summon spooders with squire -> swap to aegis. they snapshot. this is most visible when you put melee splash in the squire setup only but i have it in both
enduring bond is kinda mandatory if you do this because otherwise the duration is too short.
the main downside of this is that you lose the option to level nine awakened gems in the offhand which honestly means that this is kindof a poor simu char but sunk cost fallacy goes brrt so here we are

why not
- defiance banner: rather just be crit immune
- life: getting chaos res is a pain and ci is comfy
- necro: the damage is highkey super meh. new bone barrier looks interesting though?
