Before Lightning strike:

You need reach level 12. Cobra Lash is a good option or anything that will let you reach level 12. X Added damage support gems welcomed before you get high level to use your correct gems. 


Early pierce source:

Your only option here is the Pierce support gem till you getting pierce from the tree. This will happen around level 34 or little before you rush to the pierce nodes. It's up to you!


Weapon options: 

1. Claws
2. Swords
3. Two handed swords
4. Daggers

This four is your options. If you find a high elemental dps weapon don't hesistate to switch to it.


Mana problems:


1. Mana flask. Sadly you cant run without mana flask in early game
2. Life tap if you dont want to use mana flask. You can counter the Life tap with vitality or life flask. (personal opinion here: i dont like this solution)


Nightblade support when to use?

Only when you have a good claw / dagger if you find any other high elemental damage weapon use it and swap out this one.


Early aura / damage:

1. Skitter bots
2. Herald of ice/thunder
3. Haste / Purity of elements


Ascendancy order:

1. Ghost of the deep 
2. Sea Legs
3. Stormy Seas
4. Glacial Wave
