Guide by Allie https://www.twitch.tv/Allliee_ https://www.youtube.com/c/Alliee This is the Mageblood/Expensive Ver EXTREMELY IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT COC PLEASE READ THIS PLEASE Cast on Crit has EXTREMELY important breakpoints. If you do not know about them they can seriously impact your dps, reducing it by up to 50% even if you go over it ever so slightly. This might sound scary but its very very simple you just have to keep these numbers in mind: 14-51% CDR - NO MORE than 7.57 Cyclone APS 52%+ CDR - NO MORE than 10.10 Cyclone APS TLDR: If you do not have Level 9 Awakened Cast On Crit (Level 5 + 3 From Mastery + 1 from Skin) and DON'T have 19% or 20% Elevated CDR boots you will not reach 52% cdr. Because of this, If you cant get a Level 5 Awakened Cast on Crit or the boots you don't want to go for 10.10 APS and want to stay below 7.57. As soon as you have both stack aps to get to 10. YOU DO NOT want to go past the 7.57 and 10.10 APS thresholds. Even going to 10.2 APS will reduce your dps by over 40%. This is due to the server ticking 15 times a second and if you happen to have too much APS you will crit again before the cdr of CoC is up causing you to miss a trigger or multiple triggers. Gear TLDR Changes Clusters - Swapping to Voices and heavily scaling reservation smalls with 35% inc effect. This can be adjusted by annointing Charisma and keeping the Mana Reservation Mastery on a lower budget. Resistances - Need to focus on resistance rolls all over the place between clusters and rings. Need to get close to max rolls to meet res reqs. REMEMBER: You can harvest swap resistances on gear AND clusters to get essentially "cheap" divines on the res rolls. Str & Dex - Need higher rolls to be able to reach the reqs. Melding - Gives us insane amounts of ehp which we can only fit with the help of a res roll on Mageblood. Aegis - Crucible Only: Looking for a +4 Aegis to abuse Melding and hit close to 90% all res. Helmet Same as pre Mageblood but try to get both the corruption & enchant now. The best helmet for this build is a Crown of the Inward Eye. This is a wonderful helmet giving you dmg from es scaling as well as global es which scales our es harder. Lastly, it is a high armor base greatly helping hit high armor values for Aegis. You ABSOLUTELY need "Forbidden Rite fires an additional Projectile" enchanted on it. This enchant is ~30% of the dps this build does. This should be cheap as it is enchanted this way very commonly by lab runners. The BIS pre mirror tier option is also corrupting this helmet with +1 Power Charges. Depending on the popularity of this build this can cost 4-30 Div. The roll on the helmet determines most of the cost. +1 Power is ~20% more dps and I'd recommend buying this asap. Chest Due to the nerfs to Global Defenses a few seasons ago, Skin of the Lords and Skin of the Loyal are the only 2 budget options for this build. Look for either with 3G3B, ideally you get your hands on a Skin of the Lords for +2 gems and find any keystone that does not brick your build. The BiS option is a Lords with Unwavering Stance for Stun Immunity but that is a one of a kind item after the breach changes. If Loyals are too expensive you can also look for Lords. +1 Socketed corrupted Lords is the same thing and you can look for other rolls such as: +1 Max Res +2 Proj +2 AoE Belt Divine your Mageblood if needed. Might be expensive but a higher Dex roll or higher Fire Resistance roll might make gearing easier. You most likelly will need to Catalyst for Attibutes to help with the dex req. DONT get a 3 or 2 flask Mageblood, you really need 4 flasks for this build. Dagger Upgrade to the Mid-End dagger with +1 Chaos. Guide on all daggers as its too big to fit in the notes: https://youtu.be/Aq9npk8jISw Shield The only option for this build is Aegis Aurora. These are extremely cheap and overpowered. Look for "100% Chance to Avoid Bleeding" as it is an incredibly annoying thing to deal with. Try to also find +4 Max Cold Res as this will let you reach 88%-89% All Res depending on if you have a +1% chest or not. Ignore Corruptions and focus on a +4 tree and then try to get "100% Chance to Avoid Bleeding" as well to get 1 Mageblood Suffix back. Boots For boots we need an Elevated Shaper mod "x% increased Cooldown Recovery Rate". The Elevated version lets it go to 20% as a max roll which is important. Ideally we want to combine these with Elevated Tailwind boots for a large amount of as. For the rest of the stats we hope for a good suffix ideally a resistance, and for prefixes we hope for es and ms. Guide: Step 1 Buy Elevated Shaper CDR Boots Buy Elevated Tailwind Hunter Boots MAKE SURE the Elevated mod is the only influence mod on the item. They will have Shaper & Hunter in the mod names. MAKE SURE one of the mods is on a Sorcerer Boots base Step 2: Awaken the 2 boots together combining both onto the Sorcerer Boots base using an Awakener's Orb. Step 3: Hope it has an open prefix. If it does not and it has an open suffix you can beast craft Remove Prefix Add Suffix to save it. If not then yolo annul or sell them as is and try step 1 again. Step 4: Craft "Suffixes Cannot be Changed" and Veil Chaos Orb. Craft Maximum Life & Life Regen Hybrid to block if you have an open prefix and THEN unveil for higher odds at Movement Speed. Step 5: Craft %ES or Flat ES if you have an open prefix and Exalted Orb Slam if you still have something open. Craft Resistance instead if you ended with an open Suffix. Step 6: THIS IS IMPORTANT - Divine the CDR to 19% or 20% BOTH WORK. Gloves The only gloves this build wants is Hands of the High Templar. You have quite a lot of options here so I will give some suggestions. You absolutely need "Despair on Hit", this can either be gotten on the gloves or on a Hunter ring. I recommend on gloves to make it substantially easier to fit resistances and attributes on rings. You need +1 to Purity of Ice somehow. Either +1 on a shield or fixing it on gloves are the only way to do it. Because of this +1 Socketed Gems, +2 AoE Gems, or +2 Aura Gems are needed on the gloves. +x% to Spell Crit Chance is a massive dps multiplier. Attacks have +x% to Critical Strike Chance makes it substantially easier to get cyclone crit capped. Rings For rings we will be using them as filler slots for resistances & attributes we need. No matter what the rings need to have "Non-Channelling Skills have -7 to Total Mana Cost" crafted on them as a suffix. I will include a crafting guide to make any sort of ring you will need for this build. You can also get a Fractured Despair on Hit ring if you didn't get it on gloves. Crafting Guide: Step 1: Start with a ring base. Either Moonstone, Two-Stone, Generic 1 Resistance, or Fractured Despair on Hit. Step 2: Spam either Deafening Essence of Woe for ES or Rage/Sorrow based on what you need. If you need resistances on the Suffixes use Woe, if you need Str or Dex use the appropriate Essence. Step 3: With an open Prefix craft "Non-Channelling Skills have -7 to Total Mana Cost" Amulet We need to swap to Ashes of the Stars now. This saves us 1 passive point with Divergent Tempest Shield and gives us the reservation we need to fit everything in. Look for a "20% Reservation" roll first as it is substantually more important than the Quality. Even a 20% Quality roll will Spell Block cap you and 30% only offers marginal bonuses. Flasks Dying Sun is BIS in this due to it multiplying the single and aoe dps of the build. Forbidden Rite scales very well with projectiles. Mageblood Flasks For Mageblood we have very specific flasks we need to run to be able to fit everything in. We are going to focus on attack speed and crit chance to allow us to hit our breackpoints easier. REMINDER: Enkindling Orb all of your flasks to 70% increased effect. REMINDER: Mageblood flasks are typically cheap and perfect ones cost 1 div each. Treat these as gear slots. 1 Div for a perfect bis item is cheap and max rolls make a difference. Make sure you get pefectly rolled flasks. Mandatory flasks: Silver - We can now scale the Onslaught on the flask with flast effect and this also gives us a consistent source of Attack Speed. Granite - An insane amount of consistent Armour making Aegis even stronger. Diamond - Offers generic Crit Chance for both Cyclone and Forbidden Rite. The 4th flask can be whatever you want. I strongly recommend Quicksilver but you could run Topaz/Ruby or Bismuth too which would also help on a lower budget with res. Prefixes: All 4 flasks need 25% increased effect on them. The duration doesnt matter as they are always on. Suffixes: 40% additional Elemental Resistances during Effect - This is what allows us to run Melding of the Flesh which gives this build insane amounts of ele ehp and makes it so tanky. 25% reduced Mana Cost of Skills during Effect - This can be scaled by flask effect allowing us to drop the majority of mana cost reduction while still making Forbidden Rite free. 60% increased Armour during Effect - This when combined with all of the other Amour we have gives us even more Aegis scaling. The last suffix can be anything you want. Some recommendations: 3% Regen - You will need to also get Zealot's Oath but can offer ~400 ES Regen Stun Avoid - Stun Immunity if you dont go Unwavering Stance Loyal Movement Speed - Speeeeeeeeeeeeeeed Gems Unique Jewels in this build: Melding of the Flesh - The most balanced jewel in the game. This allows us to scale 1 res as close as we can to 90% Max and this will make all other resistances match. This means we can abuse the +5 Max Cold Res on Aegis to give us a big head start. When combined with Purity of Ice and a bit of Max Res on the tree we can get very close to 90% for very little investment. Watcher's Eye - You need to get "Gain x Energy Shield per Enemy Hit while affected by Discipline" as a minimum. This roll is broken because of how many hits this build does. Cyclone hits 10x per second and Forbidden Rite 20 or 40 with Dying Sun up. With a bottom roll this is 600 es or 1000 es with Dying Sun per second per enemy hit. This alone will make you immortal with a big es pool. Thread of Hope - Need a Large thread of hope to pick up Glancing Blows & Divine Shield without wasting 20 passive points. It also lets us hit Light of Divinity for ~6% dps increase. Try to find a bottom roll -Resistance roll to make gearing easier. Militant Faith - There are quite a few rolls here but at a minimum you need the name to be High Templar Dominus and one of the per 10 devotions needs to be "mana cost reduction". Try to buy one with "aura affect" too if you can on the other 10 devotion. TLDR: Buy a militant faith from this link: https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Crucible/elOOGerUL Impossible Escape - 2 options here, either Unwavering Stance on a low budget or Imbalanced Guard on a high budget. These allow you to pick up Prismatic Skin by marauder. Imbalanced is better because you can swap the "+1 max cold" for "+1 Max All Res" and a ton of Armour from Soul of Steel making your defenses better due to Aegis.
