Welcome to the written portion of the "Diviner" A divine Ire build for the templar hierophant (Totems!).
This build will serve as a starter build for PoE 3.26 league and can be scaled just Like "The Purifier"  build into an
absolute powerhouse! One that might not the best at anything, but should be very good at pretty much everything!

Early on, this build relies on positioning, some life scaling and freeze/chill as safety nets. this is not a "tank." 
scale mostly life and damage and use taunt to easily progress. 


Purifier vs Diviner vs shockwave totem?

The key difference being the removal of "clunk" as much as possible.

Divine Ire has a big beam that deals great damage when fully charged, nothing different from the delay of purifier there,
But it also has a field of AOE damage arround the totems that will be active without delay.
It is that field of damage that will kill the trash mobs while the charged up beams kill the harder to kill rare enemies.

We've performed a full SSF run testing various aspects during leveling. 
We've identified the importance of Firstly cast speed scaling, more than anything else
Untill we take "conviction of power" from our third lab, we'll also use the typical node "Elemental Overload."
This skill will trigger EO more often than the Purifier due to the "ticks" the field of damage will deliver.
Also, add you totem taunt mastery... this will keep you SAFE!


Below, you will find two guides (Short and Full Guide).

If you are a more seasoned PoE player, the short version will provide plenty of information for your league start
If you are (relatively) new to this somewhat intimidating game, Dont worry! we got you covered! The second guide will provide a near
step by step plan to build this Character as well, up to a point where the build starts to carry itself.

As always, we have provided multiple leveling trees for multiple stages of the leveling process as well!

SHORT GUIDE FOR EXPERIENCED PLAYERS

Start:
Choose your skill of choice  ( Freezin pulse - Roling magma - Stormburst mine etc. )
Make sure you have
Flame wall + Holy Flame totem.

Frost blink for mobility and dmg early on link to arcane surge ( keep at lvl 1 ) .

Go for sceptres as weapons at lvl 8+ . Leapslam is just to good. 
We scale some attack speed-cast speed hybrid nodes on the tree, so slam will be fast.

Act 2, get two heralds.. fire and purity for best damage.. but ice for some safety ( chill freeze) ( Ice and fire as combo then) 

Act 3 Get Haste. Hands down your first choice.. less clunk faster movement.

Use these skills until first Lab... HF Totems + flamewall carries well for trash mobs the 100% placement add and 3rd totem 
will make it smooth. HF Totems can be linked to Added Lightning Damage And Summon phantasm if you're lucky with a 3 link
After Lab and Ancestral bond, you go for a 4 link of Divine Ire - Spell totem Support - Faster casting ( BBRR).
4th link after act 4 = Multiple totems support. ( BBRR) or if you get a off collor 4 link before that Added lightning damage instead of 
Multiple totems support (BBBR) 

*****One you reach lvl 34, youll want to add Sigil of power as it add's plenty of damage!****

**Much Later add, Incr crit damage/strikes as 5th and 6th link ( at this point you should have removed Elementa Overload!!)**

For weapons, Look for +1 lvls( phys or light)  / cast speed and flat damage to spells.
Cold will help chill /freeze which adds a layer of safety

Labs in order of choice:
1 Ascent to "Hierophant" + Pursuit of Faith
2 Ritual of Awakening.
3 Conviction of power
4 Arcane Blessing

****Dont forget to remove Elemental Overload after 3nd Lab (Conviction of power).**** 
At this point the tree is constructed to be close to 3 clusters of Crit nodes to invest into
Also your conviction of power should coincide with the picking of the "Disciple of the forbidden" and
Instability node. Follow the tree's for more Info, and check the upgrade path for items that will increase power substantially 
beyond the SSF environment

STEP BY STEP GUIDE


Act 1
1. Start as templar, kill Hillock and enter town
   look for BBR items. RegEx for RBB, MS boots and +1 wands is "r-b-b|b-b-r|b-r-b|nne|Flam|singe|derha|itho"
  2. Clear/Walk coast, then Mud Flats and enter Underground Passpage. Take the WP to Coast, enter Tidal Island and kill Hailrake. 
   Character select screen and relog to Town. 
3. Grab MS flask, Arcane Surge from Nessa. Buy Holy Flame Totem. Grab Flame Wall and Frostblink from Tarkleigh
   Using Holy Flame Totem (HFT), Frostblink/Arcane Surge, FlameWall, Stormblast mine Or Roling Magna (optional single target extra)
   Attack skill is HFT. If you need extra dmg place the FlameWall on the totem, or between totem and enemies as well.
4. WP to Submerged Passge, find flood depths and kill Dweller (skillpoint) and move to the ledge
5. Run through Ledge, The Climb and in Lower prison take the WP back to town. You want to be level 8 or close by now
6. From Nessa grab Summon Phantasm, buy added lightning dmg. Buy Spell totem support (and level it up in swapped weapon). 
   Check for RBB and MS boots  links now are HFT-added lightning + Summon Phantasm       
7. WP to lower prison, do the trial and head to upper Prison, Wardens Quarters and kill Brutus
8. Travel trhough prisoners gate to Ship gravyard and take WP to town
     Take Leap Slam from Tarkleigh and buy clarity. Links now are
	- RBB HFT-added lightning + Summon Phantasm
	- R (Leapslam), B (Clarity), B (flamewall)
	- optional B (stormblast mine or Roling Magma ), BB (frostblink - arcane surge) 
9. WP to Ship Graveyard, find Cave and get Allflame, Kill Fairgrave and then head to Cavern of Wrath, Cavern of Anger and kill Merveil, 
and head to Act 2


Act 2
- head east to Crossroads, and head north to Chamber of Sins. Head to the middle area of the map where the WP is. Follow the WP direction to
  level 2 where you can do the lab and then help Helena. Portal back to crossroads
- Travel east to Broken bridge and follow the path to Bandit and kill them (we are killing all bandits). Portal back to crossroads.
- From Crossroads, head south to fellshine ruins. In Crypt do Lab in level 1, then portal to town. 
- Grab a mix of 2 Herald of Ice / Herald of Fire / Herald of Purity  as reward and then head west. Fire / Purity is best damage  
   Fire / Ice is best for some safety , freeze chill.  Follow the path past the WP until you hit the Western Forest.
- In Western Forest, Follow the path to WP and then stay on that side of the path till you find Bandit, Kill Bandit and continue south down the path
- Kill the Guards, insert the Thaumetic Emblem. Head north on the other side of the path to Weavers nest and kill Weaver. 
  Portal to to Riverways WP. 
- From Riverway WP head NW off the road to Wetlands, Kill Oak, find the WP and portal to town.
- Take the skill point and Faster casting as reward.
- Dont forget the golden "handjob" xD for an extra skill point!

Links/gems are now
	- BRB - HFT - Summon Phantasm - faster casting
	- R (Leapslam), B (Clarity), B (flamewall)
	, R Leap Slam
- WP to Act 1 and talk to Bestel for the skill point reward, then back to Act 2
- Take WP to wetlands, use spike and pass through the vaal ruins to Northern Forest and into The Caverns
- climb up the Pyramid, kill the boss and find Act 3!



Act 3
- after talking to Clarissa, enter Sarn and go straight to Slums
- walk to Crematorium, do the lab and find Tolman
- in Town grab key from Clarissa and Elemental Weakness as reward from Maramoa. ****As of level 24 4 links drop. Look out for a BBBR or BBRR **** 
  which we need to Divine Ire swap! *****Stay with Holy flame totem untill you have a 4 link!****
- enter sewers, grab the busts and head to marketplace. The catacombs for the lab. Portal out and back to marketplace WP and move on to
  Battlefront
- Go through battlefront taking ribbon spool, staying south on the way to Docks. Here you can level up some if needed. 
  Grab Thaumetic sulphite in docks.

- "Sever the Right hand" is the quest where we kill General Gravicius in the battlefront, reward will be DIVINE IRE!  Our skill of choice
- IF you managed to get a 4 link by now, links are Divine Ire, Faster Casting, Spell totem support , with added lightning damage as possible 4th
  Untill Multiple totems support ( Act 4 after you kill malachi )
  Make sure you enabled the lightning mastery as well ( 40% Phys to lightning convert under the "Crackling speed node"
  At this point you will have the Big "Ancestral bond" node enabled.. And either roling magma or Mines should be removed from gear as well 
  as Flame wall and Holy flame totem setups

- Head to Solaris Temple and follow the red carpet to level 2 and Dialla. Grab a amulet (STR or DEX as needed)
  and dont forget the recipe in the eternal laboratory in the side room! This is a flat spell dmg craft
- Back to sewers and through to Ebony Barracks. In imperial gardens do the lab and head to Siosa. 
- Do the library quest to access all gems (reward doesnt matter) and grab Hatred & Haste + Wrath (you cannot use all you can level them up)
- Our links are now
	- BBBR - Divine Ire - Spell Totem - Faster Casting - Added Lightning  ( or still the HFT setup if no 4 links dropped! )
	- R (Leapslam), B (Clarity), B (ele weakness or conductivity), And G (Haste) + G(Purity of ice) R (vitality) if you need regen to survive.

- head to Lunaris temple. Follow the carpet down to level 2 and kill Piety
- In town grab the Piety skill points from Grigor, pick any reward from Maramoa, check Hargan for upgrades/4 links 
- Now is a good time to do first lab. Ascend as Hierophant and take Pursuit of Faith first. You are now a Junior Diviner 
- Head back to the Gardens, unlock the Spectre of God and climb the stairs to Dominius. The next stairs are generally opposite the 
  exit of the last one
- Kill Dominius, run through aqueduct and welcome to Act 4!

Act 4
At the end of Act 4, you can swap out Added lightning damage to Multiple Totem Support is you have a BBRR
Add Lightning Golem for cast speed

From here on in the build is "finished for leveling" and you just grow stronger. Follow the Passive skill tree allocations within the leveling POB
Your links wont change untill you get a 5th link ( increased critical strikes ) and a 6th link ( increased critical damage) 

Act 7
- We take our 2nd ascendancy "Ritual of Awakening.".  
Not just for the 25% more damage with 5 totems.. but also the free 5% life regen/sec!
 
Act 10
- Take your 3rd ascendancy "Conviction of power"
This is where we crit convert and remove Elemental Overload fron the tree

Early Maps
Get to tier 6-7 untill you can do a trial.. Then lab and get 4th ascendancy "Arcane blessing"
Arcane surge will get a buff! 20% cast speed ( from gem support as well)  and 20% more spell dmg ( from ascendancy only!) 

5TH LINK incr critical damage
6TH LINK Incr critical strikes


TIPS

- placing the Flamewall exactly on totem location or between Mob and totem increases your damage.
- Adding frost blink to your setup can help you speed up by canceling the animation of your leap slam.
- Adding a trap with wave of conviction will provide exposure (more dps) even with ancestral bond enabled.
- Frostblinking INTO a pack reduces the cooldown of the skill
- Make sure you grab all rares/magics early on. Sell Un-identified if you need Transmute sell identified if you need Alterations
- Make sure to do & collect Essences. These are easy alchemy orbs in the first few Acts.
- Pick up Rare sceptres and ID them.
- if your damage doesnt seem to scale while you are adding the 5th and 5th link (both crit) check if you removed Elemental Overload from the tree!
- granite flasks help a LOT early on to provide needed phys mitigation. keep an eye our for them to avoid losing 50% reservation to determination.
- Damage of the build is substantial enough to not need hatred early on.. if you feel your safety lacks but you damage is okay,
 Swap hatred for Heralnd of ice + vitality + defiance banner combined with granite flask. 
- At act 6 your resistance takes a -30% penalty. Luckly for us, a simple bismuth flask can help. 
 while it is always advised to work to get your gear in check, such a simple flask comes in handy in a pinch!
- If you are experiencing issues with ailments with no easy other way to fix them
 You can always change some of your damage options to purity of elements to be imune.
 your damage should be enough either way

Some intermediate uniques of interest

1 Call of the Brotherhoods (COTB). The Phys to light converted to cold is way to good to mis out on for scaling if combined with,
2 Heatshiver, yes it got a hit.. but with this skill + COTB it will add quick and easy extra damage!

Engame uniques

1 The Militant faith Timeless Jewel "Dominus"! Yes... no dodging that one! Check the Video guide for important Trade search Information.
Get on there... a combination of two of the following modifiers
- Effect of non curse auras per X devotion
- Elemental damagew per X devotion
- Totem damage per X devotion
2 Replica dragonsfang. ( + 3 Divine Ire gem levels always scale well with Phys spells ) 
  Anoint wood stone and spell! for 50% incr effect of arcane surge
3 is a Combo.. Shavronnes Wrappings + Prism Guardian for low life transitioning + righteous fire etc...

7 Clusters, these arent as important as the initial upgrades, but if we are to squeeze more aura's they will be inevitable
8 A half way decent Watchers eye, we can go for strong wrath and zealotry options in the end. 
9 Eventually, waay down the line we will most likely go classic.. MB, Melding / Aegis / new flask rework for easier cold res max and.. yes maybe 
nebulis

For "crafting".. 
1 Glove mod for full phys to lightning convert
2 Phys es extra + action speed on boots.
3 Belt / boots with proper res and life regen/sec ( sustain RF )
4 Weapon ( think +1 all or +1 phys/light with Cast speed spell crit / crit mult)
