This EoW mines inquis is built as an all-rounder character that excels at achieving extremely high single target damage numbers early on with great cost efficiency.

Build rating:
Damage: S tier
Clear: B- to B tier
Defence: B to B+ tier
Cost efficiency: S tier (power you get for $$$ spent)

Farming mechanics:
1. BOSSING - invitations, pinnacles, nightmare maps, ubers
2. Early high hp farming content - e.g. essences, beasts, expedition
3. Late high hp farming content - e.g. kulemak, adversary/divinity rare monsters, exiles (if it's a thing), etc.

Buffs this league:
1. new CDR support gem for 40% CDR, increases 5 mine detonation to 6 mine detonation breakpoint (less overthrow, more front-loaded damage, reduce 1 affix from abyss jewel)
2. new exceptional supports / guaranteed support corr potentially
3. potential +6 essence with aura + support + archdemon helm (for something)
4. shrine belt (acceleration shrine is 50% action speed base - comes with projectile speed which is bad for EoW so if accessible, will swap to different mine)

Playstyle:
1. Shield charge + frostblink to move/position
2. throw mines a distance from monster (differs with slower proj)
3. Ideal distance EoW should end up is ON or slightly BEHIND the monster
4. mines generally naturally place the EoW ON the monster, just need to not throw mines too near or too far
5. Once you are endgame, with enough mine detonation speed with high level automation+detonation speed, position your character NEAR bosses you are dealing single target as detonations can happen as you are throwing mines from a distance

Clear:
1. Once out of acts, +3 pierce on tree (Piercing Shots notable)
1. Snakepit early on (+1 chain on right ring)
2. Runegraft of refraction (+1 chain & +1 fork --- can drop Piercing shots for Trick Shot instead)

BOSSING - Single target checklist for "bossing"
1. 1 or 2 taming  (massive inc damage)
2. interrogation (ez crit + 1 additional ailment for taming scaling)
3. arkhon tools (mana res eff, mine throw, ailment inc damage)
4. (optional) drop pious path ascendency into augury

WHEN YOU REACH MAPS - By level 68, you should have
1. +1 cold weapon/shield
2. accessible frenzy nodes + destructive apparatus + pierce on tree (MANDATORY QOL)
3. mana flask early to sustain EB MoM (can drop when uber lab done for Pious Path)
4. if lacking resistance, spec into practical applicaiton / survivalist

Notes:
1. DoTs can drain ES/mana so early on before pious path where you can regen ES, mana flask can help with that
2. Mine throw speed is BIG QOL and DAMAGE, I personally want to aim for 0.32 throw time eventually. Early on, this can be clunky with lower throw speed numbers
3. Mine overthrow can happen if you have too fast mine throw speed with too slow detonation time. Generally should be ok if you have Volatile Mines notable and late game you have new CDR gem + detonate mines qual to speed up detonation.
4. 20% quality gives you 2 additional proj. Ballpark 8 proj no qual, 10 proj with qual, 12 proj if deadeye.

Leaguestart uniques that are good:
1. doedre tenure (~10c early)
2. snakepit (~5c)
3. mutewind whisperers (~5c)
4. taming (~1-2d)

Progression:
1. [Levelling 1-28] rolling magma + hft. If have friend to get you faster attacks that's great, otherwise mule a ranger for momentum for shield charge
2. [Levelling 28-maps] arma + crema. If you're new to this levelling meta, watch out for sockets and do 1-2 practice runs. Alternative is just firestorm (1 button instead of 3)
3. [Act 6] ***IMPORTANT*** Buy a levelled Eye of Winter gem (from Clarissa A3 town) to level in off-hand (1 chance orb - you can buy this earlier to level if you have currency/time)
4. [Labs] In subsequent labs, add quality to EoW gem, it's ~10% more damage per 10 qual, so 1% more dmg per qual on avg.
