Notes
Build is really expensive and not the best out there but pretty fun. For that PoB you need level 6 Awakened Spell Cascade in your Shako links to achieve 4.8m radius on despair to have 3 overlaps If you can't get it, just use regular spell cascade for now, it won't hurt your dps at all, just will make your clear little bit worse. Most important Awakened Spell Cascade is for Vixen's curses, so get that first, lvl 5 will be enough if you have any +2 corruption that works for your curses (AoE, Curse, Duration etc and lvl 21 curses, you don't need quality on those) Get the highest Impending Doom Shako you can afford, atleast lvl 30. Important note, there are supports on Shako which will BRICK YOUR BUILD one way or the other (change curse behaviour completely or be annoying) there is a list of them (if I skip something I am sorry) https://poedb.tw/us/Despair#SupportedBy BRICK SUPPORTS: - Cast While Channeling, Trap, Blastchain Mine, Spell Totem, Cast on Death, Cast when Stunned, Blasphemy, Unleash, High Impact Mine, Concentrated Effect, Spell Echo, Intensify Net positive supports: Increased Area of Effect, Spell Cascade lvl 10 (worse clear but more damage, also need to get more aoe if lvl is lower than 8 for that PoB) All supports in Shako support your socketed curse, ID from helmet cannot be supported by anything, so don't get baited by any dmg support you think would give you dmg, it doesn't, just don't get any brick mod and you will be all good. Items: Wand - recombing probably best way to craft it, you can also craft it on fractured chaos dot multi and spam cast speed essence until you hit t1 damage over time multi, cast speed is not necessary on wand but is a QoL Helical - this craft is in range of 120-200d+ depends on your luck, you have to fracture Essence of Delirium 15% max roll DoT multi, then you spam intelligence essence until you hit t1 all elemental res, then you need annul if you don't have both prefix and suffix open, craft suffixes cannot be change and Augment (add/remove) Chaos on harvest bench, pray it hits t1 (you can settle on lower with progen up you are overcapped but go for t1 tbh) Chest - you can go for block craft with open suffix on necrotic or just ignore that and get 3x eva/es prefixes. How to make build more budget friendly? Change clusters to Septic Spells + Circling Oblivion to not use Poison Tattoos + you can add curse mastery for 20% poison chance, can also use Herald of Agony instead of Flesh and Stone You can craft Cogwork ring instead of Helical ring, you craft it the same way, just will have to compensate resistances, swap Max Life Grand Spectrum with all elemental res one. Use t2 base for chest Torturer's Garb, they should be a lot more affordable than necrotics. For more budget stuff just check my day1-week1 Poe ninja snapshots https://poe.ninja/builds/phrecia/character/Bialy1996%234567/Sherman_GoonBringer?type=exp&i=4&search=class%3DHarbinger&timemachine=week-1 FF/FF jewels combos: You could change your pathing a bit and add Whispers of Doom to fit a lot of different jewels if you drop +1 Curse jewels: - Profane Bloom for mapping - Bastion of Elements for even more elemental mitigation - Mistress of Sacrifice with Bone Offering to have more block (wand with trigger highly reccommended for that) and many many others For mageblood flasks, you can drop Silver Flask for Jade Flask for some harder content where you don't need extra movement speed. Later on you can try to get CB immune on any jewel and unnaffected by bleeding malevolence Watcher's mod or just use minor pantheon Ralakesh, then suffix on flask could be less effect of curses/%inc evasion/movement speed For content where there is a lot of degens (some ubers for example) I would advise on running life flask instead of Progenesis. Gameplay tips: - target slightly behind bosses so you can get triple overlaps - save vaal discipline for heavy degens/damage where you cannot outleech the oncoming ES dmg and cost - can socket frost shield somewhere else than Svalinn, frost shield stops your ES recharge so having it proc every 3s roughly if you block often might be a bad thing - need to press temp chains manually every 10s or so to have buff from Balance of Terror up, its not that much important during mapping but for tanky targets
