Notes

Crafting upgrades in order of importance:

Life + Resists on gear
 - Early on just get your resists capped (including chaos) and enough life to survive

Eldritch Implicits
 - If you're low on Ichors and Embers dont roll over usable implicits just to get BiS early (armour/energy shield, life regen, and resists can be very helpful for giving you the small boost in power to farm more)
 
+1 Wand
 - Use the vendor recipe (BiS is Profane Wand but if you're struggling with Intelligence a Pagan Wand is fine):
     - Normal rarity wand with 2 or more quality gems with a combined total of 40% quality & the Lightning tag gives +1 lightning skills and you can then just benchcraft cast speed

Frostbite on hit ring
 - Buy from trade or self craft with reforge caster on a ilvl 80+ Redeemer influenced ring
 - Can also be found as a delve mod, synthesis implicit, or as a glove corruption implicit

Fishing rod
 - Self farming a fishing rod is not easy and will be simpler to just buy from trade (these will be expensive this league)
 - You require Fairgraves' Tricorne to enable fishing rods to drop, additionally they dont have the best drop chance so you may be farming for a decent amount of time
 - Once found they only have 1 usable stat so simply alt spamming for T1 cast speed will be simple

FAQ:

How do I level?
 - The standard shadow leveling method is starting with Cobra Lash into Poisonous Concoction but personally I will be using Cobra Lash all the way until I can equip Crackling Lance and Archmage

What order for my ascendancy?
 - Ghost of the Deep first for a very nice boost to leveling
 - Stormy Seas is the only next node we can take since we wont have a fishing rod on day 1
 - From there its personal preference if you need damage take Glacial Wave and if you need some defence by freezing enemies Brine Bound is perfect for that
