Notes

This should be fairly self explaintory and easy to follow, make sure that you are progressing with the PoB

I've made tabs for each portion of the leveling process and post leveling process so as long as you follow those it should be a fairly smooth progression

For the gear cap your res on your own based on what you need for your character, id suggest doing one piece at a time and leaving rings for last
the reason I'd leave rings for last is it will make it easier to transition to a curse on hit ring if you dont need a ton of res on it.

If you get spell suppression on any of your gear you can drop spell suppression on the tree and opt for more damage
the dot multi nodes by Fatal Toxins and Growth and Decay are easy nodes for more dmg.

Crafting a Despair on hit ring is super easy using caster reforges on the harvest bench, id roll for decent res/life with it or accuracy

Lastly if awakened gems are not super expensive this is one of the best ways to scale damage.

For more investment you can get extra damage from awakened gems. the build gets close to 15mil with just those two in the tree

you can also get a +2 proj dendrobate, its super cheap for the base then just use tainted currency
