Notes
Important: You want your attack speed (in game) to be 6.06 or less when you don't have level 5 Awakened Cast on Crit. Do not get any extra attack speed. We get all the AS we need on the tree to hit 6.06. It says 6.07 in PoB but it is 6.06 in game. YOUR WATCHER'S EYE CAN ROLL ATTACK SPEED, SO MAKE SURE THAT YOU TAKE THAT INTO ACCOUNT AND CHECK BEFORE BUYING. JUST CONTROL C + CONTROL V INTO POB TO CHECK Once you get Awakened Cast on Crit (Level 5, or Level 2 +3 Level of Crit Gem Mastery), you want your attack speed to be 7.55 or less in game. I achieved this through Frenzy on Hit Charm + Attack Speed on Flask, but there are other ways to achieve it, such as AS on Timeless Jewel + Other Jewels, spending some passives, etc. You will likely not have 100% chance to crit without Assassin's Mark. That is okay! Your clear will be fine and you'll have 100% chance to crit vs Rares/Bosses. However if your crit is too low replace Crit Damage Support with Crit Chance Support. Clear: Use Ice Spear of Splitting or Arc of Oscilliation or experiment to see what you find fun! Single Target (Pinnacle Bosses): Firestorm of Pelting if they don't move a lot, Firestorm of Meteors if they do. Mana cost is important, you want to make sure your Mana Regen is greater than your Mana Cost per Second. You can lower mana cost by using -Mana cost on rings. If you cannot get that yet then USE A LOWER LEVEL OF THE SPELL GEM. It is a DPS loss, but not that big. However, it is worth getting the -Mana Costs later to squeeze out more damage from level 20/21 gems. Once you get Enlighten Level 3 you can Annoint Charisma on The Stampede and switch to using Wrath for big DPS boost. Until then use Tempest Shield for a little extra defense. If you get Enlighten Level 4 & +1 to Socketed Gems Shaper's Touch you can Annoint something else on The Stampede, I use Marked for Death for Cull Resists can be tight on this build, so feel free to use a resist gem or two at the start. Try to buy or get a high Additional Resists Flask on one of your flasks. Helping Alira (bandits) is an option but I prefer more passive points. Also try to get some amount of Chaos Res if you can. You don't need a ton thanks to your large ES pool, so even getting close to 0% should be okay. You can use Rare Boots, but be warned: You will be very slow. Stampede may not give the best stats, but it improves your movement speed by a ton and allows for an annoint. I recommend Stampede. Try to make sure your Intelligence is higher than your Strength. This is for Cyclopean Coil to give Shock Immune. Tempest Shield also gives it, but our goal is to drop that as soon as we can for Wrath. We're nearly immune to all ailments. Shock Immune -> Cyclopean Coil/Tempest Shield Ignite Immune -> Cyclopean Coil Freeze Immune -> Brine King Chill -> Resistant, not immune For your small Pantheon you can use either Shakari for Poison/Chaos or Ralakesh for Bleed/Corrupting Blood Switch to Solaris for Pinnacle Bosses Charms: I was able to get % Strength + Mana as ES relatively cheaply early on and used those until I could get % Strength + Strength/Int. Those are best in slot. I am using a Frenzy Charm for AS breakpoint with CoC. If very cheap, just get whatever is good, even +Strength/Int with no second mod would be okay. Make sure your Brutal Restraint is Balbala, and always double (and triple) check it in PoB before buying. You don't want to brick your build by getting too much attack speed. Just copy the item and paste it into PoB. As you get more HP, you want to DELEVEL (Vendor the Gem + Scour to reduce by 1 level) your Arrogance to make yourself reserve more life. Just look in PoB and lower the level to see if you hit the next breakpoint. Super simple. This gear is what I would consider the minimum to play the build as I am playing it. This is for cast on crit with energy blade. If you have less money you could instead go for something like Ghostwrithe and do a self cast with Energy Blade + Battlemage/Spell blade It should not be too expensive to get these items with mediocre rolls, especially at this point in the league.
