## Strength - Fucks mobs with prox / temp bubbles, expedition shielded, max-block - Can do almost all expedition mods except for physical immune - No visual clutter ## Weakness - Eexpensive to start, difficult to scale - No defense other than Life+ES pool for non-fire damage ----- ----- # Notes ----- ----- ## General - Ignore the random tattoo (block chance) since they're residues from my previous build. - Use resistance tattoo for resist if gearing is an issue. - Non-battery staff can be use but need to support the movement and guard skills with Lifetap. - Replica Dragonfang can be used instead if it's not too expensive. ## Recovery - Corrupted soul to split damage taken from Righteous Fire and Annihilation's Approach to life and ES - Pious Path Forbidden Flame/Flesh to regenerate ES - Rational Doctrine only to generate Consecrated Ground for Pious Path; A crusader's body armour with the same mod can be used instead, but a decent one is difficult to craft. ## Auras & Reservation - Aspect of Spider wasn't planned initially, it was kept with recombinator unintentionally so I decided to use it. - Purity of Fire is required before getting 5x rare jewels with +2 max fire res, grab a mana reservation efficiency from mana master and replace Flesh and Stone with it (sacrificing points from the Hearty clusters). - Can get more DPS if using Skitterbots instead of Flesh and Stone. - If Aspect of Spider wasn't used, Determination can be slotted in instead of Flesh and Stone. ## Corrupting Fever vs Reap - Reap is better DPS, but more buttons to press. - This build can use Reap instead of Exsanguinate for main damage with just a gem swap. ## Cruelty - With the mastery selected, it's possible to grant up to 40% against The Feared and T17 bosses if they've no Spell Suppression or other damage reduction mods. - Swap to Efficacy support if less than 25%, and change mastery to take less damage from damage over time. ----- ----- # Crafting ----- ----- ## General Gears - Get fractured base and essence spam ## Jewels - Grabs jewel with any max res and use Harvest to swap them into fire - If roll value is low (1% instead of 2%), use Harvest to swap them into cold/lightning then swap back to fire, repeat until hitting 2% Weapon (require recombinator in 3.25 league) - Can use fossil (Aetheric+Corroded+Shuddering+Metalic) to have a good chance to for +2 to all spells base, but need to clean up mods afterward (use split beast to clean if possible). - Use recombinator method to merge +2 all spells staff with T1/2 spell damage. - Can either harvest force +2/3 all physical spells, or use recombinator method to merge +3 physical spells into it (need to prepare a second base with +3 phys and spell damage) - If using harvest method, craft suffix: multimod + prefix cant be change + cannot roll attack mod, then augment physical - Once prefixes are filled, lock prefix and harvest reforge caster for cast speed, or just clear suffix multimod cast speed + Phys DOT multiplier --- - If you happen to have an isolated "+2 to all spell" mod on a non-battery staff base, use recombinator to transfer it to battery staff - Scour the battery staf and recombine with it. - The mod will guarenteed to be kept if it's the only mod in both recombinator options. - This repeat until the +2 is in battery staff. ----- ----- ## Possible Upgrade ----- ----- - Staff with T1 Damage over Time Multiplier (10-16% more dps) - Hunter slam amulet for Physical Damage over Time Multiplier (6% more dps for T1), or better yet Simplex Amulet - Going Mageblood for more tankiness. - Better jewels (with 3 dps/or life plus +2 max res) - Min-max tattoo.
