Leveling skill gem choices:
Leveling in the campaign is pretty straightforward. Start with Galvanic Arrow as your primary damage ability. Use this until you unlock Tornado Shot towards the end of Act 3 (preferably with a 4-link at your disposal).
Alternatively, leveling with Lightning Arrow starting at the end of Act 1 all the way through the campaign until you transition into Soulthirst is not only viable but more efficient, in fact. The same leveling tree can be used.
Potential issues while leveling:
If at any point you find yourself shy on attribute requirements, you can always sacrifice a point or two for the +30 strength/intelligence nodes nearby.
Once you equip Trinity, make sure your elemental damage spread is balanced so you achieve resonance on all three reliably. You will have to maintain doing this until you make the transition into 100% phys>ele conversion.
Two major transitions that occur with this build:
First, when you transition from the campaign to maps, featuring the following:
1) Major respec in favor of getting more effective health
2) Dropping Haste in favor of Grace & Defiance Banner
3) Picking up Soulthirst and changing your flask setup accordingly
4) Continuing the pure-elemental Trinity-focused damage archetype
5) Working towards a pair of corrupted implicits on gloves/amulet to unlock Elemental Weakness on Hit (on top of Sniper's Mark)
Second, when you transition from doing low/mid-tier maps to high-tier juiced maps
1) Finishing your atlas, including getting all four voidstones (you will almost certainly have to buy the necessary carries)
2) Transitioning from pure-elemental to 100% physical-to-elemental conversion
3) Picking up an Inspired Learning and two 6-passive flask duration medium cluster jewels (ilvl 68+)
4) Picking up the remaining unique gear pieces necessary to flesh out the build
5) Continuing to work towards a pair of corrupted implicits on gloves/amulet to unlock Elemental Weakness on Hit (on top of Sniper's Mark)
Upgrades to consider when moving forward with the build:
1) Getting maximum quality onto the remainder of the gems
2) Awakened Elemental Damage with Attacks support for elemental reflect immunity at max rank
3) Awakened Fork support to fork arrows not once but twice (even at rank 1)
4) Diver Dash to help give Phasing for when the Quartz flask isn't up
5) 28% quality on the Bismuth Flask from Hillock in the Mastermind's Lair
6) "Tornado Shot Fires an Additional Secondary Projectile" helmet enchant.
7) Converging the two medium clusters onto an 8-passive bowyer Large Cluster jewel with good notables
Additional notes:
You cannot have Elemental Weakness as an implicit on your gloves without an Additional Curse implicit on your amulet paired with it, else the curse will simply override Sniper's Mark, resulting in a net DPS loss.
Annointing Sovereignty onto an already corrupted amulet will cost a Tainted Oil alongside three Silver Oils. Given the corruption's low weighting and the annointment's high cost, it's still best to use a Tainted Oil after the fact.
