Notes
---------------------------------------- WARNING WARNING WARNING ---------------------------------------- This is a build made SPECIFICALLY for running Heist. It doesn't do pretty much ANYTHING ELSE. It does not do ANY damage whatsoever, it will only work for mechanics that require 0 actual fighting. I will do my best to keep this PoB updated as needed with new items or strategies that present themselves. If you have any issues or need guidance on this build join my discord, linked in the description of every one of my videos. Understand that I myself am not capable of helping so many people but the community is extremely helpful. If you absolutely cannot find help and need someone to hold your hand I have Patreon tiers for 1 on 1 but if you want to be successful in Path of Exile you have to put the work in. I highly suggest you attempt to figure it out. --------------------- INTRODUCTION --------------------- Please check the most recent build guide on my YouTube channel at https://youtube.com/c/bigducks Liking my Videos and Subscribing to my YouTube channel help me to keep bringing you more content like this, if you just grab the PoB please consider giving me a like to help me out, I appreciate all of your support! Keep in mind there may be multiple videos per build, always look for the most recent video. This build is designed to go as fast as possible, on as little gear as possible, while taking as little damage as possible. We utilize Chainbreaker for Perma Berserk which provides us movement speed and damage reduction. We get as much mana regen as possible to keep Berserk up (almost) constantly. There are 2 Distinct Versions of this build. Basic - Uses relatively cheap and easy to obtain gear with no special items required besides the Jewel for Chainbreaker. My Gear - Pushes the build to its realistic limit (you can go further but the cost / power is extremely minimal) ------------ RATINGS ------------ GOOD -> Movement Speed, Survival, Cost, Playstyle, Elemental Damage Taken, Trade League, Softcore, Physical Damage Taken, Chaos Damage Taken, Damage Taken Over Time MEH -> Hardcore BAD -> Bossing, Solo Self Found, Clearing DIFFICULTY OF PLAY - LOW The hardest part of this build is learning how to pilot it at such high speeds, clicking doors and being efficient. ----------------------- CONFIGURATION ----------------------- This build does not deal damage but I have set the configuration for what you can expect for the majority of the time while playing. --------------------------------------------- FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS --------------------------------------------- --- Q: Can I level as this build? A: No, find an up to date Poisonous Concoction Pathfinder and play that until 85+ and then transition when ready. --- Q: My Gems aren't leveling, how do I fix this? A: Buy fully leveled gems or be patient, the rogues will kill a few mobs here and there and that will get the gems up to like 17-18 which is enough. --- Q: When should I transition to this build? A: When you can afford the lethal pride, ALL of the gear, the regrets to shift the build over, and enough money to maintain Heisting permanently. --- Q: Can I run any kind of heist strategy with this build? A: Yes, they should all be possible, but it is ideal for the one explained later. --- Q: I can't cast any abilities! My mana doesn't regen... what do? A: Chainbreaker was updated to disable your mana regen completely, you will need to either put lifetap on every ability or work on getting the -mana cost rings and amulet. Make sure you do not over-level any abilities as they may have too high of a mana cost. --- Q: I can't find an item with those exact stats what do I do? A: This build is extremely forgiving in most things, focus on getting attributes, resists, and the -mana cost jewellry. --- Q: How do I stop dying? A: This build REALLY should not be dying to anything but improperly running through ground traps or getting extremely unlucky with lasers. That being said, playing both of these sections properly SHOULD make it impossible for you to die. Make sure you're using Molten Shell before going through traps. --- Q: How do I do more damage? A: You don't. --- Q: What about Clusters? A: You can use a flask cluster for Alchemist's Genius but it isn't worth it IMO. --- Q: Forbidden Flame / Flesh? A: The Onslaught Effect is the only reasonable one to take. Tailwind is GIGA expensive. --- Q: My question isn't in here, what do I do? A: Double check that you have looked through the video and this PoB. If you can't find it you can join my discord, linked in the description of all of my videos. Please remember that the people in the discord channels are very helpful but it is not their job to assist you. This is a knowledge based game and you have to put in the work to be successful. ------------------ LEVELING UP ------------------ This is NOT a build that you can level as. I suggest looking up a Poisonous Concoction Pathfinder build and level as that until 85+. ------------------------------ GENERAL PLAYSTYLE ------------------------------ This build is only really meant for doing ZDPS Heist Strategies. The video guide will be MUCH better at showing how to do this but I will give you some basics. - Cast Stone Golem if it's dead. - Put Phase Run on Left Click. - Activate Berserk every time the cooldown is up. - Place a Decoy Totem AWAY from the Rogues when they are having trouble opening a door/chest etc. - If the Rogues are having major difficulties even with the totem, place Frost Walls underneath them. - Use Molten Shell before going through dangerous traps. -------------------------------------------------- CRAFTING AND OBTAINING THE GEAR -------------------------------------------------- REMEMBER that you can always just buy all of the final pieces from the trade website. Crafting most of the time is cheaper. Typically leveling items or items in the "Budget" section that are just Life / Resists and that are not hard to obtain will not be included in this section. There will be items that simply aren't in need of detailed crafting notes, I will mention that in those cases. Weapons / Offhands Ichimonji - A VERY inexpensive weapon that provides us increased effect of buffs and mana reservation efficiency. Helmet Basic Rare - Find any helmet with the Berserk enchant and roll it with Essences to get Life and some other mods you might need. Craft Mana Reservation on it with Eldritch currency. Body Armour Queen of the Forest - Just buy one with decent stats, even 6 link ones shouldnt be THAT expensive. But you only need a 4 or 5 link realistically. Gloves Basic Rare - Life and resists. Hands of the High Templar - This is absolutely not neccesary but you can go for it if you want to run a tiny bit faster, go for +1 All, +2 Duration, Temp Chains - In that order. Boots Grab the highest Movement speed boots you can find with Life and whatever other stats you need (Attributes, Resists) and then enchant it with Eldritch Currency. Amulet Craft a Blue Pearl Amulet with Essences of Misery until you get life and whatever other stats you need. Quality with Mana/Life. Craft -mana cost. Rings Grab whatever base rings (Synthesized Mana Regen is good) and craft with Essences of Misery until you get life and whatever stats you need. Craft -mana cost. Belt This honestly isn't super easy to obtain, you have to buy it, and they are relatively rare. That being said they are not 100% required for the build to function. Just makes things work a bit better. If you are noticing issues with keeping flasks up look into updating your belt. Jewels Forbidden Flesh & Flame - Onslaught Effect is the best here, and relatively cheap. Tailwind if you have giga currency. Watcher's Eye - Movement% mod should be extremely cheap (20c right now) Unnatural Instinct - Can be used in the Scion slot for some decent stats, but honestly kind of a waste. Grab if you want. Lethal Pride - Needed for the build to function, we need chainbreaker to be able to survive and go fast. ------------------------ FINAL THOUGHTS ------------------------ A build designed for a very particular purpose, and it achieves that quite well.
