Leveling notes taken from Badger's Ice Trap Build: GENERAL NOTES: Ascendancy: Many people will argue that Chain Reaction is needed for the build, but I disagree. The area on Ice Trap is large enough to overlap on almost any boss in the game, and the defences in the other ascendancies are almost too good to pass up. HOWEVER, this is not a hard and fast rule. You can drop Explosives Expert or Born in Shadows for Chain Reaction to your liking! ICE TRAP LEVELLING: ACT 1: Starting with the classic Orb of Storms/Stormblast Mine is probably the best, but if you want to use traps, you can begin from town with Explosive Trap. IF STORMBLAST MINES: Level 2: - 2L: Stormblast Mines > Chance to Poison level 4: - 2L: Stormblast mines > Swift Assembly - 2L: Orb of Storms > Arcane surge - Pick up Dash or Frostblink for movement - Pick up Bear Trap for later Level 8: - 3L (if you have): Stormblast Mines > Added Lightning Damage > Swift Assembly - 3L (if you have): Orb of Storms > Arcane Surge > Added Lightning Damage WAND RECIPE TIME: - Recipe: Topaz or Sapphire ring x2 (white), Alteration x2, Magic Wand x2 - Sell all to vendor = 2 Lightning or Cold damage Wands - (make sure to be picking up all rares and selling the ID'ed for alteration shards) - If you do not have the currency, just do 1 wand!
