> FAQ < I can't sustain my mana, how do I fix this? This is llkely due to the change to Inspiration in 3.25. We should still be fine overall, you might just need a bit of investment(in order of importance): - Make sure you have the "10% chance to recover 10% of mana when you use a skill" mastery - Get % reduced mana cost crafts on your rings, this should be great especially with fertile catalyst quality - Get some more mana regen % on gear - Drop some cast speed, we should have more than enough damage anyway I can't cap my suppress, what do I do? First of all: because of our absolutely massive combined lifepool(life + mana + es) being suppress capped isn't absolutely necessary. It's really nice though, especially once you get to pinnacle bosses. Once you go Kitava's Thirst capping suppress will be hard, some tricks: - Use the Careful Planning unique jewel to get a bunch of dexterity which synergizes well with Magebane - Get a lightning damage leech corruption on your Kitava's Thirst, or use a ring like Valako's Sign. This frees up the lightning damage leech implicit we use on gloves, and can be replaced with suppress instead. - Grab a few more 4% suppress nodes in the "Reflexes" wheel. - Get a Mageblood :) Why isn't my Kitava's Thirst proccing consistently? This is very likely due to your mana cost being below 100. Ice Nova has to use at least 100 mana per cast(when on full energy shield). As an added trick you can link Archmage to your Frostblink of Wintry Blast and try to get that above 100 mana cost as well. What mitigation does this build have? It doesn't look like a lot? Combining our life, mana and energy shield we actually have a huge pool of "life". Combined with Endurance charges(which we get 5 of) this means we can tank things like Shaper slams(and even Uber Shaper with Arcane Cloak up). We also have huge recovery, overall this means we shouldn't have any issues with survival. > LEVELING < At the start we level with a pretty classic Rolling Magma setup. Try to aim Rolling Magma just in front of the feet of the monster you're fighting to get overlap and thus more damage. Once we hit level 31 we can use Archmage. Because our cast speed isn't great yet it's best to use Firestorm instead of immediatly switch to Frostbolt + Ice Nova. > AILMENT AVOIDANCE < Once we have our unique jewels, mainly Ancestral Vision combined with capped suppress, you can get 50% chance to avoid ailments on your boots. Being ailment immune gives us a bunch of tankyness, it also allows you to swap some flask suffixes for more quality-of-life oriented ones. > KITAVA'S THIRST OR NOT? < Kitava's Thirst is a (small) loss of dps and a loss of tankyness. It also makes suppress capping way harder. It does however turn the build into a 1-button build, which feels great, and almost anyone that tried it didn't switch back. Overall we recommend Kitava's Thirst, but if you want to drop it for a rare helmet that's completely fine as well.
