Defensively this is incredibly strong, but means you can't run non-cluster jewels which costs a bit of damage 40% less damage taken on the initial hit makes armour much stronger, and our overleech means you won't even feel the damage aftershocks == Other == Haeomphilia seems to be interact weirdly with either with Slayers Cull or killing enemies on hit before they bleed out, wouldn't recommend them War Banner & Runegraft of Treachery should never be combined unless you like losing XP ================================== ********************* SLAMS ******************** ================================== These Slams all have different mechanics and damage patterns Bleed damage should be very similar for all of them All of these are viable! == Ground Slam of Earthshaking == Transfigured Slam with a wide frontal cone slam with huge AoE and a higher chance to stun The bread and butter for mapping! Vaal Ground Slam Huge omni-directional AoE slam that's near-spammable. This skill feels great 4 charges, 15 souls per use, 1 second soul gain prevention Cannot be empowered by Fist of War It CAN be exerted unlike every other Vaal Slam For mapping, it's best to alternate between these skills between packs Getting Vaal Ground Slam of Earthshaking on leaguestart may be rough, staying Sunder for awhile may be a good route to go == Sunder == Slam with a long narrow cone Most enemies hit by Sunder send out shockwaves when they get hit, so this skill destroys tightly clumped groups of enemies Sunder shockwaves can aggravate bleeds, and trigger the 20% Cull from Slayer Only one Sunder can be activate at a time (though all Sunders get at least 2 waves) Great option if you're regularly running narrow maps, or need some extra range for a particular boss == Earthquake == Slam with two parts: a smaller initial AoE, and a big Aftershock afterwards that does much more damage Earthquake cannot be spammed as a crack must erupt before another one can be created Always link Earthquake with Less Duration A downside of Earthquake is fewer life leech instances which hurts Slayer Don't take the "Ailment Duration & Skill Effect Duration" mastery if you use Earthquake Great option if you prefer an omni-directional ability ================================== ********************** MISC ********************* ================================== == Uniques == Ryslatha's Coil - this is huge damage, and is the only unique that's required later on The most important roll is a high "more Maximum Attack Damage" Quality it with Abrasive Catalysts (Attack) Writhing Jar - alternative to a life flask, maintains your leech damage reduction and fortify when there's nothing around you to hit Also recovers mana which is really nice with tincture Great for Bossing Light of Meaning - Physical - Maurauder jewel socket - huge damage jewel Redblade Banner - Offhand this eventually - Enduring Cry either in your links, or an offhand socket Lethal Pride - an option at the outside Marauder or Slayer jewel socket. Slayer socket locks out Iron Reflex, however Death Rush - Great early-midgame unique for raw mapping speed Foulborn The Red Dream New item this league, gives a big chunk of Life Put it in the outside Marauder jewel socket surrounded by fire resistance tattoos (Tattoo of the Ngamahu Firewalker) instead of Light of Meaning Decent chance it's absurdly expensive, may not be accessible for most people
