for:
+1% to all maximum Resistances
+2 to Level of Socketed Duration Gems
+1 to Level of Socketed Gems
+2 to Level of Socketed Projectile Gems

Personally, a very underrated corrupt is "You take 50% reduced Extra Damage from Critical Strikes."
This is what I'd recommend over everything else as it is an incredible defencive layer.

If you buy a corrupted chest, linking it is very very easy and cheap.
Once you buy one, Corrupted Jeweller's Orb it to 6 sockets, these are very very cheap and will either add 1 or remove 1 socket from the chest.
It will take you ~40-60 Jeweller's to get the chest to 6 sockets.

Once you have it with 6 sockets, go to the bench and force 4 link it, this will cost a few Vaal Orbs but is not bad.
Then, use a Tainted Fusing Orb on it, this will be a straight up 50/50 on adding or removing a link. If it goes down to 3, force the 4 link again with the bench.
If it goes to a 5 link then it's a 50/50 for 6 links. If you lose it and it goes back down to 4 just try again. On average it should only take 4 Fusings to 6 link the chest.
Now, you could get unlucky and have it take more, I had a chest take 27 before but for the average person it should just be 4.

This allows us to get a massive massive damage increase for only a few div. RIP Tainted Fusing Prices

I have a video guide on how to 6 link a corrupted chest here: https://youtu.be/Fqeu9F3IRME

IMPORTANT: Recoloring Iron Fortress

Since we want 4G1B1R in our Iron Fortress to fit in our Venom Gyre 6 link, we need to find a way to recolor the chest.
The easiest way to do this will be with Tainted Chromatic Orbs which when used will reroll every socket with a pure unbiased 1/3 chance of each color.
This should make it very easy to get 4G1B1R and should take ~40-50 at most assuming you dont get unlucky which will cost about 1-3 Div depending on the league.

If you need to corrupt your chest, you can use a Craicic Vassal to guarantee corrupt it to 30% with no chance of bricking it.

Belt

Mageblood is the only option for this build.
You are going to struggle HEAVILY with Resistances and running Sapphire, Ruby, & Topaz is the only way to be res capped.

You can also opt to run Headhunter if you'd like but do be warned, you will not be res capped without HH buffs but, that's fine, HH will do all the work.
I farmed Legions all day with -22% All Resistances and had 0 issues running Headhunter.

Weapon

For this build, we will be using a Claw.
Claws have great base stats and allow us to abuse Nightblade and Elusive for a great way to scale Crit and Crit Multi but also abuse Elusive as a great defensive layer.

With no Original Sin, you will want a standard non Synth, Fractured Claw to make the craft easier.
With Original Sin, you will want to upgrade to a Synth Claw with the "Adds 2 to 4 Fire Damage to Attacks with this Weapon per 10 Strength" mod.
The Synth Claw is going to be substantially harder to craft and will be ~400-500 Div on Average to make a decent one.

The crafting guide will talk about how to make a Fractured Claw.
A Synth Claw is out of most people's budget so the crafting guide will not be included in this PoB. BUT it is included in the Crafting Guide Video if you would like to make one. Do be warned it will cost ~200-400 Div depending on luck.

Video Crafting Guide for Claw - https://youtu.be/0lTn_RSnGd8

Claw Crafting Guide

Buy a Fractured Attack Speed Imperial Claw. This base is more and more expensive the higher of a roll you buy so buy one that makes sense in your budget.
I'd recommend getting a near max roll no matter what. Make sure it is Item Level 83 or higher.

Trade Link to buy a Fractured base - https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Affliction/PwblVrvfL

1. Use Deafening Essences of Woe to guarantee Spell Damage until you get Added Flat Chaos Damage. This is ~1/78 chance.
You will need an Open Prefix and Open Suffix. If you don't have one, Annul until you do. If you Annul the Added Flat Chaos Damage or the Spell Damage, start over.

2. Craft "Prefixes Cannot be Changed"

3. Use a Veiled Chaos Orb and DO NOT Unveil yet. If you got a Veiled Suffix, craft "Prefixes Cannot be Changed" and try again until you get a Veiled Prefix.
Your Suffixes might fill from the Veiled Chaos Orb, if that happens, you will need to Annul off a Suffix. If you Annul off a Prefix or the Veiled Prefix Mod, go back to Step 1.

4. Unveil the Claw. You have a 41.957% chance to see "Attacks with this Weapon Penetrate x% Chaos Resistance."
If you do not get "Attacks with this Weapon Penetrate x% Chaos Resistance" then, attempt to Annul off the Veiled Mod, craft "Prefixes Cannot be Changed" and try again. If you Annul off a Prefix, go back to Step 1.

5. You will now have a Claw with the 3 desired Prefixes, and Fractured Attack Speed with at least 1 Open Suffix. If you did not Annul in Step 2 to get an Open Suffix, you will need to get at least 1 Open Suffix.
If you Annul off a Prefix, go back to Step 1 or 3 based on if you removed the Veiled Mod or not.

6. Craft "Prefixes Cannot be Changed" and Scour the Claw to remove all Suffixes if you do not have 2 Open Suffixes.
With 2 Open Suffixes, craft "Prefixes Cannot be Changed" then go to the Harvest Bench and Augment Critical. This will give you a 50/50 on it either giving you a Critical Chance Mod or a Crit Multi Mod.
If you get a Critical Chance Mod, craft "Prefixes Cannot be Changed," Scour the Critical Chance Mod off, craft "Prefixes Cannot be Changed" and try again until you get a Crit Multi Mod.

NOTE - This step is expensive, if you want a high Crit Multi roll, keep doing this until you get your desired tier. If not, just stop at the first Crit Multi Mod you hit.

7. Craft the Hybrid "+x to Strength and Intelligence, x% increased Critical Strike Chance" mod.
Lastly, put the Harvest Enchant "Quality does not increase Physical Damage, 1% increased Attack Speed per 8% Quality" on the Claw.

Offhand

For our Shield, we will be using a Redblade Banner.
Redblade Banner is required for the "Warcries have Infinite Power" as this allows you to always get the maximum Battlemage's Cry effect even if there aren't enough monsters around you.
This is crucial to make the build feel good and is a 33% DPS loss to not have one on all Bosses.

Try to find a "+1% to maximum Chance to Block Attack Damage" corruption. This is by far the single best Corrupt for this build.
If you can find a nice Double Corrupted one with +1% Max Block, go for it, but +1% Max Block is crucial and cheap.

Gloves

The gloves in this build are going to be a pair of Rare Gloves with Attack Speed, Spell Suppression, Strength, and ideally Life & Evasion Rating for Prefixes.

In this build, we heavily rely on the gloves to hit Spell Suppression Cap through the use of a T1 roll and a Perfect Eldritch Implicit to hit the Cap when combined with Magebane.
These Gloves are very easy to craft and will be very cheap to make on your own.

Video Crafting Guide for Gloves - https://youtu.be/0lTn_RSnGd8

Glove Crafting Guide

Buy a pair of Fractured T1 14%, IT HAS TO BE 14%, Spell Suppression Slink Gloves OR T1 Fractured Attack Speed.
It doesn't matter which Fracture you buy, they will both give the same item in the end, just get the cheapest one.

Trade Link to buy a Fractured base - https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Affliction/6agP4kdCG

1.Use Deafening Essence of Rage until you hit either T1 Attack Speed or T1 Spell Suppression based on the Fractured Gloves you bought. It is ~1/83 to hit Suppression & ~1/160 to hit Attack Speed.

2. If your Gloves have 3 Prefixes, you must Annul one Prefix off. To do this, use a Searing Exarch Ember on the Gloves to Influence it then use an Eldritch Orb of Annulment.

3. Use Eldritch Chaos Orbs to roll the Prefixes. Make sure that the Searing Exarch is Dominant so the Eldritch Chaos Orb rolls the Prefixes.
You are looking for Tier 2 or higher in 2 of the following 3: Maximum Life, +x to Evasion Rating, x% increased Evasion Rating.
It should be ~1/110 to see 2 of the 3 as a Tier 2 or higher roll.

4. If you have an Open Prefix, craft the 3rd Mod you are missing between the 3 you were rolling for in Step 3. If you don't have an Open Prefix, you can use an Eldritch Orb of Annulment to attempt to get one but this is up to you.
If you fail the Eldritch Orb of Annulment, go back to Step 3.

For Steps 5-9 I HIGHLY encourage you to watch the crafting video linked above if you have never used Orbs of Conflict for a visual representation.

5. Use Grand Eldritch Ichors to roll for the Eater Spell Suppression Implicit.

6. Use 1 Exceptional Searing Exarch Ember on the Gloves.

7. Use an Orb of Conflict. This will Raise 1 Implicit and Lower the other. These are PURE RNG but are weighted to Raising a Lower Tier Mod and Lowering a Higher Tier Mod.
What will most likely happen is that the Spell Suppression roll will be upgraded to Exceptional and the random Searing Exarch roll to be downgraded to Grand.

IF THIS DOES NOT HAPPEN - Use another Orb of Conflict again, this will MOST LIKELY raise the Spell Suppression roll back to Grand, then try again.
Your goal is to get the Spell Suppression roll to Exceptional.

8. Use 1 Exceptional Searing Exarch Ember on the Gloves. Orb of Conflict again. You are hoping the Spell Suppression roll is raised and the random Exceptional Searing Exarch Mod is lowered to Grand again.
If this doesn't happen, repeat like in Step 7 until it happens.

9. Use 1 Exceptional Searing Exarch Ember on the Gloves. Orb of Conflict again. This step will be a bit rough and you might bounce down a bunch of tiers, it's ALL RNG.
You are hoping the Spell Suppression Mod is raised to Perfect, and the Searing Exarch Mod is lowered to Grand.

10. Use Grand Searing Exarch Embers to roll for "x% increased Attack Speed" once your Spell Suppression Mod is upgraded to Perfect.

11. If you bought Fractured Attack Speed Gloves, Divine the Spell Suppression to 14%. It HAS to be 14% or you will not hit 100% Chance to Suppress Spell Damage.

Boots

The boots for this build is Replica Ableron's Warpath.
Not only do the boots give us "x% increased Strength" but, is also where all of the damage in this build until Original Sin comes from due to "Adds 1 to 80 Chaos Damage to Attacks per 80 Strength"

These are unreplaceable and if you can, try to buy a pair that is rolled to 18% increased Strength.

Rings

This build has a few different rings you can upgrade through.
At the most basic, we will be starting with 2 rings that have Str, Crit Multi, Chaos or any other Resistance, Life, and the crafted "Non-Channelling Skills have -x to Total Mana Cost"
These are very easy to craft and you can find close enough rings for ~10-15 Div each.

Eventually, we will be upgrading to Synth rings with the "x% increased Strength" implicit.
These rings will be exactly the same except they will be a bit harder to craft.

Original Sin

Eventually, one of your rings will be replaced with Original Sin. This ring is what takes this build from decent to broken.
Original Sin converts all damage to chaos and makes enemies have 0 Chaos Resistance that can still be penetrated further down by our Claw Veiled Mod.
What Original Sin allows us to do is to also run the Synth Mod on a Claw "Adds 2 to 4 Fire Damage to Attacks with this Weapon per 10 Strength"
This gives us a very very large amount of extra flat damage and basically Doubles the DPS that this build will do.

Original Sin is very very expensive and is usually worth ~1 Mirror. Due to this, you can think of Original Sin as an extreme endgame upgrade that is by no means needed to play this.

This PoB will go over how to craft both a Non Synth and a Synth Ring.

Video Crafting Guide for Rings - https://youtu.be/0lTn_RSnGd8

Non Synth Crafting Guide
Buy an Item Level 82 or higher Ring.
You need to buy a Fractured T1 Str or Chaos Resistance ring. Without a Fractured base, crafting this ring will be very hard.
Fractured Chaos Resistance will be expensive but will make the overall crafting costs cheaper.
You can also look for a non Amethyst Ring base but Amethyst is ideal for the Chaos Resistance.

Fractured Ring Base Trade Link: https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Affliction/mM4vXeMs6

0. BEFORE YOU START THE CRAFT - Make the ring Magic Quality and use Intrinsic Catalyst on it to save money and not have to use 20 at the end.

1. Use Deafening Essences of Scorn to guarantee T1 Crit Multi until you hit T1/T2 Chaos Resistance or T1 Strength based on what Fractured Ring you bought. Hitting T1 Strength is a ~1/124 chance and hitting T2 or higher Chaos Resistance is a ~1/233 chance.
If you bought a Fractured Str base and are rolling for Chaos Resistance I would settle on T2 or maybe even T3 as well due to how rare it is.

2. If your Ring doesn't have an Open Prefix, you must Annul one Prefix off. This is just a yolo Annul and there is nothing that can be done to influence this. If you Annul a Suffix, start over.

3. Use a Wild Bristle Matron in the Bestiary to craft "Suffixes Cannot be Changed" this will cost ~1.4 Div per try vs the 2 Div on the Crafting Bench.

4. Use a Veiled Chaos Orb and DO NOT unveil yet. If you have an Open Prefix craft "+x to Maximum Mana" this will raise the chance of success from ~43.166% to ~75% for the Life Unveil.

5. Unveil and pick the "+x to Maximum Life, Mana Regen" Hybrid Mod.
If you do not get the Life Prefix, use another Wild Bristle Matron or manually craft "Suffixes Cannot be Changed" and go back to Step 4.
If you do not have an Open Prefix, you need to Annul for one using an Orb of Annulment like in Step 2.

6. If you have an Open Prefix, craft "Non-Channelling Skills have -x to Total Mana Cost" on the ring. If you do not have one, you will need to Annul in hopes of Annuling a Prefix. If you Annul any Suffix, start again.

Synth Crafting Guide
Buy an Item Level 82 or higher "x% increased Strength" Synth Ring.
These bases will be expensive and only get more and more expensive. Make sure it is NOT a Bone Ring, that base can roll Minion Mods and is a brick.

I want to point out, this craft will be expensive.

Synth Ring Base Trade Link: https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Affliction/z0Walkqi4

0. BEFORE YOU START THE CRAFT - Make the Ring Magic Quality and use Intrinsic Catalyst on it to save money and not have to use 20 at the end.

1. Use Deafening Essences of Scorn to guarantee T1 Crit Multi until you hit T1 Strength. This is a ~1/60 chance.
You also need to have an Open Suffix, if you have a third random Suffix, you will need to Annul until it is gone. You will also need an Open Prefix.

2. Once you have a ring with T1 Strength, Essence Crit Multi, an Open Suffix & Open Prefix, craft "Suffixes Cannot be Changed" and use the Harvest Bench Augment Chaos.
This will guarantee 1 of the 6 Tiers of Chaos Resistance. If you wish for a higher amount, attempt to Annul the Chaos Resistance off and try again. If you Annul the other Suffixes, go back to Step 1.

3. Once you are happy with your Tier of Chaos Resistance its time for Prefixes. Craft "Suffixes Cannot be Changed" and Scour the ring to remove all Prefixes.

4. Craft "+x to Maximum Mana" to block Mana and then use 2 Exalted Orbs on the Ring. You are looking for Tier 3 or higher Life. Look for a higher Life amount if you wish to make a better Ring.
There is ~1/17 chance on the first Exalted Orb and ~1/15 on the second Exalted Orb to see Tier 3 or higher Life.

5. Remove the Crafted Mana Mod and craft "Suffixes Cannot be Changed" either through the bench or by using a Wild Bristle Matron in the Bestiary to save ~0.6 Div.

6. Scour the Ring, craft "+x to Maximum Mana" and try again with 2 Exalted Orbs until you get a Life roll you are happy with.

7. Once you are done, remove the Crafted Mana, and replace it with "Non-Channelling Skills have -x to Total Mana Cost."

For the Amulet slot there are going to be 2 options, one will be a very expensive version due to the Base and the other will be a Synth Amulet which will be easy to craft.
Eventually the Simplex Amulet will be substantually better due to the amount of Strength it will provide but the base will be very very expensive.

As for the Anoint, we want to Anoint Aggresive Bastion as it will give us a way to get Enducance Charges which will also scale Immortal Call and our general tankiness.
It will also give us a large amount of Block Chance to Attack Block Cap us.

Synth Amulet Crafting Guide
Buy an Item Level 82 or higher "x% increased Strength" Synth Amulet.
There are several Tiers to this roll with the most Expensive being a few Div.
I highly encourage you to not cheap out on this and to get a high rolled base.

0. BEFORE YOU START THE CRAFT - Make the Amulet Magic Quality and use Intrinsic Catalyst on it to save money and not have to use 20 at the end.

1. Use Deafening Essences of Scorn to guarantee T1 Crit Multi until you hit T1 Strength. This is a ~1/74 chance.
You also need to have an Open Suffix, if you have a third random Suffix, you will need to Annul until it is gone. You will also need an Open Prefix.

2. Once you have a Amulet with T1 Strength, Essence Crit Multi, an Open Suffix & Open Prefix, craft "Suffixes Cannot be Changed" and use the Harvest Bench Augment Chaos.

Craft "Suffixes Cannot be Changed" and Scour the Amulet to remove all Prefixes.

4. Craft "+x to Maximum Mana" to block Mana and then use 2 Exalted Orbs on the Amulet. You are looking for Tier 3 or higher Life. Look for a higher Life amount if you wish to make a better Amulet.
There is ~1/27 chance on the first Exalted Orb and ~1/25 on the second Exalted Orb to see Tier 3 or higher Life.

5. Remove the Crafted Mana Mod and craft "Suffixes Cannot be Changed" either through the bench or by using a Wild Bristle Matron in the Bestiary to save ~0.6 Div.

6. Scour the Amulet, craft "+x to Maximum Mana" and try again with 2 Exalted Orbs until you get a Life roll you are happy with.

7. Once you are done, remove the Crafted Mana, and replace it with "Non-Channelling Skills have -x to Total Mana Cost."

Simplex Crafting Guide
Simplex bases are very expensive and it is where literally 95% of the expense in this craft will come from.
Buy yourself an Item Level 82 or higher Simplex Amulet that is NOT Influenced by TWO Influences.
The Influence DOESN'T matter as long as there are not 2 as we can use the Harvest Bench to change it.

ANY of these will work, they are all the same.
NOTE - Some might be listed in Mirrors, PLEASE check ones listed for Div only and compare which one is cheaper. Don't get ripped off.

0. BEFORE YOU START THE CRAFT - Make the Amulet Magic Quality and use Intrinsic Catalyst on it to save money and not have to use 20 at the end.

1. If the Amulet is not Warlord Influence, use the Harvest Randomize Influence until it is Warlord. It should be very cheap to do this.
If your Amulet has no Influence, use a Warlord's Exalted Orb to give it Warlord Influence.

2. Use Deafening Essences of Rage to guarantee T1 Strength until you get the Warlord T1 % Strength Mod. This is a ~1/428 chance.

3. You need an Open Prefix to craft "Non-Channelling Skills have -x to Total Mana Cost", if you don't have one, Annul for a 1/3 chance to remove the Prefix.

That's it, it's very simple but the base is very very expensive.

Flasks

Flasks are going to be very simple in this build as there isn't anything special we need except 3 Elemental Flasks, and a Quicksilver, or a Evasion Rating flask.

In terms of flasks for this build there are 2 major Unique flasks to consider otherwise we just want normal flasks.

Bottled Faith

Bottled Faith will be a source of Critical Strike Chance and a bit of Regen through the Ground it creates.
This is the DPS option if you want more dps. Bottled Faith is very cheap for a basic one and will serve you well.

Progenesis

If you want a very large amount of survivability, Progenesis is the single biggest defensive layer you can add to this build.
Because we have a very large health pool, Progenesis' Stagger mechanic will work well giving you 25% More Health for all attacks that do not 1 shot you.
Because we have so much Instant Leech, the Staggered Health will be healed up instantly making it very easy to deal with.

Mageblood Flasks

There are going to be specific flasks we want to run with Mageblood due to this being how we will Res Cap this build.
You are going to want to run the 3 Elemental Flasks, Ruby, Sapphire and Topaz. These with an Enkindling Orb and a "x% increased Effect" Prefix should res cap you.

As for your 4th Mageblood flask, you can run either Quicksilver for Movement Speed, or Jade for extra Evasion Rating.
The amount of Evasion Rating Jade gives you is very high and should not be ignored.

Make sure to get the same Suffix on your Quicksilver and Jade so swapping between them is seamless.

Flask Prefixes
Make sure to get "25% increased Effect" on every single one of your Prefixes. The duration roll is irrelevant as they are always active.

Flask Suffixes
There are 4 specific Suffixes we want to run on Mageblood Flasks.

x% increased Evasion Rating during Effect
x% increased Movement Speed during Effect
x% increased Critical Strike Chance during Effect
x% Chance to Avoid being Stunned during Effect

The Stun roll will only give you Stun Immunity ONLY if it's 53% or higher with a 70% Endlindling Orb roll.

You can also opt to run the crafted "Regenerate 3% of Life per second during Effect" instead of the Movement Speed Suffix for more recovery which I'd recommend on Boss Fights.

Gems

There are some very powerful jewels for this build that we want to be on the lookout for.

Watcher's Eye is a very important unique for this build helping us get Evasion Rating which we desperately need.
On a Watcher's Eye you want to prioritize the Grace "x% chance to Evade Attack Hits while affected by Grace" roll over everything else.
As you upgrade your build and add in Original Sin & a Simplex Amulet, you will lose a lot of Chaos Resistance.
You can opt to look for "x% increased Chaos Resistance while affected by Purity of Elements" as a 2nd Mod to fix this but this will be very expensive.
Otherwise, as a good 2nd and 3rd Mod, you can look for any of the Purity of Elements "x% of Physical Damage taken as Lightning/Fire/Cold" to have a bigger Physical EHP pool.

That Which Was Taken is a new jewel added in 3.23. This jewel can roll any 4 Charm modifiers on it and can be incredibly strong.
This is the Watcher's Eye of Charms. We want to use this to get the "15% chance to inflict Withered for 2 seconds on Hit" and "Banner Skills have no Reservation" mods.
If this combo is too expensive, look for one with Banner Skills as it is required to fit in all auras.

Inertia is just a jewel that provides Flat Strength and converts any Dexterity in the radius to Strength.
This is a great addition to add by the Ranger portion of the tree for ~140 extra Strength.

Split Personality is a jewel that gives a small amount of 2 stats that grow in power the further away from the start of the tree they are.
This is why our Tree looks the way it does as we want to put 2 of these into the Ranger Cluster Jewel which is the furthest point away from the Marauder section of the tree.
You are going to want a Strength/Intelligence and a Strength/Dexterity version. We need the Intelligence to be able to use all of our gems and the Dexterity to get us high enough to Spell Suppression Cap through Magebane.
Strength/Intelligence can be expensive due to Templar builds so, Life/Intelligence or anything with Intelligence is also fine as an alternative.

Forbidden Flesh/Flame are 2 jewels that will give us an additional Ascendancy point if we use the same 2.
In this build we want to use a set to get Juggernaut's Undeniable. This is going to give us a massive amount of Attack Speed due to all of the Accuracy Rating our Helmet gives us.
At the same time, due to our Warlord Elevated Accuracy Rating Mod, all of the Accuracy Rating will be turned into Critical Strike Chance and we will be getting a very large amount from Undeniable itself.

Emperor's Mastery is a great slot-into this build now that we want to scale Strength as high as possible and it will give us the Intelligence we need.
Make sure to Divine this to 7% as it is well worth it as its the only mod and its a 1/3 chance.

Lethal Pride is a very massive part of this build as it will give us an insane amount of Strength.
There are A LOT of good Lethal Prides, if you would like a guide on how to buy one, please refer to the Timeless Jewel section in the Video Guide at the top of this PoB or on Allie's Youtube.

Cluster Jewels

The Cluster Jewels for this build are very simple. We are going to want 2 Large 8 Passive Claw Cluster Jewels.

Both of these are going to want to have Fan of Blades on them with one Jewel having Feed the Fury and the other Fuel the Fight.
This is where all of our Mana and Life Leech will come from so putting one on each takes care of it.

You will NEED to have a random 2rd notable as a Suffix on these to fill up the space between the 2 Jewels to give us optimal placement.
You can also look for "+x to All Attributes" or "+x to Strength" as a 4th Mod to get a little bit more Strength on the Jewels on the 1 small passive you path through.

You can use this link to buy Jewels, just make sure to go into the Filters and uncheck Feed the Fury and Fuel the Fight to see the other variant.
