Toxic Rain AoE Sweetspot: - The best breakpoint for single-target damage is 37-43% increased AoE (ideally 39% exactly) - You can easily get this via the 20% bow mastery, the 12% passive node before Heavy Draw and a Betrayal craft on helmet or gloves Crafting upgrades in order of importance: Life + resists - Early on just get your resists capped and enough life to survive +3 Bow (Before empower) - "The Porcupine" is a divination card that grants a 6 link short bow which is perfect for our crafting purposes (it also is easy to off colour due to its low attribute requirements) - This card can be self farmed in Orchard and Terrace maps as of 3.25 - Essence of Dread (Minumum tier of Shrieking to get +2) until you have an open prefix and open suffix then craft Cannot roll Attack Modifiers and exalt slam for +1 level of socketed gems - In trade leagues a Quill Rain is incredibly good for very cheap Spell suppression - This build excels at expedition so Rog crafting is a fantastic way to get early suppression gear - Can take the "Chance to Suppress Spell Damage is Lucky" mastery until you are fully suppress capped Physical mitigation - Due to our weak physical max hit early on getting physical damage taken as is huge for our defenses - Lightning coil is BiS chest for this and can be self farmed via "The Coming Storm" divination card (also a fantastic target for double corrupting) - This card can be self farmed in Colonnade and Graveyard maps as of 3.25 - The eldritch implicit on helmets grants 6% of physical damage taken as at its lowest tier and goes up to 8% at the higher tiers +1 Amulet - Reforge chaos in harvest takes on average 1 in 9 tries to hit +1 chaos skill gems Despair on hit - Saves a gem slot and good QoL - Reforge Caster on a Hunter influenced ring takes on average 1 in 14 tries to hit Despair on hit +2 Amulet - Crafting tutorial here: +3 Empower bow - Crafting tutorial here: FAQ: What order for my ascendancy? - Rushing to Master Alchemist is the easiest way to deal with ailments and from there if you need more damage Nature's Reprisal is the easy choice How can I get tankier? - Taking Master Surgeon instead of Nature's Reprisal annointing Hardened Scars and using a big life flask is an option to get huge recovery at the cost of needing to press a life flask every few seconds and finding wither elsewhere - With the large amount of physical damage taken as we get its worth considering getting maximum resists from eldritch implicits and the elemental flasks (Ruby Sapphire and Topaz) Bases worth crafting on: Helmet: - Haunted Bascinet - Conquest Helmet - Knight Helm Body Armour: - Conqeust Lamellar - Marshall's Brigandine - Full Wyvernscale Gloves: - Wyvernscale Gauntlets - Chimerascale Gauntlets - Dragonscale Gauntlets Boots: - Wyvernscale Boots - Chimerascale Boots - Two-Toned Boots Spell suppression ilvl breakpoints: Helmets, Gloves, and Boots - 68 76 85 Body armours, and Shields - 67 77 86
