----!!!important!!!!---- The brackets implies what lvl the skill gem requires. You only need to buy gems if I said to, the rest are from quest rewards. All the gems are also color coded to their respective attribute. Make sure your accuracy is always higher then your life, or else you'll be missing 40% more damage from precise technique. Gear: For your weapon focus on the highest dps 2h or 1h you can find, use anger/wrath/hatred essence on good bases. The best bases are usually sword or axes with base high attack speed. Everyother gear piece is just life/resist and make sure your boots have movement speed. After act 5 you should craft resist on all of your pieces so you have good resistance for act 6-10(Use transmutes, don't waste your alchemy orbs). Ideally don't have life on your body armour so you can use the life mastery for 15% max life mastery. this isn't that important, but it's nice to have. LVL 1-11 - Act 1 (Buy Iron ring/rustic sash when you can, these are replaced after act 1) (Buy Spectral Throw(1) when you enter town/Frostblink(4)/faster attacks(4)(dont lvl Frostblink) Can buy pierce for the lvl 14 swap ----Buy a 2h sword when you enter town after killing hillock----- You're looking for "Corroded Blade" ----Use whatever weapon until you take dual-wield nodes, 2h sword, 2h axe and 2h mace are optimal. Start focusing on 1h weps in acts 4-6---- theres no rush to go dual-wield, it just depends when you drop good 1h weapons, you'll want 2 different one handed weapons (sword, axe or mace). You can easily finish the campaign with a 2h weapon. Spectral Throw(1) - Added Fire(8) - momentum(1) or added cold(8) Leap slam(10) - Faster attacks(8) Frostblink(4) (Do not level frostblink because of the intelligence requirements) - Before being able to equip frostblink, you might have to use Dash(4) Decoy totem(4) - Extremely good for act 1 bosses so your spectral throw can hit multiple times. ----With 3.25 the blacksmith whetstone applies 20% quality to low ilvl weapons, use this often (the rarity of the item doesn't matter anymore, a rare lvl 5 sword will get 20% quality with 1 whetstone) ----Sell a lot of unid rares for transmutes, very important as we need transmutes to craft flat ele damage on our rings---- ----Make sure to do the strongbox in the upper prison (1 area before brutus) to get your 2nd quicksilver----- Bandits -----Help Alira----- Alira makes gearing way easier early on, eventually you want to swap to "kill all" for 1 passive points. LVL 14-37 - Act 2 and 3 (Swap to lightning strike, use pierce gem until you allocate pierce on your tree) (Buy Herald of Ice(16) - Poacher's mark(16) in act 2 and buy anger(24) in act 3) -- Poacher's mark is very important as it solves your mana issues on bosses, without needing leech. (craft flat on weapon after act 3 piety, but lower priority then rings as you replace your weapon more often) (Craft flat lightning dmg on rings after lunaris temple in act 3) Lightning strike(12) - Pierce(4) - added fire damage(8) or Elemental damage with attacks(18) or Trinity(18) (if you can proc it) (I would only use pierce on a 4 link, can use on a 3 link if your dmg is really good) frostblink - Blood Rage(16) (Reminder to not level frostblink) Leap slam - Faster attacks Poacher's mark(16) - Extremely important to always cast Poacher's mark on bosses, this solves all of your mana issues until you grab leech. Anger(24) - Herald of Ice(16) or herald of ash(16) (Use a low level precision if you need the accuracy, remember you always need more accuracy then life). If accuracy is fine, then drop precision. (Use herald of ice/herald of ash at lvl 16 and drop herald of ash for anger at lvl 24) - If you have a very strong phys weapon, then drop herald of ice over herald of ash. LVL 38+ - Act 4 through 10 Lightning strike - Multistrike(38) - Returning Projectiles(38) - Trinity or Elemental damage with attacks (Trinity is better but requires balancing your elemental damage) anger(24) - grace(24) - (use herald of ice until you get 10% instant leech, then mana should feel fine with anger/grace) - You can also use haste over grace if you want to speed through the campaign. frostblink - Blood Rage Leap slam - Faster attacks - momentum (only if you have a 3 link to spare, less important then the mark on hit setup). Poacher's mark - mark on hit(38) - lifetap(8) (If you don't have the links just selfcast Poacher's markk on bosses, it's very important because this solves all your mana issues until you get leech). --------!!Important!!------------ Make sure to always be crafting flat dmg on your rings (usually lightning damage). At the start you want to be using two difference weapon types (for example 1 axe and 1 sword) for the dual wield mastery. Depending on prices you can either dual-wield rebuke of the vaal until you go crit (very good weapon for the price) or stick with 1h sword/1h axe until crit claw setup (lvl 83~) I recommend to quality an assassin's mark in Merc/uber lab, as this is pretty mandatory to have at 20% quality when you swap to crit or you wont have a way to generate power charges. When you have the spare currency, keep using vaal orbs on lightning strike until you hit "Vaal lightning strike" this is massive for mapping. Ascendancy order: Bane of Legends > Headsman > Brutal Fervour > Masterful Form(try to complete uber lab asap, massive for defense). Swap to the "All in one slayer pob" once you finish lvling.
