Notes
Lvling PoB: https://pobb.in/nvwafAtb6v0z (Swap back to this pob after acts) Tattos can be movement speed, projectile speed, spell suppression or accuracy if needed. (remember proj speed is damage because of your bow mastery) ---Elemental hit vs lightning arrow vs tornado shot? Ele hit is by far the best option at low budget because it's the only bow skill that provides a massive amount of flat damage, which is a stat you lack on low budget/league start. Lightning arrow ends up feeling a lot better to play once you actually have a really good bow/hyrris to makeup for the low flat, it's also better for phys convert when you swap to a Mirror bow. Tornado shot is generally the worse clear out of all 3 nowadays, but provides the highest single target option out of all 3. Do note, this skill feels really bad on low budget. If you do want to play tornado shot, I generally advice to wait until you acquire a +2 bow, or the clear might feel quite bad. It's still a fine option to swap earlier if you're boss rushing and don't need clear. Pantheon: soul of the brine king until you're ailment immune(100% chance to avoid elemental ailments or purity of elements), after you can swap to solaris or lunaris. Minor pantheon is either Ralakesh or Shakari, depending on if you're weaker to bleed or poison. ---Which bandit? Alira if you need res, otherwise kill all for +1 passive point. You can swap between bandits with a vendor recipe, learn more here: https://www.poewiki.net/wiki/Deal_with_the_Bandits#Changing_the_Bandit_choice ---Deadeye or Warden? You only play warden when you need very high single target damage, usually this scenario is doing t17/nightmare maps, as the bosses can be extremely tanky. For atlas prog, 4 stone and t16/t16.5 mapping, deadeye is just the superior choice. +2 arrows is extremely valuable when starting out because you don't have any additional +arrows on bow/quiver yet. Tailwind/chain is also extremely strong. And eventually When you can get a ff/ff, than warden loses a lot of value, since you can get oath of spring or avatar of the wilds and have massive single target damage on deadeye. So keep in mind here, the Warden setup I have is pure single target (taking point blank, no fledging). Of course you could drop point blank if you already have enough damage. ---Trinity A common misconception with trinity is needing to deal equal dmg with 3 elements. You only need 2 elements to get max effect ouf of trinity. Ele hit is very easy to get trinity working. If you're using anger and have a very high fire dmg bow with no other element, than you might run into issues, but it's unlikely to happen. If that happens, just replace anger with another 50% auras (grace or haste). You'll know if you have too much of 1 element, because that element bar wont be filling up within the trinity UI. ---Inspired learning, do I need it/whats the purpose? This unique jewel just serves as a mini-hh and it's only good in content that spawns a lot of rares, like legion for example. If you're not doing high rare count content than I would skip that loadout and move onto the next one. ---Fledging vs no fledging and optimal single target damage. - Yes farshot from the helmet and ascendancy do stack together, giving you 90% more damage. They're different modifiers. Fledging is by far the best choice for pure map blasting, as it's just often 60% more damage at 70m, but it's a downgrade on bossing and something you swap off of if doing boss content early on. For pure boss damage, it's most optimal to be in point blank range, to constantly get a double hit with your LA/ele hit - You wont get a double hit if you're far shot range, because tornado spawns near you. This means if you're doing boss content, it's best to click point blank on your skill tree and stand in melee range vs bosses and it would be best to drop return proj for another damage support (inspiriation) Keep in mind, this does drastically change when you acquire Nimi's, as the ring make fledging optimal for both bossing and mapping, as you're able to stand in melee range and still get max far shot value. ---Steelskin vs immortal call? Steelskin is generally the better guard skill to use, but requires a high str level to use. Generally I would use immortal call until you acquire a lethal pride, which than solves all of your str issues, meaning you can swap to steelskin. ---Hyrri's Ire vs Daresso's vs Rare chest On ele hit daresso's is roughly equal DPS to hyrri's, but doesn't provide 30% spell suppression. The chest is extremely cheap though, while hyrri's is usually 7-10d on league start. 20% MS is also very nice early on with daresso's Hyrri's ire is the highest damage option, but can be expensive on league start. If you're playing lightning arrow over ele hit, than I would aim for this chest as the flat provides a bigger incease for this skill vs ele hit. Rare chest is the best option but the most expensive option. Allows you to match the dps of hyrri's, while providing resist or attributes and giving equivalant evasion - Don't go for this option till you can make an all T1-T2 chest. ---Hyrri's truth vs Yoke of suffering Yoke is the better option but also way more expensive, while hyrri's is extremely cheap and effective. Yoke is a pretty late game option, the biggest reason to swap to yoke is to help with resist. ----Which 50% auras to use? Grace - Haste - Anger - Purity of elements Anger is only really used when you can use 3 50% auras, as the damage it provides isn't massive while playing elemental hit. Has bigger value if you're playing lightning arrow because of the flat. In the early game you're generally going to be using Purity of elements with haste or grace on elemental hit. This depends if you want more speed vs higher evasion for defense. Purity of elements just helps with resist and gives cheap ailment immunity, later on when you can afford an Ancestral vision, you'll swap off of Purity of elements. You can also drop purity of elements after getting tamings, since they give a large amount of resist. Keep in mind when you swap off of purity of elements, you will want to achieve 100 ailment avoid. You'll get 50% from ancestral vision, 30% from boot implicit and 20% from thick skin life wheel on the tree. When entering Maps I prefer to use haste and anger and swapout one of them for grace in red maps (t11+) ---Lethal pride You're looking for a 2 double damage or 3 DD lethal pride - My video on how to search for them efficiently - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_kYy-s_B-ng ---How do you proc bleed for cornered pray? The small nodes on this wheel already gives you % chance to bleed and dealing any amount of phys damage can bleed, so even lightning arrow/torando shot will bleed enemies. For Elemental hit, you'll use a manaforged arrow setup with puncture, to gaurentee a bleed on bosses. Once you have Headhunter, you can drop this node, just depends on the content you're doing. As it's not high value if you're doing max clear speed strats where you one tap most packs. ---Pierce vs fork/chain? As always pierce is just the superior option when league starting, as you usually want awakened fork before swapping. Pierce is just a low investment of glove implicit or 3 passive points. For tornado shot though, you always want to be chain or the clear feels mediocre, as you don't have AoE on arrow impact, which is what makes pierce feel good on LA/Ele hit. ---Fledging and deadeye far shot, do they stack? Yes. The deadeye ascendancy node just has the name "far shot" but gives a different unique stat, making it stack with fledging. Giving you up to 90% more damage at max range, which is 70 units. ---Is Taming mandatory? No. While taming is very strong and it's something you should priotize, it's not needed for the build to funcftion. It just provides a ton of increase damage and resist, making it one of the best rings you can use until mirror rings. Death rush is also a very good option for pure map blasting. But provides no benefit for bosssing. ---Good jewel stats? For elemental hit, any crit multi works because the skill is all elements. Ideally you want 2 multi on your rare jewel Other good stats are life, atk speed, inc dmg, bow dmg. -------Crafting Guide-------- Note: this crafting is only for the higher end gear. life+resist gear you can just craft with greed essence, harvest reforge life or just buy from trade as it's usually cheap. Note when eldritch crafting your implcitis you want your desired mod to be lower tier then your undesired mod before orb of conflicting, this slightly increased the chance of succeeding. This only works until exceptional tier. A lot of this gear can also be crafted with recombs as well, just depends on whatever is cheaper at the time. Bow: Easiest way to craft is by using recombs for a triple t2 prefix bow. 1) Aug ilvl 82 spine bows for t2 or better flat 2) recomb 2 together. Essentially you keep doing this step until you endup with 2 bows that have 2 prefix each(suffix don't matter). 3) You'll combine 2 of those bows together (so 2 prefix with 2 prefix) - You just need 1 of each element, with 1 overlap. For example fire+cold prefix with fire+lightning. This gives you a 1/3 chance to succeed the recomb and endup with triple t2 prefix. 4) Now with prefixes done you lock them with bench craft (prefixes cannot be changed, 2 divines) 5) Use veiled chaos orb, this will only reroll your suffix. On unveil you're looking for crit or attack speed (crit is preferable, but either work). 6) Craft the stat you didn't unveil, so crit or attack speed and you're done. Quiver: Buy a fractured +1 arrow or T1 multi base, preferable on feathered arrow quiver. Needs to be at least ilvl 81, (ilvl 86 is ideal though) 1) Spam contempt essence until you hit T1 multi (or +1 arrow if you have a fractured multi base). 2) You now need 2 empty prefixes and 1 empty suffix. Annul if you need to, high chance to brick and if it does, back to step 1. 3) Craft cannot roll attack and use a combination of exalts/annuls until your desired life/increased damage with bow skills. When you have "craft cannot roll attack" you wont be able to annul your +1 arrow, or multi or flat physical damage. And your only exalt outcomes are maximum life and increased damage with bows skills. Body armour: Buy a T1 resist fractured evasion chest or spell suppression (but resist is probably a lot cheaper). 1) Spam any resist essence until you hit T1 or T2 spell suppression. 2) Use wild bristle matreon in bestiary for a cheap "suffixes cannot be changed" and then use harvest reforge life, repeat until t1 or t2 life. Helmet: Buy a T1 chaos resist fractured. 1) Spam spite essence until T1 or T2 spell suppression. 2) Use wild bristle matreon in bestiary for a cheap "suffixes cannot be changed" and then use harvest reforge life, repeat until t1 or t2 life. Gloves With abyss socket. To start off you need to buy gloves with either "increased damage against chilled enemies" or "added fire damage against burning enemies" or "increased critical strike chance vs shocked enemies" The base type of these do not matter as you will recomb. 1) Recomb these gloves with velour gloves. The best method I found is just to scour your velour gloves, recomb and pray. 2) After you have the modifier on your gloves, feel free to use the harvest res swap bench to get your ideal temple mod/cheaper method then divining. Then use a fracturing orb and hope it hits 3) Now use the fossil combo of hollow-shuddering-sanctified until t1 attack speed. Can also annul for an open suffix, then lock suffixes and reforge speed (if you remove the abyss socket, then go back to fossils). 4) Use wild bristle matreon in bestiary for a cheap "suffixes cannot be changed" and then harvest reforge life until t1 or t2 life. Basic gloves (cheaper). Buy a T1 chaos resist fractured. 1) Spam zeal essence until any t1 res (then use harvest res swap for whatever resistance you're missing). 2) Use wild bristle matreon in bestiary for a cheap "suffixes cannot be changed" and then use harvest reforge life, repeat until t1 or t2 life. Boots: Buy a T1 resist fractured evasion chest or spell suppression (but resist is probably a lot cheaper). 1) Spam any resist essence until you hit T1 or T2 spell suppression. 2) Use wild bristle matreon in bestiary for a cheap "suffixes cannot be changed" and then use harvest reforge life, repeat until t1 or t2 life. Rare jewels: For elemental hit 1) Use Virdian jewel and Spam reforge crit on harvest bench, any crit multi works because elemental hit is all elements. Generally just look for 3 solid stats (multi, life, atk speed, inc dmg, bow dmg). Medium Clusters: 1) You just spam harvest reforge speed, annul/exalt when needed. Can also fracture a t1 mod if you want to make a 4xT1 medium cluster. (have 3 mods, so the fracture has a 75% chance of succeeding). Large Clusters 12 passive: 1) Fracture 35% effect, can go for 3% attack speed/35% effect for a 50/50 fracture. 2) Spam harvest reforge speed and exalt/annul when you hit 3/4 mods. Spam reforge life if you have 3% attack speed fractured. This is a long and costly process. Can settle for t2 life, but you need 3% attack speed/35% effect/4% all res.
