Notes
Upgrading your Bow
First things first, you need to upgrade your bow. We recommend a Crucible-crafted bow with plus one socketed gems, plus two to level of socketed supported gems, which scales your empower. This can increase your damage by around 60-70%. The cost of this bow is five raw divines, the hunter's exalted orb, and the cost of the six-link. If you choose to buy the base instead of making it yourself, that's an extra cost.
Six-Linking your Lightning Coil and Taste of Hate
Next, you'll want to six-link your Lightning Coil and buy a Taste of Hate to stack with it. This can significantly improve your build's damage output.
Finding the Perfect Quiver and Upgrading your Boots
Finding the perfect quiver is crucial for this build. Look for one with double damage over time multiplier like a hunter base. If you can't find the perfect one, you can always buy one with one bad stat and then annul it. Additionally, consider upgrading your boots to get a special press cap or use the craft from Betrayal that can craft totem placement speed up to 30.
Using an Amulet with Plus Two Levels
Using an amulet with plus two levels can also improve your build's damage output, but don't forget that the damage over time multiplier from the amulet and quiver is missing. Keep this in mind when upgrading your gear.
Avoiding the Pitfalls of Porcupine Cards
One of the potential pitfalls of this build is using Porcupine cards, which give a level 50 item. This means that many of the good Crucible mods couldn't roll, which can be annoying.
Investing in a Watcher's Eye with Phasing
Investing in a Watcher's Eye with phasing while affected with haste can be a huge upgrade. This gives you permaflasking and feels incredibly good.
Lessons Learned
Finally, some lessons learned from this build include the need to acquire tankiness earlier, avoiding phasing on kill, focusing less on duration, and considering implementing mana forged arrows in the next league.
