Check for usual suspects, 3 links and MS boots.

There is no Act 1 leveling skill, pick whatever you want. (Splitting Steel, Spectral Throw, Bows? pick your flavor)
Throw on Clarity and Vitality and replace as you see fit. (Probably Act 3)

Lab order for Paladin: Consecrated Ground > Elemental Damage > Elemental Relics > Determination

=================== Campaign Leveling ============================

After finding Merveil's Cavern (Act1) grab Poisonous Concoction from the vendor and follow the PoB
Now for leveling the first half of the campaign and beyond, the following is IMPORTANT

- Make sure your accuracy rating (press C and check character sheet) stays ABOVE your life pool, to get Precise Technique Keystone damage
- While playing with Poisonous Concoction keep updating your life flasks, this is what scales your damage, white bases are fine but get highest amount recovered
- Have a Lightning Strike in your offhand to level, paired with Multistrike
- When doing Labs, Quality up Lightning Strike, run a few extra Cruel Lab to 20% it
- Until you have 20% Quality, consider unspeccing the bonus projectile from the Multishot notable on your tree when swapping to LS, if you hate the 4 projectile aiming (can't namelock)

When finishing Library quest (Act 3) buy whatever you are missing from Siosa.
After Finishing Act 8, go do your 2nd Lab, and buy a Terminus Est sword off Trade

=================== Lightning Strike swap and Leveling ====================

Follow the PoB, as for gear, just equip life and resistances, don't worry about anything else, ID the rares the filter shows you.

At some point (lvl 78+) go to trade and buy yourself a Persaverence belt and a Taming ring, for The Taming you can vendor recipe all 3 Berek rings together to get it. Check on trade whatever is cheap to get one. Chuck em in asap

By the time you enter red maps, consider flexing lucky spell suppression mastery, having spell suppression close to cap or capped makes a huge difference in damage intake.

As for your sword, the base really matters because of the accuracy implicit, do not deviate from it.
Crafting a sword is rather easy with recombinating later, early on just chuck essences on it until something sticks, otherwise yoink a cheap one off trade. (Reaver base)

Buy the oils for cull at some point during reds, it's just too much nice QoL not to, otherwise respec some of the tree to grab it. (Marked for Death notable, next to Point Blank Keystone)

FLASKS, FLASKS, FLASKS.
I'd heavily considering dumping your chaos into setting up flasks before anything else really, they are incredibly strong in PoE1 (especially if you are coming off PoE2 and their charm system)

The rest of your gear is a just off the floor, the trade site, Rog, Essences, whatever you like using and have your hands on.

================== Final Notes ===================

Eldritch Implicits are important when setting up for your last 2 Voidstones and T16 farming. Make sure you get them after getting a baseline of accepteable gear.
