<LEVELING>

Act 1
Life flasks are very important, try to have 2/3 of them and strongest versions at all times. We will need them for poisonous concoction damage!

Look for 3-linked all green socket items (3G).

Complete the Breaking some eggs quest and the Mercy Mission.
Keep looking for 3G items.

When you reach prison, head back to town and pick up Lesser multiple Projectiles (LMP) and link it to Shrapnel Ballista.

You must have no weapon equipped but you can buy a Shield.

Weapons won't matter after act 1 since poisonous concoction doesn't use weapons, so just focus on your Life flasks, Life and resists.

<TIPS>

IMPORTANT FOR FLASKS:
After Cruel Lab this build starts relying a lot on Flasks for everything. 
The Cruel lab grants the 3 flask charges gained every 3s.
This means that you need to find a Ruby, Sapphire, Topaz, Bismuth and a good Divine Flask which are ALL going to be up 100% of the time.
A lot of them you can find by doing side or main quests then just Alteration craft them until you get what you need /check endgame items).
Ruby, Sapphire and Topaz flasks need to have at least 20% reduced charges used or 30% increased charge recovery.
The Bismuth Flask needs to have 25% increased effect (not more than 30% reduced duration).
Use an instilling orb on all utility flasks until you get "Reused at the end of this flask's effect".

Use a Bismuth Flask until you get a good Replica Mistwall, then look for a good Quartz Flask and some resistances on jewels/gear. 
You will need some Flask duration tattoos and quality on the flask.
Make sure to use Instilling orbs before you corrupt your flasks!

Solving mana issues
Pick up Life mastery for life cost of skill ASAP or use a mana flask until you get Eldritch battery on the tree and later on through devouring diadem.

Alternatives
For Gloves you can use a rare pair of Evasion + Armour base and then you can opt to drop BV entirely (big damage loss but tankier).
Chestpiece can be Cherrubim's Maleficence or a rare with a shitton of Evasion + Armour and phys resistance.

Guard Skills
Use automation instead of Cast when Damage taken.

How to find Uniques?
From best to worst:
1) Bestiary
2) Kill a lot of stuff and farm maps with cards that can drop them
3) Chance the appropriate bases

<GEAR>
Eventually needs some resistances somewhere as we drop the Bismuth flask for Quartz flask later on.

General: Use eldtritch implicits as even the weakest ones are strong, check which ones you need under the "Endgame" items section!
Focus on Hybrid Armour and Evasion items. If you get high rolls of Armour/Evasion, good!

Wand - Obliteration or Pagan wand- +1 to all skill gems > +1 to Physical skill gems > Spell damage/Damage over time + Craft Chaos DoT Multi
Crafting: Craft with Essence of Woe.

Shield - Replica Mistwall or Cardinal Round Shield - Life > Spell suppress > Armor/Evasion > Resists + Craft Phys as Extra Chaos
Crafting: Roll the shield with defence mods in Harvest, it can give you a LOT of Armor/Eva.

Helmet - Devouring Diadem or Nightmare Bascinet - Mana reservation efficiency > Spell suppress > Life > Armor/Eva + ^Craft 8% of Phys taken as Fire
Crafting: Craft with Essence of Loathing.

Chest - Dendrobate - needs 300dex and 150int
or Sadist Garb - ES > Spell Suppress > Phys damage reduction > Resists + Craft the Phys damage from hits as Fire and Lightning
Crafting: Best way is probably just to reforge defence in Harvest until you get something decent.
Using reforge phys can work as well, as this will make physical damage reduction more likely.
If you roll Life then remember that you should either unspec the life mastery that gives you life if your chest has life, or roll over the life.

Gloves - Dragonscale Gauntlets - Armor/Eva > Spell Suppression > Life > Resists > Attributes
Crafting: Craft with any useful Essence

Boots - Dragonscale Boots - Life > Spell Suppress > Move speed > Dex + Craft Resists 
Crafting: Craft with Essences of Greed/Zeal.

Amulet - Agate Amulet - +1 to all skill gems/+1 to Chaos skill gems > Chaos damage over time multi/ Damage over time multi > Attributes
Crafting a +2 amulet: Use Catalysts beforehand. Needs a lot of harvest juice and at least 5-6 divines.

Crafting: Use Noxious Catalysts before crafting. Craft with Essences of Envy, make sure you have one prefix open and then bench craft - mana cost.

Ring - Ming's Heart - save noxious catalysts for this as well
or Amethyst Ring - Chaos Res > Life > Chaos Damage + Craft +1 min End/Frenzy charge
Crafting: Use Prismatic Catalysts before crafting. Craft with Essences of Envy, make sure you have one prefix open and then bench craft minimum endurance/frenzy charges.

Belt - Stygian Vise - Life > Attributes > Chaos Res + Craft Flask Duration
Crafting: Use Catalysts (Prismatic or Fertile) before crafting. Craft with Essences of Horror.
