As many have noted in comments on the original reddit thread, this needs ... work. Tree: razzor1100 (Tree, Skill set, Item set) ================================== Put together by /u/razzor1100 on reddit. Key characteristics: - With glancing blows, one block wheel and the remnant delve shield and divine shield you have 75/75 block chance as well as ES recovery when preventing phys dmg, which is everytime you block an attack or spell - We add determination with molten shell, which is basically a no brain requirement. - Obliteraion Wand is insane for clear and quite a decent damage option and will be easily obtainable in Delve as the Div card drops like cake. - As most incoming damage will probably be lots of small hits, GB should be decently effective. Divine Shield (DS) would be there to counter all the small hits rather than the bursts. Therefore I would aim for a few hundred ES, which will be easily accessible with Hybrid ES/Armour. Still, the more ES the more effective DS obviously will be. - DS will recover 3% of prevented damage, so let's say you take a hit of 1000 phys dmg. This will get reduced by armour and is further converted with the Tasalio ascandency note. 75/75 of all attacks and spells will also be blocked and reduced to 65% initial damage. So as a base, 35% of the incoming physical damage and spells will be automatically recovered as ES which would be 350 in our example. - I took Valako as the probably best 4th choice, but looking at it again, we could use a spell totem or even decoy totem with Arohongui, to get more survivability. Decoy totem is probably best due to no investment in tanky totems. How to configure in POB: - Do you use Frenzy Charges? = Yes - Do you use Endurance Charges? = Yes - Is the enemy Burning?= Yes - Is the enemy Ignited? = Yes - Is the enemy Chilled? = Yes Use with Remnant of Empires shield + Blood of Summer rusted sword for both Endurance and Frenzy charge generation. Tree: Jungroan Endless Delve (Tree, Skill set, Item set) ===================================== https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o5q_7B-s05k Key characteristics: - This build uses 2 main skills: - Blade Vortex while traveling between nodes - Seismic Trap when at the node - It was originally built for the HCSSF race. - Jung's video has a lot of ideas and good tips, including leveling suggestions. - He switches to Blade Vortex around level 60. - He also recommends Obliteration if you can get it (drop Avatar of Fire and take Fire Mastery that gives 40% conversion to fire). - He is not a fan of Glancing Blows. - Try to find an essence that can be used to craft a pseudo-5 link for Seismic trap (he recommends Essence of Horror for spell damage on helmet for 30% more elemental damage). How to configure in POB: - Do you use Frenzy Charges? = Yes (NOTE: He had this ticked but I have no idea how he planned to generate these charges. By the end of Week 1, he was using a Watcher's eye, Impresence, Obliteration, Death Rush, Icefang Orbit, etc. Even without gear, the build looks quite good. - Make sure to cap Spell Suppression - dexterity, items, and quartz flask will help a lot here. - Need to cap Poison chance as well - without gear it is at 70%. You can also take Magebane to make it easier to cap Spell Suppression. - Some useful uniques include Maligaro's Cruelty, Cold Iron Point, Obliteration Wand, Devouring Diadem. - This tree is not specifically built for delving - it is a general SSF tree. Dropping the Inveterate wheel will make it much hard to cap spell suppression. - Without Magebane, we are at 87% Spell Suppression - prioritize getting suppression on gear to cap this. - There are many good nodes we don't take, such as Ethereal Feast and Void Barrier. I believe there is a lot of opportunity to tweak this tree, especially if you are not playing HC. - This tree is not specifically built for delving - it is a general HC tree.
