PoB is very bad at calculating doom blast, so here are the corrections we have done:
-We are tricking PoB into calculating DPS correctly by setting our cast speed to the cap (arbitrary and extreme %inc cast speed). That gives DPS assuming you are entirely cooldown gated, though it is still slightly lowered by rounding to the server tick in PoB
It is VERY easy to be cooldown gated without woke cascade, and entirely trivial with it
-Having a third curse is luxury, you can 100% go get whispers of doom via cast speed or AoE but I find I do not need it.
-+level to active gem is useless, only +level we get is to supports or to socketed gems. You could craft a rare chest with +int and + support but that'd be a bitch to do vs a skin which also gives 100% global defenses and we use 3 forms of global defenses
That includes woke void manip, PoB will show a way bigger damage increase than it actually gives. Just get divergent for life leech once you can.
-Punishment is off to force PoB to calculate despair, in reality we ARE running punishment and despair works as intended.
As for the build itself:
-Despair and temp chains can be swapped at will, but you need whichever isn't your active as a 1 link somewhere else. Balance of terror won't count vixens casts and we need both mods quite badly, so be sure to cast the offhand curse every 10s. Despair is cheaper due to skin colors, temp chains is better QoL due to not needing the despair mod mapping
-Regen is tight, I do NOT map with rf on as it is overkill damage. Would love to add some more flat life regen but this is a lot of uniques to fit a suffix in
-Astra + magnate might not be optimal, but if you choose to go away from it you most likely have to drop grace entirely. That gives back your anoint and would let you use an amulet like eternal struggle to make up the difference of not having magnate, but also loses 140% chc and 25% damage. Without +level amulets working for the build, I thought this route better
