avarius jewel better placed at templar left if rolls are good, but especially in ssf setting is is hard to secure early game.

frost bomb if you want/have wisdoms.
don't forget to hold a sword and axe with nice colours in your offhand to switch into once you reach level 10 for leap slam.

level 10
add leap slam + momentum

level 12
buy creeping frost and level it somewhere.

level 16
add rf, herald of ash (while keeping remaining setup).
support priotity for RF: elemental focus (18) > efficacy.
do not recommend conc effect.
buy cold snap and level it somewhere. start farming vaal side areas to hopefully get vaal cold snap. if you get VCS, equip it to level right away.

level 24
take elemental weakness. buy purity of elements if noob or determination if not a noob.

level 28
buy vortex from clarissa (you will need a chance orb or an orb of fusing to convert into a chance orb from clarrisa. about 1/25 possibility you will have neither of these at this time.
you can pivot into icyhot setup here now, mirroring my regular gem setup as closely as possible, or you could take armageddon brand to replace rolling magma and play righteous fire + armageddon brand as primary setup. 
allocate Runebinder if you choose the latter path.


if you delay the swap, i would commit to cold rf in Act 5 when you reach the chamber of innocence.
