Why does the PoB say this is a 3.19 tree?
Because when this PoB was made PoB wasn't updated to the 3.20 tree yet. The only change is in the Whispers of Doom wheel, make sure to pick up the curse cast speed there in 3.20!

I hate self-casting the curses even though they last very long, what do I do?
If you get a second unset ring you can put flame dash in there, and link arcanist brand to your curses. This is really rough on socket pressure though.

How do I get 100% chance to poison?
With the removal of Coated Shrapnel this is much harder. And early game you might have to accept you won't have 100% chance to poison, some ways you can fix it:
- Eater of Worlds implicit on gloves gives you 5-20% chance to poison
- Divergent Herald of Agony gives you an extra 20% chance to poison
- You can annoint Toxic Strikes if you don't take it yet
- You can take the curse mastery that gives you +20% to poison cursed enemies, and just make sure you always curse tanky targets
- Early on you could equip an Icefang Orbit for the 25% chance to poison
- Jewels can give you 5% chance to poison each

Definitely try to get Divergent Herald of Agony though, it's amazing since the default quality of Herald of Agony does nothing for us. Have fun in Heist!

Why can't I cast my Malevolence?/Why do I have "mana" issues?
You probably leveled Divine Blessing too much, or you don't have enough energy shield on gear.
Try to get something like a Crystal Belt, or use a Sadist Garb as your chest for now.

My clear feels bad!
First try to change your playstyle up a bit: be much more liberal with throwing seismic traps, and use Withering Step.
If that doesn't solve your issues to your liking you could consider making gloves with Essence of Delirium, this gives anything socketed in gloves 30% more damage over time.

Can I use Obliteration?
Yes, we actually recommend using it for clear. Just remember that Obliteration has a hefty intelligence requirement, so make sure you meet that before you invest into one!

Can I use Ming's Heart?
Ming's Heart is great damage at the cost of some life. Despite that it can be a good choice even on Hardcore.
I didn't include it in the PoB because I don't want people to blindly equip a Ming's Heart without considering the consequences.
So if you feel like you're tanky enough with it: just equip it and watch your damage skyrocket!

I'm having a lot of trouble capping my suppress, what do I do?
In the endgame trees Instinct is really close by and easy to pick up, just remember the +12% mastery doesn't do anything for us if we use Diadem.
Getting some Dexterity on gear here and there also helps as we pick up Magebane.

Why doesn't my Herald of Agony gain charges?
Herald of Agony doesn't gain charges when your traps poison. You might get an occasional charge when your shield charge poisons, this doesn't matter though.


> LEVELING <
In act 1 we level this build with Caustic Arrow and Puncture, use Caustic Arrow for clear and Puncture for single target.
The bow you use doesn't matter that much, so just try to pick a fast one so you can get to level 12 as soon as possible.

At level 12(which you should aim to reach before Merveil) you can switch to Poisonous Concoction(pconc).
Remember that you can't use a weapon when using pconc, and upgrade your life flask since this is esentially your weapon.

Somewhere in act 6 we'll switch to poison seismic trap, this is pretty early and you can stay pconc a bit longer if you'd want to.
At the start we won't have 100% chance to poison yet, this is ok, just try to get it as soon as possible
