Notes

Tree

2 Trees: One for the Staff Agnerod West and the other for Pledge of Hands.
Default (Agnerod West) uses unleash and takes the unleash nodes.
Default (Pledge of Hands) uses cast speed and area of effect nodes because it uses doesn't use Unleash.

Both trees are almost the same apart from a few points and both trees focus mostly on taking mana nodes and critical strike for spells.
The mana nodes are what is going to give Manabond the most damage. More mana --> More damage
A lot of critical strike chance because Manabond has a decent critical strike chance of 6% (for comparison 5% chance spells are pretty bad for critical strikes, 6% is ok and 7% is best)

Healthy mind Jewel is excellent for this build as it gives a lot of Mana and needs to be placed precicely there inside Socket #3 on the top of the tree.

The tree also takes Mind over matter which gives 30% damage taken from mana before life +10% from the Hierophant Acendancy which means 40% damage taken as mana before life.
You will also get a lot of "% of Maximum Mana as Energy shield": Hierophant ascendancy 20% + Arcane Will 3% + Mindspiral (Helmet) +10% = 33% of Mana as extra Energy shield.

Leeching Life, Energy shield and a lot of Mana regeneration.



Skills

Manabond: The less mana you have the more damage Manabond does. The more mana you have the larger the AoE.
So when you are mapping keep your mana high (just cast it normally) and when you are killing a tough enemy, use Arcane Cloak and then while your mana is low cast Manabond.
If it's a boss then use Sigil of Power, Arcane Cloak and then cast Manabond constantly.

v1: used with Agnerod west and Unleash setup (much easier to use on bosses as it doesn't need to stand still for long) <-- Recommended
v2: used with Pledge of Hands and Spell echo setup (needs to stand still for longer, most likely more conditional damage) <-- Alternative

Sigil of Power: When Activated creates a rune below which gives you protection and damage the more mana you spend inside. Start off with this on boss fights and follow up with Arcane cloak and Manabond.
Arcane Cloak: When used it takes ~66% of your mana and creates a really strong shield that will protect you and give you insane amounts of damage.
So when you are fighting a boss, activate your Sigil of Power and Arcane Cloak. Your mana will be low --> Manabond stronger + the amount of mana spent will be generated as additional lightning damage from SoP and AC.

Flame Dash, Wave of conviction + Culling strike: Use Wave of Conviction against tougher bosses. Every 2 casts of Manabond you should cast WoC to reduce Boss Lightning resistances, use Flame dash/WoC to Kill any boss under 10% hp because of Culling strike.

Other guard skills: Do not use other Guard skills like Molten shell, Steelskin, Immortal call,... Arcane cloak is a guard skill and you will not be able to cast it if you use another Guard skill.



Items

3 sets are there, low, medium and high budget. You will see some repeating items because some of them are really good. 

Endgame goal:
The staff and the helmet don't change for example since they are BiS so try to get those good rolled as soon as possible. The staff is better then the next best 30ex+ alternative Eclipse staff on steroids
Next best thing is Skyforth (with the elemental pen enchant if possible) for >>>Stun Immunity<<< Power charges, mana and movement speed
Replica Kaom's for a LOT of mana and lightning damage
Atziri's Foible for a lot of mana (aka damage and regen)
Try to have some str/dex on your Jewels so you don't have to take the +30 str/dex nodes
