Notes

Hey guys, Timmy here with an update for my 3.20 build guide for Lightning Arrow Deadeye.

As there haven't been too many changes, the build guide from before will still work.
In this video, I will give a brief recap on the Lightning Arrow build and highlight the changes made in 3.21.

I do have to mention that this build is pretty squishy though. I do have a few trees in the PoB, depending on how 'squishy' you want to make your character.

This build uses Lightning Arrow for clearing, and you can either use Storm Rain Totems or Barrage for single target (it's up to your personal preferrence).

Your links are:
Lightning Arrow - Trinity - Elemental Damage with Attacks - Inspiration - Mirage Archer - Increased Critical Strikes/Damge
And either:
Barrage - Elemental Damage with Attacks - Inspiration - Added Cold Damage - Increased Critical Damage - Trinity.
OR
Storm Rain - Ballista Totem - Focussed Ballista - Elemental Damage with Attacks - Multiple Totems - Increased Critical Damage
You can replace Focussed Ballista with Added Cold Damage if you want.

Until level 85-ish, you want to remain as a non-crit build with either an Imperial or a Thicket bow. Afterwards, you want to transition to crit-based and swap to a Spine Bow (as they have the best crit chance).

For leveling, you want to go with Caustic Arrow - Mirage Archer - Pierce and Shrapnel Ballista - Faster Attacks - Pierce.
As a quick sidenote, I will be testing to see if Momentum Support can work with totems to turn them into gattling guns.

Afterwards, you want to use Rain of Arrows - Added Cold - Mirage Archer and Shrapnel Ballista - Faster Attacks - Pierce (or Momentum)

At level 19, we pick up Precise Technique for 40% more damage.
At level 20, we get Graceful Assault to give us Onslaught.
At level 22, we get Point Blank for more damage as well.
Because of Graceful Assault, you want to make sure that your accuracy is higher than your maximum life. If at any point you feel like you want more accuracy, you can get the Weathered Hunter or Acquity nodes.
We also want to pick up Primieval Force with the 'Hits have 25% chance to treat elemental resistances as inverted' mastery. Since we penetrate resistances rather than lowering them, this mastery is perfect for us.

Your main links will be
2green1blue1red: Rain of Arrows - Mirage Archer - Trinity - Elemental Damage with Attacks
3green1red: Storm Rain - Ballista Totem - Lesser Multiple Projectiles - Added Cold
Besides this, you want to use
Blink Arrow
Frostblink
Herald of Ice
Purity of Elements
War Banner (not needed)
Snipers Mark
Blood Rage

For your first lab, you want to grab Gathering Winds for Tailwind to go faster.
After act 6, you can pick up Tornado and Hydrosphere to help you with bosses. You can also replace Herald of Ice with Determination after you get the mana reservation nodes.

Around act 8, we can pick up Mastery Fletcher and Multishot for 2 extra projectiles to swap to Lightning Arrow.
For your second lab, you want to get Ricochet for the +1 chain. While you can refund Gathering Winds to get Endless Munitions for the 2 extra projectiles, I personally would suggest to just stick with the Tailwind for now.

In maps, you can pick up some more life, accuracy and spell suppression nodes.

For early bows, you are looking for big elemental damage and attack speed on an Imperial or Thicket bow.
Likewise, you either want a Broadhead or Primal Arrow Quiver with big damage and attack speed.
Due to the +2 projectiles from the tree, you don't need +1 arrows early on.
On your body armour, you want to get a Zodiac Leather early on for the high evasion that it provides. Afterwards, you want to get a Hyrii's Ire for extra damage and suppression.
For a helmet, you can either go with an Asenath's Mark or a Trigger Socketed Spells on Focus helmet with Hydrosphere, Tornado, Innervate (replace with Power Charge on Crit) and Sniper's Mark.
For your rings and amulets, you do want to get the 'non-channeling skills have - total mana cost' and either resistances or attributes. Be sure to get a Lapis or Agate Amulet if possible.
If you want to, you can also get The Taming instead for extra damage.

On your gloves and boots, you want spell suppression, resistances, attributes.
Additionally, if you get 'movement speed + onslaught on kill' on your boots, you can drop the Graceful Assault nodes on the skill tree.
For your belt, you can get a Stygian Vise or a Heavy Belt with resistances.

When swapping to crit, you want to look for a Spine Bow as this has the highest base crit chance of the bows.
Later on, you can also swap to a Lioneye's Fall jewel, which makes it so that modifiers to melee weapons instead apply to bows.
As such, we can take all the crit strike chance and multi for claws and daggers, which will now affect our bow instead.
You can also get a Thread of Hope to access the crit nodes and +1 projectiles nodes.

It should also be noted that you can also go for Tornado Shot instead of Lightning Arrow if you are inclined to do so.

I will personally be playing this build in the East Oriath Exiles private league, where I will provide daily updates on how I feel about the changes in 3.21.
