Notes
Hey guys Cold BV Occultist is super fun but incredibly squishy (at least this version is) so play it with that in mind.
I have my current setup in here, as well as a "budget version" which would cost about 20 div at the time of writing this.
For what it's worth, that's more or less what I started playing this build with and then worked my way up, buying upgrades as I played the game and farmed up some currency!
The main thing the budget version loses out on is damage and AoE. My current setup has better gear in every slot and makes full use of every gem slot available.
I honestly don't really recommend trying to build it without AT LEAST the 20 divs version, but even then, you're much better off with another build at that price point.
There is quite a bit of socket pressure in this build, some skills that are unnecessary in a bind are:
phase run (I keep mine on left-click, can run quartz flask instead)
and frostblink/shield charge setup (could just do flame dash to start out).
The biggest upgrades to focus on once you have the core items (Boots - Amulet - Body Armour - All the +1 Power Charges gear - Militant Faith) are mana reservation efficiency items:
(Enlighten gem lvl 3)
Helm with mana reservation efficiency suffix and eldritch implicit (eater influence).
Cluster Jewels with mana reservation efficiency (Small or Megalomaniacs).
This will let you fit in all the auras + Heralds. In the budget version of the skills tab, I have removed herald of ice.
Frankly, I would probably actually remove determination or zealotry myself, since to me, the whole point of the build is to see herald of ice explosions all over my screen.
But herald of ice has the least effect on our damage and survivability so I removed it here. I can't emphasize enough that you do want to fit all of these auras in ASAP.
After that I would worry about getting an Impossible Escape with the necromantic Aegis for increased skill duration nodes to make BV feel way better to play.
Then Awakened Unleash at which point you can drop the cast speed nodes on the tree.
Then probably a decent watcher's eye (with damage or defense if you want...) and work your way up upgrading one piece at a time.
